Street food city walk
In the western part of Singapore, you can find authentic local street food at the hawker centres and pop-up shops at Jurong Point mall! Directly connected to the Boon Lay train station, it is easy to access this shopping mall via public transport.
Located on level 3, you can find the food street Kopitiam and take your pick from the many stalls there! I went for the classic meatball noodles, it was cheap and tasty. I highly recommend coming with a group of friends or family so that you can order a variety and try a bit of everything.
During our visit, there was also a Food Feastival market happening in the atrium! Even more local snacks and bites like tutu kueh to indulge in.
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

CROLO by Swee Heng
#singapore
If you enjoying eating the bread and pastries from Swee Heng, you are in for a treat!
CROLO by Swee Heng serves croissants and croffles. You will be spoilt for choices when you stepped into the shop became that was what I felt when I first entered. As it was my first time there, I was overwhelmed with the variety of choices. Everything looks so good and I feel like getting everything.
I enjoyed the ones I bought especially those with fruits! it still taste delicious even though I kept it for a day!

Malaysia Themed Food
#singapore
I was early in Jurong Point and did not want to eat fast food so I had my branch at Malaysia Boleh which is essentially a Malaysia food themed food court.
With decorations that depicts road side stores in the country selling the various food specialties of the different cities in Malaysia.
I bought the small size Herbal Bao Ku Teh and a cup of Ipoh milk tea which to be honest taste nothing special but I wanted to try it rather than normal teh.
It was also fun sitting on “old school” tables and chairs without back rest. Which was what people in the past use in the streets.

A journey to the west and found the Chinese New Year decorations to be in Pokemon Theme. It's definitely a delight for pokemon fans and children where we can pose and take photo with the pokemon figures.
Jurong point is a shopping mall in the west where you can find many shops and eateries. The Korean supermarket, emart24, recently opens a branch there. Definitely dropping by again for more food and entertainment!

Putien Part I
#afternoontea
Putien is most famous for their fragrance, yet pretty light dishes. Their style of cooking is probably originated from southeast of Fujian, China. it is of Fujian cooking style and I love the freshness of the ingredients in their food. An all time food through the day.
Some of their must eat is their Fujian red mushroom lor mee. Personally, I love their Beehoon and their sweet and sour pork too.
They provide kids free with a plate of their own meal in very small portions. Looking forward to seeing more improvement to the outlook though.

Kopitiam Food Hall at Jurong Point
Kopitiam relaunched its new Kopitiam Food Hall @ Jurong Point outlet with a refreshing, garden dining experience. This is the first time I visited this newly renovated outlet. It has a unique day-night ambience, beautifully designed thematic dining spaces. The Food Hall was very crowded, and seats were limited, do expect long queues for most stalls. I like Kok Kee Wonton Noodle, CoCo Ichibanya Japanese Curry House, and Ah Ma Chi Mian.

Mother-In-Law Egg Tart 蛋塔人生
Address : 1 Jurong West Central 2, #03-41 Jurong Point, Singapore 648886
Opening Hours : 10.30am - 10pm
WHOOWHOO, one of my popular home based eggtart business during the Circuit Breaker finally open their 2nd outlets at Jurong Point just next to the newly renovated old wing Kopitiam. ( In case you unable to find it )
I would highly recommend their Yam & purple potato or Valrhona Dark Chocolate Raspberry. Love the combination along with their crispy crust. Talking about it, making me drool again.
Yam & Purple Potato
Paste was not too sweet, topped with ginko nuts, this combination will never goes wrong which young to elderly people will like it.
Valrhona Dark Chocolate Raspberry
The 66% dark chocolate was one of my favorite. A good choice for a sweet tooth like me as a snacks during lunch or after a meal.
They also come with a range of eggtart like
- Original
- Earl Grey Black Tea
- Crispy Layers Coffee
- Savoury Ham & Mushroom
- Crunchy Apple Cinnamon
Other than eggtarts, they do also sell in Set deals from $4 - $5.90 which comes along with a eggtart+ a drink.
So do head over to try it now.

Late night coffee cravings can now be possible thanks to the 24 hours Coffee Bean and Tea Leaves.
The Coffee Bean that I was in is situated at Jurong Point Level one, it is tucked at a quiet corner of the mall make it great for catching up with old friends that you haven’t seen for a while, having a serious business meeting or just here for the caffeine/dessert fix, this tiny coffeeshop is able to satisfy the situation whatever it might be, as it is not too loud and conducive enough for you to hold/host a meeting.
The Coffee Bean offers a whole assortment of items made available for purchase like Coffee, Tea, cakes as well as special events merchandise such as tumblers and mugs #moreinsg

Zoo/Cartoon animals fun rides outside Kiddy Palace
Address: 1 Jurong West Central 2, #02-50, Singapore 648886
Don’t forget the younger kids. Bring them to level 2 at Jurong Point and I am sure that they will love these animal rides. It is also permitted for one parent to ride on the animal ride with your kid. There is also a designated riding pathway indicated clearly on the ground. So the rider will just follow the arrows to make a round. There are various animals to choose from: tiger, cow, horse, elephant and the most popular ride is the unicorn.
It is also cheaper to buy a 4/8/12 rides package and you can use it over a period of time. Per ride is approximately 5 mins per ride. You can ride slowly to make your ride count.

UFO catcher arcade
Address: 1 Jurong West Central 2, Level 3, Singapore 648886
Another popular place with the children and students. This is a great place to train your UFO catching skills because there are so many machines with different difficulty levels. The prices here to play the UFO catcher games are reasonable and there is also promotion to receive more game credits if you use certain apps. In fact, this arcade is just right beside the cinema. So it is a great place to spend time playing before entering the cinema for a movie.
After spending time at Jurong Point, I can feel that the entire level 3 is full of gaming outlets. Both entertainment and eateries are just nearby each other. I am pretty sure the children will go wild here.

Kopitiam Food Hall
Address: 1 Jurong West Central 2, #03-42, Singapore 648886
I was going to come back here for lunch and to my surprise, this Kopitiam food court has been renovated. It is so much better looking and has more food choices too. I’m very happy to find a new place for lunch. It has many different cuisines and the decoration at this food court is so vibrant and cool. It uses many neon lighting and brightens the entire food court into a night market concept. This food court has a high ceiling with natural lighting coming in from the roof, an alfresco garden concept. By the way, even the competitive eater, Zermatt, was also at this food court doing his filming. There are many local/traditional/fusion dishes and also overseas favourite dishes such as thai-style braised pork leg rice.

Game Machines
#amusementpark
Game dispenser outside cinema
Address: 1 Jurong West Central 2, Level 3, Singapore 648886
Bring all your money to these game machines right outside Golden village Jurong Point. There are so many different types of game machines and you will have a hard time choosing which machine to play first.
Each machine has a label and it roughly indicates which items you will receive based on random. So it may not be so easy to collect the whole collection, otherwise you can try to trade it with the others who are also playing.
During after school hours, this game area is crowded and it might become difficult to find your machine. So I will suggest that you come before lunchtime.

Kiztopia for the Westies
#amusementpark
Kiztopia Club @ Jurong Point
Address: 1 Jurong West Central 2, #03-18/19, Singapore 648886
There are plenty of indoor playgrounds for kids to play and these playgrounds will require an entry ticket. Do look at the Kiztopia annual pass and if it works for you, it is definitely better to get an annual pass. Besides the bigger playground at Marina Square, Kiztopia also has a few branches all over Singapore. This branch is at Jurong Point and it is easily accessible for the Westies because Boon Lay MRT is just right beside it. There are also many other activities for both the parents and children at Jurong Point. So there is no need to go all the way to the CBD/town area on a weekend.
Kiztopia at Jurong Point is designed like a spaceship and best suitable for kids under 10 years old. Kids will have to go through obstacles to complete their journey. It is recommended that you book a time slot if you are going on a weekend.

Yakun Family Cafe
Address: 1 Jurong West Central 2, #02-K1/K2 Jurong Point, Singapore 648886
If you are looking for some local toasted white bread with a cup of coffee/tea, do try out Yakun Family cafe. They are serving local and traditional kaya/butter toast with coffee/tea and they have many branches in various shopping centres. It is also air-conditioned so there is no need to worry about being hot and stuffy. They are still using the long sock to make coffee in a traditional way. These socks are in fact a cloth filter so the barista will need to keep filtering the coffee powder through the socks. Also, they charcoal grill their toast and it gives a crispy taste to their thinly sliced bread too. You will definitely feel like you have teleported back to the 80s through this kopitiam culture. I will recommend you to take their toast set which comes with 2 boiled eggs and a cup of coffee.tea served with their crispy toast.

Ahtti Korean Restaurant - Chili Padi Fried Ch
#wheretogo
Finally a proper Korean restaurant in the West! Ahtti Korean is Vision Exchange and easily accessible by MRT and alight Jurong East station.
They serve delicious Korean food that's definitely worth it. My favorites from this restaurant include the fried chicken, army stew, seafood stew, and kimchi pancake. The pancake is fluffy and crispy. Do visit at off-peak hours if possible as there's not a lot of seats inside the restaurant. Definitely recommend.#foodie #singaporefun

Crolo Bakery by Swee Heng
This new bakery at Jurong Point 2 is a new concept bakery by Sweet Heng. Swee Heng is a long established traditional bakery in Singapore with many stores across Singapore.
Crolo's offering is very different from those by Sweet Heng, probably intentionally to differentiate itself and to attract a younger clientele. The buns and pastry in Crolo are very nicely baked with unique flavours and very tasty.
Since opening, it has attracted not only the younger customers, even the older customers are also drawn by their bright and cheery shop front, new concept and tasty buns and pastry. Price wise it is slightly more expensive but definitely worth what you are getting.
Highly recommended

This new Jurong Point branch is right next to Boon Lay MRT Station, making it more convenient for those residing in the neighbourhood to get their Don Don Donki fix.Spacious and easy to navigate. Quite a wide selection of items to shop despite the space. The sushi is fresh, I really like the salmon love. The latest outlet also features Sen Sen Sushi, a made-to-order sushi kiosk that’s new to Don Don Donki Singapore. Hong Kong Street in Jurong Point 2
Does the picture look like hongkong street scene with all the neon lit billboards? This is actually the hongkong street located in Jurong Point 2 level 3.
The Mongkok themed area is one of the concept theme in Jurong Point mall. They also have a Japan food street located at basement 1.
The hongkong food street are lined with authentic hongkong cafe and restaurants like the famous Legendary Hong Kong Restaurant that draws long queue during weekend. Their congee, dim sum and pastry are truly legendary . If you are there also try the bbq meat at the shop next door. It is superb. Or pick your own ingredients and have a bowl of comforting trishaw noodle at another store further down the street.
I personally love the dim sum and congee at Legendary. My tips is to come on a weekday morning to avoid the crowd and immerse yourself in hongkong while you tuck in into the delicious 😋 food!
