I saw the news that Bromo Volcano was closed, which brought back memories of going to Java Island to see Bromo Volcano in August 🌋 Small tips: 1️⃣ Choose the left side for your seat! Our flight from Bali to Java Island is said to be the least safe flight in the world 🥲 Fortunately, we arrived safely and without delay, and we even saw amazing cloud scenery from the plane ✌️ (see pictures 12, 13) But it seems my friend sitting on the right could see the crater 🥲 2️⃣ Don't rent a jeep! Going up the mountain is fine, but going down will make you question your life due to traffic jams, and traffic in Indonesia is still about saving your life 🥲 We chose to arrive at the volcano village the night before. At 3:30 AM, there were motorcycles right outside the guesthouse. Taking a motorcycle up and down the mountain is fast and convenient! It was just too cold 😬 My friend even hid inside the motorcycle driver's scarf (see picture 14, zgy is so cute 😊) But the locals are still very simple and honest. Thinking about how hard they work for so little money made me empathize with them a bit 🥲 3️⃣ Don't go to the influencer tree! Those who want to check in for photos can ignore this 🥲 We chose to go directly to the highest point. The view is great, unobstructed, and you don't have to deal with crowds. From where we were, the influencer tree was super crowded (which deterred us). 4️⃣ The cliff village is stunning! It would probably be even more beautiful with mist and clouds~ The volcano village has the feel of a Swiss town (a budget-friendly alternative).

🌈 Highlights: Da Djawatan Forest is famous for its giant monkey pod trees and is nicknamed the "Lord of the Rings Demon Forest." It is a small attraction on East Java Island. We took a chartered car to visit this place on the way to Wainamu. 🚗 Address & Transportation: It takes one hour from Ijen Volcano directly to Wainamu Pier. Visiting here requires two hours, then one hour back to the pier, plus one hour for photos, totaling four hours.
