Isshin Machi-Taīwan food at Holland V Sg
Address - 18 Lor Mambong, Singapore 277678
Ambiance/Facilities - air-con clean, quiet
Highlights - Taiwanese foodfare & bubble tea
Avg. Price per Person - $15-30/pax
Rating - This no frill air-conditioned eatery in Holland village sells Taiwanese foodfare like beef noodle soup, fried chic cubes, braised pork rice and many more. They also complement the meal with Taiwan style bubble tea and other desserts. Foodfare was not bad but we found no wow factor in most of the taste execution and price point also a tad high. With loads of other competitors around the vinicity worth a one time try but won't be patronising anytime soon.

Yummy naan!
We decided to try this Indian restaurant after reading many good reviews, but we somehow were quite disappointed, maybe our expectations are too high after reading the reviews.
“The pink panther” is located at Holland village. The decoration of this place is very nice and interesting, staff here are very nice and attentive too. However, the food here are only average.
Chaat- we were quite disappointed at the Chaat because we were expecting a crispy crust, but it somehow didn’t turn out that way. It’s soft and abit oily, but the sauce and tease is there.
Garlic Naan with chicken Tikka- very nice!! We all enjoy the garlic naan, it’s so crispy and yummy! Pair it really well with the chicken Tikka, the chicken Tikka also our favourite too! So spicy and tasty.
Nasi Brayani- this is also such a disappointment, not sure how to describe it but it’s just not nice, not flavourful enough.
This place is quite expensive, their chicken tikka is $19.90 for a small bowl. The rest of the dishes are about the same price as well.

Affordable & yummy skewers @ cheers
#singapore if you're looking for a budgetfriendly casual place to grab a bite & some drinks THIS IS WHERE YOU NEED TO GO —
▪️Cheers convenience store @ Holland Village ▪️
Address: 24 Lor Mambong, Singapore 277683
Opening Hours: 7AM - 11PM
Im honestly so happy that my Bestfriend found this little gem. They offer 6 different type of draft beers for only $6 a cup?! 😳 & The best part of this cheers store is that they have a bbq skewer station where you can order 10 skewers for only $12?! THIS IS A BIG DEAL 🤩
🧡 Im a big fan of their beef & pork bbq skewers — They're juicy fatty & bursting of flavours. They're cheese sausage is also really worth the price you're paying!
🚩 Not a big fan of their chicken skewers as they were pretty bland (its chicken breast if im not wrong), their mushroom too is pretty underwhelming too. So stick with the meat 🤭😉
🤩If you're not a big fan of beer dont worry!!!!! since its cheers, you can buy the other drinks too like soju, wine, sake and spirits! (Just ask them for a glass)
🫢 Do take note! There are quite limited seats indoor so try to get there early during the weekends to snatch a table.
This is a great place for pre drinks, after drinks or a casual date night with your bestie or partner 🤭

Omma Korean Charcoal BBQ

Ambiance/Facilities - Proper upscale korean bbq vibes
Highlights - bbq meat. and the option to choose what wood to cook on
Avg. Price per Person - $50

You will begin to understand why good food costs so much after coming to this place. We tried the mixture of beef and pork for 2 people. It came with a bowl of kimchi soup and egg that were so good we almost didn’t manage to get good pictures out of them. A little salty but somehow still sweet tasting.
The pork was the king of the meal. It was so juicy with fats that melt in your mouth. Paired with lettuce for that crunch of freshness and you’re teleported to heaven.
One of the best valentine’s day meal ever.

Had the truffle wagyu don and aburi salmon sushi don. The wagyu was ordinary, doesn’t taste wagyu. 5/10. Salmon don was okay. Rice doesn’t taste like Japanese rice though. Not chewy enough. The rolls were good. Had fried prawn roll and salmon teriyaki roll.

Holland Village Market & Food Centre
Holland Village is not all about restaurant, bars or cafes for amazing food! There is a this 2 level market and food centre where level 1 is a wet market that sells vegetables, meats, dried goods and also clothings and 2nd level of the market has food stalls where most of the stalls here has been in this food centre for ages.
There is the very popular kuey chap stall that sells since when my dad was a kid, or even before this market was built, popular Muslim stall on the right hand side of the food centre which normally gets quite a queue! Long queues Chee Chiong Fun that is made fresh for you on the spot and of course my ever famous nasi lemak stall that the chicken requires no introduction! Just look at the batter and the crunch! Just amazing la!
There are also many other food options here like porridge and even Michelin star fish ball noodles too!

Vending Machine? Look Again
Those that are having dinner in holland village, there is a little ice cream cafe called 2nd serving located at 41 Holland Dr, #01-07, Singapore 270041 that has just popped up in holland village less than 6 months that is gaining so much popularity that you have to queue outside the shop to wait for your turn to have a taste of their amazing waffles and ice cream.
This shop is a family run business that is unique because their flavours of ice cream and waffles always changes. Every visit there is at least 3 different flavours of ice cream and 1 different waffle flavour. Ice cream flavours so unique like watermelon soju, tau sar pia, tie guan yin, pu er and many more! Waffles flavour like pandan mochi, salted caramel, red velvet mochi and other traditional flavour.

The ever famous Keong Siak bakery is now located at chip bee Gardens holland village! It is among the end of the row of shops at chip bee Gardens!
Keong Siak Bakery uses fresh ingredients from red man where you can see them freshly preparing your pastries and cakes!
They have a set menu that consist of either a cake, toaste or pastry with coffee and you get a dollar off! The pastries features our local favourites like orh nee, salted egg, and even a specially made mushroom soup cube.
They do have limited seating, so do head there early as they do get crowded especially during breakfast and lunch!
Drinks like coffee and tea are also available at a reasonable price starting at $3 for hot and $4 for cold. Do check them out!

Perfect Local Breakfast In Holland
Craving for Singapore's Local Cusine for breakfast, head to Cafe-O located at 118 Holland Ave, Singapore 278973. They do have another outlet at jurong east as well!
This cafe serves really good Prata, they also dobhave a few variations. The menu also has our Singapore local favourite Nasi Lemak with alsona few variations, dry mee siam, lotong and many more! They are also known for their very thick and rich ice teas and coffee.
Mostly, this cafe will be crowded for breakfast and lunch, and they too have very limited seating due to space constrain in the outlet.
There is a small parking area located right beside cafe-o but its always full with cars waiting, I also do not recommend to park in the mall as its really expensive. You can park opposite at the open air car park at Holland Village or take a circle line to holland village, as the MRT is located just beside the cafe.

The Mini Orchard Road Of Singapore(Holland)
During Covid Holland Village was like a ghost town and before covid Holland Village is known as the mini orchard of Singapore!
Now it's time to visit Holland Village again, because the night life here is back! When the sun sets, the road will be close and restaurant and bar owners will extend their restaurant out of their shops and onto the road! With bars and live bands like the famous Wala Wala, Harry's or even Tango!
Holland Village will be packed especially on a Friday and Saturday night with people having drinks, or bbq at Omma Korean BBQ, or having Mexican food at chimichanga or cha cha cha Mexican restaurant or maybe u are craving for Japanese, there is an affordable Umi Nami that serves really good Japanese food at pocket friendly prices.
There is so much options here that you will generally be spoilt for choice! But do drop by earlier especially on weekend as most restaurants are fully packed out.

A popular Japanese restaurant in Holland Village!
My favourite is the Unagi rice bowl and the clam soup.
As the price is for affordable, it is usually very crowded at night. Hence I would recommend to go over before 7 pm so that you can grab your seat first! Just note that the restaurant only accept cash and the nearest ATM is actually quite far away!
After the meal, you can hang out at that area for some desserts, drinks and more!

Family friendly sushi restaurant
Sushi Zanmai is one of the most popular restaurant in Malaysia, and this is the only sushi Zanmai in Singapore. It’s located at Holland village at the raffle Holland V mall. We came here quite often because the price here is very affordable and they are many selections, it’s the best place to bring your family here. The range are from cooked food to raw sashimi, with dessert selections as well.
I tried the udon soup for the first time because I was craving for something soupy, it was a decent bowl of beef slice udon noodles soup and it’s so affordable, only $13.90 for this bowl of noodles. We ordered the sashimi bowl as well, it is not the freshest, but it’s decent with wallet friendly price :)
We also love their roll, we ordered the mentaiko salmon roll and it’s always good. We came here for early dinner and the food came super quickly, almost like having a Japanese fast food. But it can get busy during peak hours as well. I would highly recommend to try this place for your future reference!

Hidden gem in Holland
I’ve walked past this Italian place ( L’Operetta) many times and decided to give it a try that day because I was craving for pizza. We came on a Saturday night without reservation and we managed to get an outdoor bar seats. We love that seats because they were showing Olympics!
We ordered a crab pasta and it was so delicious!! The texture of the pasta was perfect, tomato crab pasta was super delicious and there were a lot of crab meat as well. Oh, Singaporen will love this, they even cooked with chilli padi! So yummy!
We also ordered an estimation pasta pizza with eggplant, sausages, cheese and onions. OMG it was so delicious! The custard was super thin and airy, the tomato pasta was delicious and the sausages is salty. The pizza was so perfect that we didn’t even need to ask for chilli flakes. I love the eggplant on the pizza, it’s so special!
Of course we have to try their dessert, tiramisu was decent, not the best we have eaten but also not bad. I think it’s good enough to satisfy my tiramisu craving. I would highly recommend this place!!

New sauerkraut fish in SG
Little Pond in Holland Village is absolutely the new place to go for sauerkraut fish, the fish is so smooth and fresh and it comes in different sizes. We ordered the 2 portion golden sauerkaunt fish and it is more than enough for 2 pax, the soup is so delicious, sour and tasty. There are bamboo shoot, enoki mushroom, Chinese cabbage and picked veggie in the soup. It is definitely comparable to Tai Er sauerkaunt fish :)
We added a portion of veggies, love the black fungus and it goes so well with the soup! This big portion of veggies is about $12.90. They are having promotion now, just scan the QR code to do a survey and you will get a plate of seaweed. I like to pour the rice into the soup, it tasted like “pao fan”
We top up $1 for the free flow tea, condiments and ice cream. The ice cream is self service and I think you should just pay $1 to enjoy the free flow drinks and desserts. The staff here are very attentive and friendly, she told us the dining time is 75 minutes, but will allow us to enjoy our meal if there is no customers waiting.
I enjoyed my meal here and hope you will enjoy this place too ☺️

🇸🇬Cocobella🥥Healthy Cafe-Hopping at One Holland Village
🌞 Perfect for a Hot Day! 🌞 . I stumbled upon Cocobella Lifebar (IG @cocobellasg) at OHV (IG @onehollandv) and decided to cool off with a cold drink. The large fridge near the entrance, filled with yogurt and coconut water, immediately caught my eye. I picked up the watermelon coconut drink in this large packet (as pictured), and I was pleasantly surprised by both the quality and the price—just $5! . Although I didn't get to try their other in-cafe options, the cozy seats and healthy drinks make this spot perfect for catching up with friends who are especially "healthy-concious" and wants to do cafe-hopping. . Really nice colours, design and ambiance here too. . 📍𝐂𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐫 7 Holland Village Way, One, #01 -55 Holland Village, S275748 . #CocobellaLifebar #OHV #Sghealthy #Sgcafe #Sgdrinks #Hollandvillage #Singapore

Frankie & Fern's
#singaporetrip
Frankie & Fern’s - pretty much one of the cafes in Singapore right now which I feel has nailed down the right kind of vibes.
Lovely palette of decor, matched with charming rooftop views of Holland Village and lush greens - natural light flooding the recesses of the space - it is hard to resist an ambience as such.
Service was attentive and really personable and it is a lovely feeling to be at the cafe - akin to dwelling at a cosy home. Lovely touch to have an open space nursery where kids can play while parents sip coffee or have lunch.
Overall a great experience and I feel it’s a great place to bring friends for a nice catch up. Will definitely be back.

One Holland Village
#travelanywhere
Unlike most of the other shopping malls in Singapore, One Holland Village mall is a 🐕 pet-friendly lifestyle mall and you can bring your fur kids while shopping and dining. There are a lot of tables and seats around where you can rest and relax, as well as spacious open spaces where you can walk your fur kids. There are also a lot of choices for dining, and some of the shops even offer pets treats.

Sourbombe Bakery
#travelanywhere
Address: 7 Holland Village Way, #01-27, Singapore 275748
Located on the ground floor at the new One Holland Village mall, there are a total of 4 outlets in Singapore. The main highlights of the menu are the Sourbombe, which is actually a creation of a cross between sour dough and the Italian Bomboloni (a bomb shaped doughnut with fillings). The bakery also sells some savoury pastries and drinks. One interesting thing I spotted is that they even offer pets treats for the store at One Holland Village!

#familytrips2024
A new dairy-free coconut-based frozen yoghurt stop in Singapore! The place is pretty huge and has sports a lovely Bali beachside decor, full of summer vibes. Unlike usual frozen yoghurt shops where you pick and choose your own toppings, Cocobella has their own preplanned menu of yoghurt and topping combinations. Love the vibes at Cocobella Lifebar! They offer froyo bowls, smoothies, and coconut-based beverages.
