Yuan Chonghuan Memorial Hall.
During the Tianqi period of the Ming Dynasty, Ningyuan City welcomed its new commander, Yuan Chonghuan, a famous general of the late Ming Dynasty. During his time in Ningyuan, Yuan Chonghuan won the Ningyuan and Ningjin victories, allowing the crumbling Ming Dynasty to continue for nearly 20 years. Under the conspiracy of the Jin Dynasty, Emperor Chongzhen believed in slander and determined that Yuan Chonghuan had private communication with the enemy. Yuan Chonghuan was then executed by Ling Chi, and the famous general died with hatred. More than 10 years later, the Ming Dynasty also hurriedly left the historical stage.
