Three Places to not miss in Marrakesh
Today Marrakech is UNESCO World Heritage-listed and offers so much to the adventurous tourist - like camel rides in the desert, the impressive architecture of the city, traditional food, stunning performances and culture, and fantastic shopping in its bazaars.
In this case, I highly recommend immersing yourself in these three places that are close to each other and it can take a whole day to visit. 😍
📍Experience Djemaa El Fna (during day and night)
📍The Koutoubia Mosque is Marrakech's most famous landmark with its striking, 70-meter-tall minaret visible for miles in every direction.
📍Visit the Medersa Ben Youssef is a timeless masterpiece that has more than 6 centuries old.

The Djema Square in the old town of Marrakech's Medina, during the day, came and went, and at night, it became a lively and sleepless square.
Tourists and locals gathered from all sides, barbecues, juices, snack stalls, Arabs who play snakes, and Berbers who have been entertaining, lining up the square that has existed for a thousand years.
If you want to shoot the night scene, the second floor of the French coffee on the side of the square has a good view, you can go up to occupy the position early, and it will not be up late!
Bean..
If every city has its soul, then the sleepless square is the soul and essence of Marrakech. This square full of medieval Arabian style can be said to be very lively from sunrise to late night. There are Indian snake charmers everywhere, Arabs selling spice tea, Moroccan old people telling stories and fortune telling, various performances, and countless The sale of food, beverages, clothing, carpets, furnishings, leather, handicrafts, and the sights of our tourists make this millennium city full of vitality.

Buy a glass of mango juice, shuttle through the market stalls, and when you are tired, look for a coffee shop with a terrace to watch the sunset... Watch the lights slowly light up the square, watch the smoke rise, listen to the hawkers scream, contaminate A fireworks ~
watching the sunset when encountering a pair of old Spanish couples, grandpa sing pink pants, with grandmother dark green dress , so fresh candy color with white hair, extra romantic Touching.
After that, you should be like this and the person you love will slowly become old and elegant~
Lets talk about the food guide of Sleepless Square!

Almost all travel enthusiasts will suggest you to go to Djema Square, and especially during the night time, where the scene from the "One Thousand and One Nights" story seems like to be reappearance in front of your eyes. Locals and tourists flocked this place together from all directions, dancing snakes, Aladdin, juggling clowns, fortune-tellers, stalls, exotic birds and all kinds of dazzling activities and performances. We came here in the afternoon, and the heavy rain suddenly poured in and made us run for hiding, the English good-hearted vendors opened the curtains to their shops and let us in to escape the rain, we also took out the mobile phones with us in to record the fun videos with them. Looking up and seeing the crowd on the rooftop of a cafe, I knew that it was a great location overlooking the largest open-air market in Africa. So I rushed to the rooftop, I have forgotten how much I paid to buy a bottle of Coke, and a bottle of mineral water and I went up to get a good photo of the view.
Desperado.

The Past and Present of Morocco's Sleepless Square
Morocco's Sleepless Square, also known as Djemaa el-Fna.
During the Alawite Dynasty, it was a place for executing prisoners, also known as the 'Square of the Beheaded'. Over time, it has evolved into an area where various traditional folk customs, arts, acrobatics, performances, and entertainment activities coexist with stalls and night markets.
Arabs, Berbers, and Saharans meet here; the city and the countryside meet here; the ancient and the modern converge here.
Standing in the square, I am the square, and I believe it has always been so.

Morocco and its Berbers
Morocco🇲🇦 third largest city Marrakech was founded in 1062 AD and has twice been the capital of the Moroccan dynasty of the Almoravids and the Almohads. In 1985, UNESCO listed the old city of Marrakech as a cultural heritage site on the World Heritage List.
Marrakech has the largest open-air market in Morocco and the most prosperous square in all of Africa, the Jemaa el-Fnaa. It is home to the Koutoubia Mosque, known as the 'Fragrant Minaret', the largest theological college in North Africa, the remains of the Seven Saints, the garden where YSL once lived, and the most authentic Moroccans...
The new city of Marrakech was built in 1913, with many European-style buildings, wide streets, and a modern atmosphere.
A city that you probably won't want to leave once you arrive.

Sleepless Square - Djemaa el Fna Square
Sleepless Square - Djemaa el Fna Square, located in Marrakech, Morocco, is the only square in the world that is still in use and listed as a World Cultural Heritage site, with a history of a thousand years... It is similar to a large agricultural trade market, not tall, fashionable and prosperous, but simple, lively and interesting! You can only see the hustle and bustle of people and the traffic, and almost all the people in the city spend their evenings here for leisure and consumption, hence the sleeplessness! The goods here are abundant, everything you need... The labyrinth-like streets and alleys in the market extend from the center of the square to the surroundings, it is because of this sleepless square that Marrakech, the Red City, has endless vitality!

It was only after going to Morocco that I realized
Recently, my best friend and I went to Morocco and discovered many interesting things. Let's summarize the experiences we gained in Morocco.
1, The cost of living in Morocco is really low, shopping will not be particularly heartbreaking
2, The Sahara Desert is a must-visit, but you really need to choose a better tent hotel, otherwise the bathing water is cold at night, sleeping is cold, and the overall experience drops a lot
3, The SIM card is directly picked up for free at the airport after landing, and you can use it directly after recharging data and call fees
4, Morocco uses European standard plugs
5, Online car-hailing in Morocco is illegal. If discovered, the driver will be beaten by taxi drivers
6, You must bargain when taking a taxi, it feels like the taxis here are all thieves
Expensive, if you don't bargain, you will really cry
7, Bring disposable toiletries, folding kettle
8, You must bargain when buying souvenirs, because they will deliberately call high prices when they see Chinese people
9, It is not cost-effective to exchange currency at the airport, it is recommended to go to the Chinese restaurant in the city
10, I think the tagine pot is quite delicious, but if you eat too much, you will get tired. If you are worried that you can't get used to the food here, you can bring some chili sauce or small dishes
11, If someone kindly shows you the way on the road, you must refuse, because there will be tips in the end
12, The weather in Morocco in December is very good, it is sunny during the day, and you can wear a piece of clothing when the sun is out, but the temperature difference between morning and evening is huge, it's very cold, you still need to bring some thicker clothes
13, Don't think about coming to Morocco for special forces travel, because it's very tiring. The distance between each attraction is very far, and the time spent in the car every day is very long. If someone tells you that you can run through the whole of Morocco in 4 or 5 days
, then this travel agency must be irresponsible
14, The sleepless square is very lively, with various street performances, especially snake playing, scary, and a variety of delicious snacks
15, Fez is really a maze city, without a guide, it is difficult to move in it

Marrakech City Tour😍🤩😎
#timetotravel Visiting Marrakech’s old city was like stepping into a colorful and lively world from the past. The busy markets, bright colors, and detailed buildings made it really cool. Walking around the narrow streets was fun, and I liked seeing Jemaa el-Fnaa square and the hidden riads. There were so many interesting things to buy in the markets like spices and fabrics. Learning about the history of the old walls was cool too. Marrakech’s old city is full of exciting things to see and experience. The sunset here was something else. I never shared my hotel so I thought I’ll add it here as my trip ends here.

Many peoples first impression of Morocco is to stay in Marrakech. This is really not a good start. The whole society lacks rules and regulations, unified control, price confusion, may be More and more visitors from Morocco are spoiled. Here, not only must you be careful when shopping, but you should pay attention to your photos. If you don't pay attention, you will be charged a photo fee. The price depends on the boss's price.
A Moroccan friend said that if you buy something in Morocco and don't bargain, the merchant will think that you don't respect him and probably won't sell it to you. So pot y friends, come here, cheeky to kill the price! Cut the slash! Its true that its basically a third of the asking price.
Standing in the center of the square, surrounded by hundreds of stalls, surrounded by dense three- and four-storey restaurants, the 77-meter red summoning tower of the Koutoubia Grand Mosque can be used as a road sign. Can avoid getting lost. People of all skin colors, costumes and languages speak out, and through the crowd, you can see folk juggling and artists playing traditional Moroccan instruments.
Dejima Square is located in the heart of Marrakech's Old Town and has always been lively until it becomes today's Net Red. As early as the 12th century, this public square, once used by the rulers to beheaded to consolidate power, slowly attracted more and more tribes to exchange goods. They came from the surrounding mountains and deserts. This makes it the largest trading hub in Africa.
Amazing people, bright lights, colorful fruit stalls, snail soup, enchanting dance snakes, flashing lights, smokey barbecues, and a wide range of goods, from bags, shoes, perfumes To painting, jewellery, ceramics, etc., everything seems to be a combination of all the exotic Arab flavors, a cup of sweet and refreshing mint tea, a bowl of hot snail soup, into the sea.

Marrakech is Berber, meaning "red color", because the walls of the year were made of crimson rock and have been basically preserved so far. Strolling along the red walls of the Old Town, the sights in front of you seem to make people return to the distant medieval era. The citys Djema Square is located within the Arab settlement of Marrakech and was listed as a World Heritage Site in 2001. As early as the 12th century, Djema Plaza was only the execution square of Marrakech. In the 16th century, the commercial activities on the square gradually became active. In the 17th century, it became a famous folk performance venue. Continued. During the day, the square as an attraction is very noisy, gathering various kinds of juggling performances such as dancing snakes, fire-breathing, storytelling and fortune-telling, as well as vendors selling all kinds of handicrafts, juices, cakes, and Henna tattoos. The squares are full of shoulders and rumors. . However, the real features need to wait until the evening, the center of the square to support a number of night market stalls, white smoke mixed with spices fragrance in the air, the square has instantly become a food paradise for foodies. You can go to the caf on the side of the square with a terrace overlooking the square. The panoramic view of the photographable square
Whether it is the prosperity of the whole city, the spiritual outlook of the local residents, or the atmosphere of the night market, is full of vitality. The night market is extremely lively. From the dawn of the night, all kinds of shops will continue to light up, there are selling, there are selling handicrafts, there are selling clothes, we have traveled a few streets. Its such a noisy scene, full of life.

Marrakech Jemafna Square, this is the square that has remained unchanged for a thousand years. The hero of the Arabian Nights should have seen the monkeys here. It is open 24 hours a day, and the carnival never stops. After the night falls, it is The essence of this place, the minaret not far away lights up, the retro carriage is slamming, and the Gemma Fna Square is still the look of the storybook, and there may be only a flying carpet floating in the sky.
In addition to visiting the photo, we are still carrying the task of buying a hand letter. It is right to solve the handwritten letter once at Gemma Fna Square. Everything you want to buy is here!
Want to buy everything: beautiful stained glass lamps, colorful plates and taki, colorful spices, various olives ~

The square is located in the old town of Marrakech and is both a civic plaza and a market. Because every night falls, it is full of fun, various restaurants and stalls fill the entire square, snakes and various traditional performances attract many tourists, and there are some two or three-story buildings around the square as restaurants or coffee bars. . Not far from the square is the Koutoubia Mosque, which can be seen. Therefore, the entire square area is full of a long Islamic atmosphere. The name of the square may mean the mosque at the end of the world, but a more credible explanation is that there is a large open space and a large plaza in front of the mosque.
