Xishuangbanna built a Truman's World
Because the Dai Ethnic Garden is far from the city, we booked a hotel close to the Dai Ethnic Garden in advance, so we could spend a whole day there the next day. However, we were stunned by the hotel's environment upon arrival.
Under the cover of a huge canopy, a unique fantasy dreamscape of Xishuangbanna was created in the form of an art installation. Tall steel structures, hollow Dai-style roofs, and a massive swimming pool together form this grand installation artwork.
Hidden next to the Xishuangbanna Dai Ethnic Garden, a Dai village built with stilt-style architecture and rare tropical plants, it feels like Truman's World, temporarily disconnected from the outside. Outside, there are storms and sun exposure, but here, under the protection of the canopy, it is always sunny and peaceful.
The designer thoughtfully provided shelter from wind and rain in every corridor you pass through. While others were taking shelter under the eaves, I was enjoying the scenery in the pouring rain without any worries.
Meticulous service, comfortable rooms, if I were Truman, I would rather hide in this little world protected by surprises.
🏨 Xishuangbanna Jinghong Golan Garden Resort Hotel
❤️ Less than 1km from the Dai Ethnic Garden, reachable by foot
🍲 For the first time, I tasted fresh butterfly pea flowers at the hotel. I used to see them used for food coloring in Thailand, but I didn't expect they could be eaten directly.

I suggest choosing a resort hotel for Staycation on the first day of landing

The swimming pool, bar, and fitness area are surrounded by green plants
🚖The hotel has pick-up and drop-off services and one-on-one butler service
Don't worry about the inconvenience of transportation due to the remote location, you can also understand the hotel background and local characteristics with the butler. The service staff in the hotel will greet you with a warm smile
😺The experience is so good that it is included in my life hotel!

The Golan Hotel in the Secret Garden of Xishuangbanna is so comfortable
1. This time, the Golan Garden Hotel, located at the back gate of the Dai Ethnic Garden in Ganlanba, meets all your expectations of Xishuangbanna. The environment is amazing.
Walking into the hotel, the first thing that catches your eye is the corridor full of design sense. The front desk is a fully wooden Dai-style building, with the hotel's name carved in Dai script on the roof, creating a full atmosphere. The room
2. The large area of white and wood, combined with bamboo decorations, gives a very clean and Zen-like first impression. Each room has a tea table where you can brew a pot of Pu'er tea. The facilities
include a huge swimming pool for swimming and playing, a Dai-style gym, a tatami Dai-style lounge area, and a meeting room that can accommodate nearly 20 people. The food
3. The hotel's restaurant has been tried for you, and it's really good. The prices are very reasonable, offering a 5-star experience at a public consumption level. The buffet breakfast included in the room is also very rich.
4. Every morning at 10 o'clock, there is a performance of ethnic songs and dances.
If you are interested, you can participate. When the hotel's lights come on at night, it's another beautiful scene. Play
I highly recommend this place to friends traveling to Xishuangbanna. You can spend at least one day here, and I've even planned a one-day tour route for you. Check in at the hotel at noon, have lunch at the restaurant, play with water in the Dai Ethnic Garden in the afternoon, and have a barbecue at the tofu stall in Ganlanba town, which is very popular among locals.

Xishuangbanna Hotel Recommendations | Itinerary Recommendations Included
| Itinerary Recommendations Included. Last time I stayed in Xishuangbanna for half a month and basically played everywhere.
This time, the main purpose is to go hiking in Jino Mountain.
It has been raining since I arrived in Banna, so I found a hotel to relax.
.
The Dai-style ambiance is very strong, with a swimming pool, gym, and café.
The whole house is smart, the room is clean, and the details are impeccable.
The toiletries are all sealed disposable items, which is very reassuring.
The breakfast variety is abundant, and since I was in a hurry, the staff thoughtfully packed some fruits for me (big thumbs up).
.
⭐ Itinerary Recommendations
✔ Banna Market/Farmers Market/Fabric Market (must-go)
✔ Starlight Night Market/Riverside Night Market (optional)
✔ General Buddhist Temple/Prajna Temple (must-go)
✔ Manting Park/Chinese Academy of Sciences Botanical Garden (optional)
✔ Jino Mountain Hiking (must-go in non-rainy season)
.
My current travel style is more relaxed and spontaneous.
I no longer rush to catch up with itineraries or feel disappointed if a place isn't great. I no longer pursue the "must-visit in this lifetime" or "since I'm here" or "photo-worthy" spots.
.
I prefer to immerse myself more deeply in the local culture, visit markets, chat with local grandmas, and experience the local customs and scenery.

Banna, it's not an exaggeration to say this place is a paradise on earth
This weekend, I stayed in a secluded Dai bamboo house
Surrounded by greenery, far from the hustle and bustle of the world
Here, I reconnected my body and mind with nature
Spent two days like a fairy tale~
Every detail of the homestay incorporates Dai elements
While combining modern Zen
Inheriting traditional culture
Without losing the comfort and convenience of modern life
Enjoy sunbathing at the scenic pool
Savor a pot of good tea in the Dai-style tea room
A comprehensive vacation experience that allows both body and mind to relax completely.
As night falls, everything is silent, and the sky presents a stunning sunset
The unique romance of the Banna rainforest is also the poetry and distant place in my heart.
Tips:
It's only a few hundred meters away from the Dai Ethnic Garden, very convenient
It's also close to the Ganlanba market, you can go there on Saturday
Experience the Dai market!!!
