I have just emerged from the Hong Kong Space Museum, and my thoughts are still swirling in space! The cost of admission to the space voyage was reasonable given the experience it provided. 🎟️ #HKSpaceAdventure #BangForYourBuck
The egg-shaped dome of the museum located in Tsim Sha Tsui is easily noticeable. The interior of the planetarium is an amazing sight to behold, full of stars. The astronomy event was highly impressive, and the interactive displays made space exploration appear more tangible. 👩🚀🌠
The Space Theatre was truly a remarkable experience. The comfortable reclining seats, mesmerizing visuals, and captivating cosmic soundtrack transported me to an incredible journey through the galaxy. 🎬✨ Remember to verify the timetable for the Omnimax movies - a one-of-a-kind, captivating encounter! 🌏

The Star Ferry in Hong Kong, a romantic journey through time
✨Every time Hong Kong is mentioned, the bustling Victoria Harbour always comes to mind, and hidden within this beautiful port is a romantic voyage through time—the Star Ferry.
🌊I remember that day, the sun was just right, and the breeze was gentle. As I stepped onto the deck of the Star Ferry, it felt like traveling through time and space, back to the old, bustling Hong Kong. The ferry slowly set out, and the beauty of Victoria Harbour was fully in view, with skyscrapers and the glittering sea reflecting each other, like a moving painting.
🎉People on the boat were chatting or taking photos, each immersed in this unique romance. And I sat quietly at the bow, feeling the sea breeze caress my face, as if I could hear the whispers of the waves, telling the past and future of Hong Kong.
🌉As the ferry passed the Kowloon Peninsula, those familiar sights came into view one by one: the Avenue of Stars, the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, the Hong Kong Space Museum... Each place carries countless memories and stories.
💖The Star Ferry is not just a boat, but also a carrier of time. It has witnessed the changes in Hong Kong and carries countless emotions and memories. Here, you can feel the prosperity and romance of Hong Kong, and also find your own peace and beauty.

Hong Kong Museum Parent-Child Trip
This time I took my son to Hong Kong, we didn't go to Disneyland or Ocean Park, but visited many museums instead. We had a great time just the same, and here I'd like to share some tips.
First of all, upon arriving in Hong Kong, the first impression is that Hong Kong people are more enthusiastic than they were ten years ago. When we asked a young man who was jogging at night for directions, not only did he tell us how to get there, but he also waited for us at the next intersection, afraid that we would take the wrong path; when we went to the bank to change for small bills, since we didn't have a local bank account, the front desk lady went out of her way to communicate with the teller for us, so we could successfully get the change; at the restaurant, the cashier auntie warmly recommended dishes to us, and when we were leaving, she even said 'Have fun'. Throughout the trip, we spoke Mandarin and did not encounter the discrimination or unfair treatment mentioned online. The premise is that we also need to show our quality.
Back to the main topic , if you also want to take your child to leisurely stroll around Hong Kong and visit various museums, the following two tips are very important.
One, it seems that Hong Kong doesn't really try to make money off children, especially in terms of educational aspects. They have a museum pass (annual card system), which costs 100 Hong Kong dollars per year, allowing unlimited visits to all museums under the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (including the Space Museum, Science Museum, History Museum, etc.). Here comes the key point, do you think 100 Hong Kong dollars a year is not cheap? Let me tell you, this is an annual fee for a family of up to four people, do you still think it's expensive? You'll earn it back with just one visit , and you can also get a discount on souvenirs with the card. So how do you apply? Just fill out the application form on the Leisure and Cultural Services Department's website in advance, and then send an email to the museum where you want to pick up the card (must be collected within 15 days), or you can fill out the application form and print it out to handle it on site. We mainland tourists can also apply.
Two, the dome movie at the Space Museum is a must-see, but it's almost impossible to buy tickets on-site during holidays. We can buy tickets 7 days in advance on the Cityline ticketing website, and then go to the ticket counter with the confirmation barcode to exchange for tickets. When we were exchanging tickets, looking at the envious eyes of those tourists behind us who could only buy tickets for the next day or the day after, we felt a bit smug . Of course, it's also best to buy tickets for the Peak Tram and the Ferris wheel online in advance.
In summary, we had a particularly fun trip to Hong Kong these past few days.

Hong Kong Space Museum presents the new 3D dome film 'Polar Extremes 3D'.
Starting from April 1st (Monday), the Hong Kong Space Museum's Stanley Ho Space Theatre will be screening the new 3D dome film 'Polar Extremes 3D', taking audiences on an exploration of Antarctica.
Antarctica is the coldest, driest, and windiest place on Earth. 'Polar Extremes 3D' will lead audiences deep into the Antarctic animal world, starting with a dive beneath the ice into a vibrant underwater world, then returning to the surface to join a large penguin colony, and finally enjoying what may be the most whales ever seen on screen. Whales play a key role in mitigating climate change, and the film not only provides a visual spectacle for viewers but also helps them understand the impact of human overhunting of whales on climate change. With global temperatures rising, the film prompts humans to reflect and take action to protect the Antarctic ecosystem, to prevent climate change from disrupting its balance and further affecting the whole world.
The program is 24 minutes long and will be shown until January 13, 2025. Screening times are 2:00 PM and 6:30 PM on weekdays; and 12:30 PM and 5:00 PM on weekends and public holidays. Ticket prices are 24 HKD (front seats) and 32 HKD (back seats). Tickets are now available at the Hong Kong Space Museum Box Office and URBTIX.
The Hong Kong Space Museum is located at 10 Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, and is closed on Tuesdays (except public holidays).

Hong Kong Space Museum 🕶️✨
Located next to the Hong Kong Cultural Center in Tsim Sha Tsui East, it is characterized by its semi-spherical architectural shape, there are two floors in the museum, the lower floor is the permanent exhibition hall and gift shop, and the upper floor is the Sky Hall, which is a video projection room with a circular vaulted ceiling. There are exhibition halls on both floors, but they are being refurbished, and there are also information desks. 🍃
A lot of interesting interactive devices have been added, which I think are especially suitable for children to play and learn along the way. There are more people in the morning on weekends, and there are not many people in the evening. 👀
3D movies are recommended, and the other two exhibition halls are also good, but not very big, and can be visited in about 1 hour. Overall, it is especially suitable for a family with kids. 🐥
