Travel Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive at Golden Beach in the morning and play from east to west. First, check in at Jiahe Bridge, and then go to Conch Square to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Then go to Housha Square to experience the glass bridge, and children can play on the slide and rock climbing. Have lunch at a nearby restaurant and taste delicious food such as mackerel dumplings. In the afternoon, go to Lian Yantai Hall to take pictures, and then go to the beach to wade and swim. In the evening, check in at Sky Appointment and Lonely Whale to enjoy the beautiful sunset.
Day 2: Visit the City Exhibition Center in the morning to learn about the history of Yantai Development Zone. Then go to Time Tower to feel the beauty of architecture. 🌅 My first stop was the First Bathing Beach, where the golden sand and shimmering sea made me feel like I was in paradise. Then, I strolled to Moon Bay, listening to the sound of the waves and watching the sunset. At that moment, I felt a sense of tranquility and beauty. Next, I visited the East Fort, Dongshan Pier, and the Second Bathing Beach, each of which left me lingering. The Fisherman's Wharf and the Yellow Sea Pearl made me feel the romance and prosperity of Yantai.
🕌 On the second day, I immersed myself in the retro charm of the 1920 Cultural District, as if I had traveled back in time. Yantai Mountain and Chaoyang Street gave me a taste of the city's historical charm. Sochengli Street and Housha Square made me feel the local life. The sunset at Golden Beach was mesmerizing, and at that moment, I felt like I was the center of the world.
On the third day, I went to Yangma Island, rented a scooter, and rode along the seaside, feeling the freedom and romance. The scenery of Yangma Island is picturesque, with gentle sea breezes and waves. At that moment, I felt like the protagonist of this world. The scenery here is poetic and picturesque, making it the perfect backdrop for photos at any time.

Yantai Mountain Scenic Area: Surrounded by the sea on three sides, it combines mountains, sea, city, port, and exotic ambiences. Climbing up the lighthouse to overlook the whole Yantai's mountains, sea, city, and port is a must! 😜
Chaoyang Street: A European-style retro street with many old buildings, super photogenic! 😎 Don't forget to check in at Rongxiang Seafood, where the ingredients are fresh and the taste is amazing!
Yantai Binhai Square: A great place to feed seagulls, right out of Chaoyang Street.
Haichang Fisherman's Wharf: Like a fairytale town, it also has a seaside track similar to the one in 'Spirited Away'.
Nan Hong Street Night Market: On the way back to the hotel, night markets are more or less the same, but what left a deep impression was a cold snack called spicy chicken that I haven't seen anywhere else 😝
PS: Since I was traveling with my mom, we didn't leave until 4 PM after a nap. If you're energetic, you can visit other attractions in the same direction as the Fisherman's Wharf, see P2 for details.
Day3⃣: Yangma Island - Xinyang Restaurant - Yantai👉Nanjing
Yangma Island: The jelly-like clear sea, most of the photo spots on Yangma Island are on the west coast. No need for navigation, just head to where there are lots of cars and people. Half a day is enough. The Xinyang Restaurant on the island is very famous and was the best meal of the trip! 😋
Experience Summary:
1⃣ The airport is very far from the city center, so it's recommended to travel by high-speed rail. 🚄
2⃣ Choose to stay in Zhifu District, where the facilities are complete and it's convenient to go anywhere. We stayed at an old-brand five-star hotel, right next to Yantai Mountain, Chaoyang Street, and Binhai Square. You can see the sea from the bed, and there's even a hotel-exclusive viewing platform to watch the sunrise at sea! The price is also affordable. 😃
3⃣ The key to the jelly sea of Yangma Island is the weather and tides. The sea is bluer on sunny days, and the jelly effect is best during the high tide of the active tide. The tide times vary every day, and if you don't know how to read a tide table, just ask the owner of the electric car rental shop.
5⃣ The ring road around Yangma Island is a counterclockwise one-way street and can get congested. It's best to rent an electric car near Tianma Square, usually 💰50 yuan with no time limit.
6⃣ The seafood in Yantai is especially fresh and the portions are generous! Be careful with how much you order! I think the sea intestine rice is just average (maybe my expectations were too high), 💰158 per serving, not as delicious as ordinary fish, shrimp, and crab.

1️⃣Lonely Whale: When a whale falls, all things thrive. A whale fall is the last tenderness a whale leaves to the ocean. Experience the loneliness and greatness of whales here.
2️⃣Golden Beach Seaside Park: The white transparent wedding chapel looks even more romantic with the sea.
3️⃣Housha Square: Perfect for watching the sunset. You can take photos that blend the sea and sky at the Mong Kok Corridor Bridge.
4️⃣Yangma Island: It takes 3-4 hours to circle the island. Come in the afternoon, and after circling the island, watch the sunset at Xishan Bay. There are many check-in points on Yangma Island: Zhang Island (red boardwalk, conch cave), Yubi Garden (big photo frame), sea erosion caves (Dog Demon Eighteen Caves), Island Diary (popular coffee shop), Lotus Sunset (lonely tree, island letter, popular cave).
5️⃣Fisherman's Wharf: Coming to Yantai without visiting Fisherman's Wharf is like not coming at all! The European-style buildings along the coast resemble a seaside town in Europe, and the same sea track as in Spirited Away is also here.
6️⃣Yantai Mountain: Features Bing Xin's former residence, Dragon King Temple, Relang Pavilion, and offers a high view of the sea.
7️⃣Chaoyang Street: A street with a Republic of China style. The lightbox signs on both sides of the street are very distinctive.

Bus No. 17 covers almost all the attractions from Yumeiren Square to Chaoyang Street. The double-decker bus runs along the coastline, enjoying the sea breeze and the night view of Fisherman's Wharf. The beauty can only be described by experiencing it yourself.
