Into the enchanting Hong Kong Park
Last Sunday, the sky was clear and sunny, so my father, mother, sister and I went to the Hong Kong Park together.
We first took the MTR to Admiralty, and then walked up the escalator in the Queensway Plaza to the Hong Kong Park, where the birds and flowers were in full bloom. As we walked towards the park, we could hear the sound of running water from afar. As we approached the park, a pavilion-like fountain came into view. The water pouring down from the top of the pavilion was magnificent, like a water curtain. My sister and I ran around the entrance to the water curtain, out and in, and had a great time.
From the fountain turn left up the stairs, we reached the greenhouse. Inside the greenhouse were cacti of all sizes, some as fat as lanterns, some as thin as bamboo poles, some as small as fingers, and some as tall as trees. We were amazed by the cacti's strange shapes and spikes on their surfaces!

We followed the path to the Aviary. Walking into the Aviary, we felt like we were in a tropical rainforest, and we could hear birds chirping everywhere. We saw colorful birds such as Alexandria parakeets, long-crowned pachyderms, crowned doves and pheasants. It happened to be feeding time, and the staff took out peanuts from their pockets. Suddenly, birds came from all directions and scrambled for them, making the scene hilarious. We were so excited that we immediately took out our cameras to capture the precious moment!
Finally, as the sun was setting, we were reluctant to leave and looked forward to coming back next time.
