Huangcuolin Hot Springs - A scenic beauty of Fujian tourism!
Huangcuolin Nature Reserve is located in the northwest of Minqing County, Fuzhou City, upstream of the largest hydropower station in East China - the Shuikou Power Plant Dam. The Huangcuolin forest is evenly distributed and concentrated in patches, making it the world's rarest and China's largest protected area for the unique Huangcuolin hot springs!
Huangcuolin Hot Springs has 3 open-air spring eyes, which together produce a daily water output of 800 tons, creating 18 natural open-air hot spring pools of various sizes!
These pools are distributed on both sides of a mountain hollow, at the upper end of the 'Number One Hot Spring Stream in China' Bai Mi Stream, and are accessible everywhere via plank bridges and stone steps as 'veins'!
Some of them are terraced or scattered in a plum blossom shape on the hillside; others use natural stone caves as pools, hidden in the dense shade; and some pools are ingeniously built under dried-up waterfalls!
The Huangcuolin Hot Springs are rich in sodium bicarbonate and are known as 'Beauty Soup' with a water temperature of 52°C. They have a large output and are effective for beauty, moisturizing the skin, and softening the cuticle!
The unique landscape, streams in deep mountain valleys, waterfalls breaking through walls, and hot springs erupting from the ground make it an ideal place for vacation, summer retreat, returning to nature, and health preservation!
