I went to Jianlong Mountain in Tiandeng County, Chongzuo, Guangxi.
🚶🏻♀️I went to Jianlong Mountain in Tiandeng County, Chongzuo, Guangxi, and explored a 2 km small loop (Peak 3 → Peak 2 → Peak 1), which took about 1 hour and 30 minutes, of which the app recorded 46 minutes of moving time, and 44 minutes of taking photos, enjoying the scenery, and cheering. 🥳
Specific route:
📍Navigate to [Jianlong Mountain Parking Lot]. When you are about to reach the destination, there is a sign showing [Yongle Parking Lot]. This is the place!
🅿️Parking fee is CNY 20 per car. Drive the car directly to the parking lot at the 🚻 restroom door, and start climbing after you are ready!
⛰️Start from the No. 2 entrance (the last picture), walk along a long flat road, and then enter the main part: continuous climbing. After a while, you can see Fuman Reservoir when you look back. → When you reach the fork in the middle of the mountain, choose the right route to continue climbing to the Peak 3 viewing platform. → Rest and take beautiful photos (view from picture 5), and continue forward. This section of the road is narrow and steep, so be sure to watch your step. There are iron chains to hold on to when passing the cliff section, which is a challenge for people with acrophobia (pictures 7 and 8). → After reaching the Peak 2 viewing platform, continue downhill to reach the Peak 1 viewing platform.
🔁The advantage of this small loop is that you can finish all the climbing sections before reaching the first Peak 3 viewing platform. The rest of the route is along the ridge and downhill, which is relatively easy, and you don't have to go back.
The disadvantage is that you don't have the chance to pass the Peak 5 viewing platform, which is said to be the closest to the reservoir.
⭐It is more suitable for those who are short on time or want to climb the mountain after 3 pm to watch the sunset and then go down the mountain.

You can directly navigate to 'Jianlong Mountain Parking Lot' by self-driving, which takes about 3 hours from Nanning to the foot of the mountain. No entrance ticket is required, and the parking fee at the foot of the mountain is 20 yuan per car.
There are signposts at the parking lot, and it takes about half an hour to reach the top of the mountain. The scenic area is vast, with many peaks to choose from for a circular hike, or you can retreat to the parking lot halfway down the stairs on the left after reaching the summit.

Jianlong Mountain, I won't come again.
This hike was the steepest mountain I've ever climbed, almost crawling on hands and knees, with the slope being a sheer 70 to 80 degrees, it felt more like rock climbing than hiking. Below are two routes I've organized for reference only.
Route 1: Navigate to Lighthouse Village and park in front of the Lighthouse Cultural Room, where you'll see many small colorful flags hanging. Just follow them up the mountain. This route is quite steep, so if you're a beginner, proceed with caution, or consider taking the easier Route 2.
Route 2: Navigate to Lighthouse Village, pass the Lighthouse Cultural Room and drive a few hundred meters further until you see the slope at Huan Tun, where there's also a small parking lot. After parking, follow the many blue trail signs up the mountain. It's very convenient, and importantly, this path is much easier to walk, which is perfect for beginners like me.
Thumbs up to the village committee, Jianlong Mountain has become so popular recently but the parking lot hasn't been fenced off to charge money, parking is completely free, and the villagers have opened several trails, making it more suitable for hiking.
Ps: The light at the summit was so good that the photos were almost taken blindly, and when I got back, there were only a few usable ones.

It takes about 30 minutes to reach the summit😉 Hurry up and save it!
🚘1. Navigate to the 'lighthouse' located in Tiandeng County, Chongzuo City, at Lighthouse Village. It's a two and a half hour drive from Nanning to the parking spot. Jilong Mountain is an undeveloped scenic area, currently free of admission, and parking is also free.
➡️2. The parking spot is at the Lighthouse Cultural Room, Party Mass Service Center, and there are toilets! There are no toilets on the mountain, remember.
➡️3. There are road signs and arrows on the mountain, just keep walking up the mountain. The path is already marked with colored flags.
➡️4. Starting from the foot of the mountain, it takes about half an hour to reach the middle of Jilong Mountain. 1⃣️Two-thirds of the journey involves climbing, mainly steep ascents where you rely on grabbing rocks and moving up step by step, using both hands and feet (don't look back, it's really steep!! Hold onto your phone!)
It takes about 1 hour to reach the first peak, where you can see the most beautiful ridge line, which is very spectacular.
2⃣️Continue forward to the highest peak, quickly reaching the first descent point along the ridge, where those who are physically exhausted can descend to the trail from here➡️. It takes about 20 minutes.

✅ It takes 3 hours from Nanning to Ninggan Village, Tiandeng County, and about 2 kilometers further in, there will be a sign for Jianlong Mountain at the intersection. There is a P parking lot at the foot of the mountain, and there are villagers to guide the way!
The whole journey of Jianlong Mountain is about 7 kilometers. Because Jianlong Mountain is a wild mountain that has not been fully developed, the slope is very high at the beginning of the mountain, and those with acrophobia and unstable center of gravity should be careful. The whole journey requires gloves, and you need to climb up with your hands and feet. You need to be very careful when going up and down the slope. Walking along the ridge, there are cliffs on both sides. However, for me, it is not difficult to go up the mountain, the most difficult thing is to go down the mountain,! The first half has been downhill, bring gloves and slowly climb down the grass, the second half is all high shrubs, for my walking route, the way down the mountain passes through the Fuman Reservoir, the scenery is very good!
✅ Required equipment: hat, sunscreen mask (you will eat a lot of dust when climbing), long clothes and trousers (try to prepare a set of clothes, the clothes are soaked in sweat all the way down in hot weather), climbing shoes (essential), gloves, climbing sticks (can effectively reduce the pressure on the knee in the second half of the downhill)

When you get close to the destination, you will see the 'Sword Dragon Mountain Parking Lot' sign indicating to take another left turn at the fork (relatively steeper to climb), continue driving according to the navigation destination, and park at the 'Party Mass Service Center'.
②From the parking lot, follow a very clear (colorful flags fluttering all the way) easy path up the mountain to the 'mountain depression', which only takes about 20 minutes, from the 'mountain depression' continue to walk left for about ten minutes to reach the highest peak (the first picture was taken here)
If you are just taking pictures, you can return the same way from the 'highest peak'. This is the most recent and easiest route, it is recommended for inexperienced outdoor players to take this route back and forth, don't be too hard on yourself!
