Budget travelers will cry tears of joy, staying at this hotel in Jinhua is a must!
Upon entering the hotel, you are greeted by the concierge desk on the first floor, then take the elevator to the 27th floor for the reception lobby, lobby bar, and restaurant.
Check-in at the front desk is quick, and my room was upgraded to a corner room which is slightly larger. I was informed that the executive lounge was not open that day, but drinks could be obtained from the lobby bar, and happy hour was held in the restaurant.
The hotel's swimming pool and gym are on the 43rd floor. Overall, the pool is quite large and not crowded. I had a good swim in the afternoon, practically having the place to myself, which was really nice. The gym equipment thoughtfully had towels and mineral water placed on them, which is also commendable.
Because it's a corner room, I could enjoy the view from both sides. The room was bathed in sunlight during the day, and the temperature had to be regulated with air conditioning. At night, I felt comfortable even with the air conditioning turned off.
Happy hour at the restaurant was quite good, with a nice selection including freshly cooked noodles by an auntie on-site. The overall taste was great, and leaving full was definitely not an issue. There's also a mall downstairs and a Wanda Plaza not far away, both good options for dining.
Overall, the hotel is relatively new, the room service staff are very friendly, the front desk processes things quickly, and the restaurant's offerings are tasty. It's worth considering as a place to stay when visiting Jinhua.

Is the Marriott Hotel in Jinhua worth staying at?
Jinhua Marriott is the tallest building in Jinhua and its location is also in the center of Jinhua city. It is adjacent to the Chinese Wuyue Opera Museum, and nearby attractions include the Wanfo Temple and the Wuzhou Ancient City Scenic Area.
The hotel opened in 2021, so it's very new. After entering from the first floor, you need to take the elevator to the sky lobby on the 27th floor, and then switch to another elevator to go to the guest room. This time, we were upgraded to a popular internet celebrity corner room with floor-to-ceiling windows on two sides, unbeatable scenery, a very large room area, and a bathtub by the window, where you can enjoy the view outside while soaking in the bath.
The executive lounge is on the 41st floor. I went to experience HH at night. The dishes were very rich. There was even horseweed in the cold dishes. There were stir-fried clams, grilled fish, fried chicken, and freshly made noodle soup in the hot dishes. Eating delicious food while enjoying the beautiful night view of Jinhua was so leisurely.
The swimming pool and gym are both on the 43rd floor. The pool is large and infinity, with few swimmers. The gym mainly has aerobic equipment and also faces the window with beautiful scenery. When leaving, I discovered there was also a children's club. It's clear that this hotel has put a lot of effort into the family aspect.
On weekends and holidays, the JW Marriott in Jinhua is very suitable for family outings and couples' visits. However, when we were taking photos in the lobby on the first floor, we were told by the concierge staff that the hotel management prohibits taking photos in the lobby, which strongly prevented us from taking pictures of the lobby decorations. We didn't quite understand, but we didn't continue taking photos and left.
