Chengdu Travel Guide | Three Days and Two Nights Don't Miss Chengdu's Cuisine
๐ฃThe Land of Abundance, Chengdu, with its food bonus, is unforgettable. Stroll through the Wide and Narrow Alleys during the day to experience the rich tea culture of Chengdu, and at night, take a look at Jiuyan Bridge, or sit at the entrance of a small tavern to listen to the sounds of Chengdu
๐ฃDu Fu Thatched Cottage fulfills a dream of pastoral retreat, with its classical Chinese garden of thatched cottages and ponds. The retreat buff is stacked high, envying Du Fu's life
๐ฃImmerse yourself in local life, wander around Baihuatan Park, eat local skewers, hotpot, and other delicacies. At night, Jinli Ancient Street brings the atmosphere of Chengdu to its peak, while Chunxi Road contrasts with Jinli, clearly delineating the past from the present
๐Detailed Address | Chengdu City, Sichuan Province
๐Business Hours | Open 24 hours
โณRecommended Play Time | Suggest 3 days and 2 nights
๐ฐAverage Spending | About 1000 RMB per person
๐Itinerary |
โ Chengdu - Wide and Narrow Alleys - Chengdu Hotpot - Chunxi Road - Tavern
โ Du Fu Thatched Cottage - Baihuatan Park - Chengdu Skewers - Jinli - Jiuyan Bridge
๐The Wide and Narrow Alleys, as the name suggests, consist of parallel Wide Alley, Narrow Alley, and Well Alley. This is an ancient Qing Dynasty street left in Chengdu, with more than 70 courtyards and over 300 rooms, filled with the scent of hotpot and the aroma of tea in the air
๐Du Fu lived in the Thatched Cottage for four years, with babbling streams, thatched cottages sheltering from wind and rain, red walls and bamboo groves, both simple and elegant as well as quiet and serene. Later, the Thatched Cottage was repeatedly restored and abandoned, and the 'Thousand Ridges Thatched Cottage' stele pavilion witnessed Du Fu's life in Chengdu
๐Jinli Ancient Street is a must-visit in Chengdu, with its Three Kingdoms culture and Sichuan folk culture. The ancient opera stage, Nine-Rank Snack Street, and folk memory wall here leave a deep impression, immersing visitors in the life of Chengdu
๐Jiuyan Bridge is one of the must-visit spots for Chengdu's night view, with its stone railings and large arched stone bridge surface. The bridge has nine holes, hence the name Jiuyan Bridge. It is also a 'bar street' popular among young people, where you can enjoy the night view and listen to music
๐In the past, Zhao Lei's song 'Chengdu' became popular throughout the country. Walking through the streets of Chengdu, to the end of Yulin Road, sitting at the entrance of a small tavern. Only by coming to the tavern in person do you realize that in Chengdu there is only Yulin South Road and Yulin North Road, no Yulin Road. The tavern is small, crowded, and indeed, you can only sit at the entrance. I came to Chengdu because of 'Chengdu', what brought you here?

Jinli Street, Chengdu
Jinli Pedestrian Street ๐จ๐ณ
๐This pedestrian street is an ancient street since the Qing Dynasty. In the past, it was the largest silk factory in China. During the Three Kingdoms period, it was considered a very important and lively place for trading silk and various handicrafts. But now it has been transformed into a shopping street, a food source, and a photo spot with a classic and ancient atmosphere that blends perfectly with modern tourism. It is beautiful and simulates the theme of the Three Kingdoms. The market is 500 meters long and is located next to Wuhouci Temple. There is no entrance fee. At the beginning of the alley, there are souvenirs and handicrafts. Next, there is a tea cafe. And at the deepest part is Sichuan-style street food.
Although it has been transformed into a major tourist attraction in Chengdu, anyone who comes to this city must visit this ancient street. But this place still preserves the ancient atmosphere very well. There are small shops along the way. In addition to food, there are also stalls displaying various handicrafts. Let's enjoy shopping for souvenirs, bookstores, bars, live music bars, coffee shops, opera houses, everything is here.
๐ฅข Talking about food, there are a lot of them here, more and more delicious than Kuanzhai Walking Street. There are food shops along both sides of the road. Some are tasty and some are not. It's a gamble. 555... The recommended things that I think are tasty for Thais like us are chicken wings stuffed with sticky rice, squid with sauce, and grilled spicy pork. ๐ข๐ก๐บโ
In conclusion, this place is suitable for shoppers, foodies, and culture lovers. It's all here. If you come to Chengdu and don't come here, you'll miss out! โ
๐ Travel: Take the MRT from Chunxi Station, Line 3, get off at Gaoshengqiao Station, exit D, exit the station and walk along the road for about 1 km. You will reach Jinli. Or if you want convenience, take a taxi for no more than 20 yuan from Chunxi Road

Ancient Pedestrian Street 'Jin Li' ๐ฎ๐จ๐ณ
๐ Jin Li Lu, Wuhou, Chengdu, China
๐ฎ When in Rome, do as the Romans do. We must eat the food of that city in every city, right? This is the place that will satisfy those who want to eat many things in small quantities, "Jin Li Ancient Pedestrian Street" where we will find delicious local food and many shops.
๐ฎ We intended to have lunch here because there are many types of food to choose from, both savory and sweet. You can walk and eat or there are restaurants with seats inside.
๐ฎ The pedestrian street here still preserves the beauty of the old buildings and is decorated to look like an ancient Chinese city (if you often watch ancient Chinese movies, you should be able to imagine it). This place doesn't only have food. There are also souvenir shops, tea shops, and interestingly, there is a Sichuan Opera Theater here. You can visit one place and get everything. ๐
๐ฎ Even though this is an ancient pedestrian street, there are shops from famous brands such as Starbucks, Dairyqueen, Panda house, but they still maintain the old style to blend in with this street. The atmosphere here is very good. It's like being transported back to the old days ๐ฅฐ
๐ฎ Opening hours: Every day 09:00-22:00 (except for bars) The lights here will start to turn on from 20:00 onwards (depending on the day)

GREY RODRIQUEZ
Chengdu three-day two-night free trip, hurry up and copy homework!
ChengduยทSichuan, this city is irresistible. When you feel tired, you must come to Chengdu once and experience its slow life.
Transportation:
The scenic spots in Chengdu are very concentrated, and there are only a few stations between the subway stations. Moreover, each scenic spot has a bus that can be taken, which is very convenient. If you take the subway or bus, you just need to download an app called 'Tianfu Tong'.
Accommodation:
It is recommended to choose to live near Chunxi Road Taikoo Li, because it is very convenient to go anywhere.
Must-visit attractions:
'Wuhou Temple'
Here is the most beautiful red wall, friends who are obsessed with the Three Kingdoms must not miss it. Whether you take photos casually๐ท or play the characters of the Three Kingdoms, this is an excellent background.
'Kuanzhai Alley'
This is an ancient alley that literary and artistic youths must check in. I used to think that Kuanzhai Alley was a street name, until I came to Chengdu to discover that it actually includes a wide alley and a narrow alley. Although there is a strong commercial atmosphere here, it is definitely a good place for sightseeing. Having a cup of coffeeโ๏ธ here and spending an afternoon will be a very comfortable experience.
'Jinli'
The night view๐ is very beautiful at night, as if you have traveled to the scene of the ancient New Year's lantern festival, it is very lively. There are many stages, small bars and resident singers๐ค inside, giving people a unique atmosphere.
'Chunxi Road/Taikoo Li'
This is a gathering place for fashion trendsetters, and there are really many beauties. Be sure to take a photo with the giant panda at ifs๐ฌ.
'Giant Panda Breeding Base/Chengdu Zoo'
It is a good choice for friends who like animals. Although general foreign tourists will choose the panda breeding base, the city zoo is also very good. In addition to the cute pandas๐ผ, there are many other animals waiting for your exploration.
'Jiuyan Bridge'
A good place for a walk๐ถ at night, the night view here is very beautiful, making people feel peaceful. Taking a walk here is a good choice.
'Qingcheng Mountain'
Ticket๐ซ80/person, cable car๐ one-way/35 person. Located outside Chengdu city, it takes a whole day to play. This is the famous place where the story of Bai Suzhen and Xu Xian took place, with beautiful scenery. The tour time is not long, about half a day, so you can return to Dujiangyan District to find food.
'Dujiangyan'
Ticket๐ซ80/person Sightseeing car10/person. This is not only a world-famous water conservancy project, but also a beautiful scenic spot. You can take the 101 bus from Qingcheng Mountain to Lidui Park Station, about an hour's drive.
Must-eat delicacies:
I am very longing for Chengdu's food. However, although we stayed there for a few days, we still didn't eat a lot of delicious food. Recommend Chengdu's hot pot๐ฒ, spicy hot pot, sugar oil fruit/red sugar glutinous rice cake, Chengdu ice powder/tofu pudding and bobo chicken๐.
Play small tips:
The airport has a direct bus to the city, and you can reach the city center for only 10 yuan.
If you want to taste delicious hot pot๐ฒ, Chengdu's small shops can satisfy your taste, no need to go to expensive big shops.
Chengdu's famous bar street 339 is an excellent choice for drinking๐บ.

Jinli Ancient Street
Whenever I go China, I like to visit the ancient street as it allows us to experience the local culture. The street is mixed with ancient and modern atmosphere. Thus, when I was in Chengdu China, I took the chance to go Jinli Ancient Street. Like most ancient streets, there were many nice food and also got the beautiful historical buildings and streets. The highlight for me was that I got to attend a show featuring tea pouring, masks change art etc.

Authentic Chengdu Culture on Jinli Ancient Street
From the moment we entered 231 Wuhouci Avenue, Wuhou, #chengdu, we could feel the Chengdu spirit. My daughters tried on Xifu #costumes and #makeup used in the #pekingopera for only 200 yuan. We got 5 photos in the price. It was amazing to see the finished product ๐๐.
Highlight - The street was lively and calming at the same time . It wasn't too much to make us tired, but just enough to keep us entertained. There were lots of shops work traditional goods and food items to make us enjoy the true Chengdu spirit. The pineapple ๐ rice ๐ was my favorite treat. I'll try to make it when I go home.
#hotelstay is convenient. I saw two hotels just outside the gate: The #Jinlan hotel and the #Ruixin hotel.
Price: It's free to entire, but take money to add to your experience. We bought traditional musical instruments and lots of food, and they weren't expensive. You might also want to do the Xifu costume or watch the peking opera with #facechanging act.
Rating - ๐ฏ๐ช. Add it to your bucket ๐ชฃ list ๐

Jinli Street in Chengdu
The most famous pedestrian street in Chengdu. It represents the historical view of the city. Narrow streets in old Chinese style are full of interesting things and activities! Cafes, restaurants, shops, street food carts, art galleries and Sichuan Opera theaters. Every corner here is a natural photo location.
โ The best time to come here is evening. Before the sunset. In this case you will catch different images of this area. In the evening all the Chinese lanterns work and create a special atmosphere.

Jinli Street is a popular commercial pedestrian area in Chengdu. It was built in the style of the late Qing and early Republic. This street is characterized by Three Kingdoms culture and Sichuan tradition, and its layout is neat. The areas containing bars and entertainment, Sichuan cuisine and snacks, the mansion house hotel, and unique handicrafts for sale are arranged in a haphazard yet charming manner.

Jinni ancient Street. During my trip I also have visited this walking street. In fact, I'm always visiting walking streets in every city I'm coming. It helps to feel locals.
Here everything is typical for regular walking street. Snacks, gift shops, species, thousand of people, everything is there. Buildings are beautiful, some food is tasty, some food is spicy or has too much oil. Well, can spend about half of an hour there.

Jinli in Chengdu, home to food, art, entertainment, trinkets, and most of all atmosphere. Many artists work away at their crafts, commissioned by onlooking tourists to engrave designs onto jade eggs, cut out clientโs silhouettes, and draw their portraits. Food artisans grind sichuan peppers into fresh chilli sauce and pull sugar until it becomes dragonโs beard candy. Thereโs music and street food and ear cleanings galore.

Zhao Leis "Chengdu" makes you fall in love with this city. Many people travel to Chengdu in two places that must go. One is the wide and narrow alley, the other is Jinli. The former Jinli legend is the history of Xiqiao. One of the oldest and most commercial streets, it was famous all over the country during the Qin and Han Dynasties. Today's Jinli, which is in the middle of the city, is inevitably becoming a very commercial atmosphere. It is more suitable for snacks. However, I want to experience a variety of foods in Chengdu one day, which is very convenient in Jinli. Jinli and Wuhou Temple are separated by a wall. It is the oldest street in Chengdu and a famous commercial pedestrian street in Chengdu. Although there are a lot of tourists, the street in Jinli is very clean. In Jinli, there is always a place where you can dream. Compared with many man-made landscapes of old bottles and new wines in China, Jinli is completely grassroots, native and homely. In Jinli, this street condenses the essence of Chengdu, whether it is a tea house, a restaurant, a hotel, an inn, a bar, or a specialty store. It fully demonstrates the unique charm of the Three Kingdoms culture and the folk customs of Sichuan, compared to Kuanzhai Alley. Jinli is also very worthwhile to go. In general, the snacks on Jinli Street are authentic and affordable. You must not forget to come to Jinli.

Jinli is a very traditional antique street in Chengdu. Because it is adjacent to Wuhou Temple, it has a strong flavor of the Three Kingdoms. It is very lively all year round. Whenever you come here, there are bustling crowds of people, the mix of people from outside the country, the smell of Chengdu snacks of various colors, the dazzling array of goods, the image of the Beijing opera dolls of the Three Kingdoms. The street performer who stood at the entrance of the teahouse, all of this in front of him constitutes the shuttle of Jinlis time and space.

Compared with the artificial landscape of many old bottled new wines in China, Jinli is completely grassroots, local and homely. Some of the items sold in the Jinli Jinli store are chopsticks, tea, lanterns, silk quilts and native products. You can also experience a variety of activities that have been circulated since ancient times.
The people of Chengdu are so relaxed and leisurely strolling around in Jinli, the nostalgic people have the emotion to export, and the people who love to eat satisfy the appetite. Jinli presents a scene of humanity.
Hundreds of wooden doors, thousands of stone roads. Roaming the hometown of Jin Guan, vying for the emblem of the prime minister. Shooting, brocade, inn, gongs, chasing after the ages; embroidery, bamboo, pawn shop, flower sedan
timetrees.
As early as in the Three Kingdoms, Chengdu Jinli has been a civilized part of the country. Today, it is the oldest street in the history of Xiqiao. Unlike other streets I have seen, this street is very different. The most impressive thing about the place is that there is a lot of food here. Many elements of the Three Kingdoms can be seen here. It is the Qingming Shanghe map of Chengdu.ย

Jinli Ancient Street
Jinli Ancient Street in Chengdu is a dreamlike place that transcends time and space, like a flowing historical scroll quietly unfolding in a corner of the bustling city. Walking on the bluestone road, every step echoes the sound of a thousand years, and every brick and tile tells an ancient story.
Here, there are not only ancient buildings but also a lively street life. In front of the snack stalls, the aroma of steaming food is irresistible, making people stop and taste the flavors passed down for centuries. In the old teahouse, a Sichuan opera face-changing performance instantly ignites the spark of culture, allowing people to feel the charm of traditional culture in amazement.
Jinli is also a place of intertwined emotions. Here, you can see the elderly leisurely basking in the sun, and children playing in the alleys, their innocence and harmony warming the heart. The craftsmen, with their skillful hands, turn the years into exquisite works of art, allowing people to feel the warmth of craftsmanship while admiring them.
Every visit to Jinli is like a spiritual baptism. Every plant, tree, brick, and stone here silently tells the history and culture of Chengdu, allowing people to find a piece of tranquility and beauty in the bustling city. Jinli is not just an ancient street; it is the soul of Chengdu, a touch of nostalgia in the hearts of countless people, and the place where touching stories happen, making people reluctant to leave.
