[2024 Naha Stay] Travel Guide for Hotel Sun Okinawa (Updated Nov)
Okinawa Sun Hotel, a traditional Japanese-style old hotel, located near Kencho-mae Station and Ryubo Department Store.
1. A traditional Japanese-style hotel with old facilities but still relatively clean.
2. There is a restaurant, a café, a souvenir shop, and a vending machine area. If you need anything, there are always three staff members at the front desk on the first floor ready to assist guests.
3. The second floor features a traditional Japanese-style large public bath and a stone sauna.
4. Breakfast is served in a nine-compartment tray for self-service, mainly offering Japanese dishes such as pickles, cooked food, natto, and miso soup, as well as simple Western options. The fish and pork are well-seasoned and delicious. Over the four days, I only encountered Japanese guests.
5. Located next to Ryubo Department Store, you can visit the fresh food supermarket on the basement level to buy food and enjoy it back at the hotel. It is very close to Kencho-mae Station, making transportation convenient, and Kokusai Street is also nearby.
6. Large scenic windows with river views when you open the curtains. Occasionally, a monorail passes by, but the soundproofing is good, so it doesn't disturb you.
7. If you stay for four consecutive days, the room will not be cleaned, but you can hang a cleaning sign on the door if needed. Clean towels are hung on the door handle daily during your stay.
