It's similar to river tracing; for you safety, remember to get your own water shoes and long swimsuit to protect against abrasions. They'd come in handy when you go snorkelling as well!

Cebu is a fantastic island with many small villages to explore. It is one of Philippines’s bigges island. It is known worldwide for the Whaleshark watching and the Kawasan falls. You must walk in cebu city historic centre to enjoy the amazing architecture which combines modern and impressive buldings with traditional Spanish architecture. Walking on the streets is fun, there are many landmarks such as museums, parks and temples. I came to Cebu for a 10 days trip but I would recommend at least three weeks to travel all the way from the north to the south of the island. One of the most exciting experiences on Cebu island. We opted for a single day tour for 2 passengers. Kawasan Falls is one of the most beautiful waterfalls I’ve ever been. It’s located in the south of Cebu Island in the Philippines. It was the first time in my life I’ve done Canyoneering and the first time in my life I saw a waterfall with such clear and blue waters. Here’s my story of visiting Kawasan Falls as a solo traveler. I took a bus to the doorstep of Kawasan falls and proceeded to the tour agency, I was told since I was alone, I had to pay more and hire my own private guide, it cost me 1600PHP but it definitely worth it! I left all of my valuables at the agency, I only took some money and my phone in a waterproof case with me. I was given shoes 👟 , a life jacket and a helmet. Everybody there had to wear a life jacket and a helmet for safety reason since it can be deep at some spots and the rocks could fall on your head. Then 2 motorbikes brought me and my tour guide to the top of the Kawasan Falls and we stated to walk towards the top of the waterfall. Then I started walking down the waterfall, sometimes it was shallow, like a river stream, sometimes it was deep so I had to jump into the water from a small cliff to go forward. The first jump was kinda scary but then it became a lot of fun! I enjoyed having my private tour guide because I didn’t need to wait for anybody and could just move at my own speed. There is a BBQ snack place in the middle so I took a break and drank some water before continuing the journey. I was admiring the beauty, taking photos, jumping in the water and floating in a stream. It was a lot of fun and I even did 15meters jump at the bottom of the waterfall, my shoe flew off! luckily I found it 😆! The pathway back is very dark once the sun sets so its best to bring a flashlight. You should be extra careful in going down the slope especially the one descending from the second or third falls to avoid mishaps or accidents. The area is very crowded, very noisy, and underwhelming. All I can suggest to those who would like to come to the place; just go Canyoneering for you to really enjoy Kawasan Falls. The kawasan gorge upstream Kawasan is a well-known stream in Moalboal. There are countless waterfalls along the stream. Almost all the wading, after almost 6 hours of high cliffs Diving, swimming, hiking, and finally arriving at Kawasan Waterfall, take the bamboo raft to the bottom of the waterfall and feel the powerful water mass. When you reach the waterfall, you will be given lunch. You can also freely move under the waterfall. The upstream store will provide quick-drying (sunscreen) clothing, helmets and shoes, but their shoes are relatively bad. It is recommended to wear your own upstream shoes; the distance between several water flows is about 10 meters, and you must jump boldly and boldly. Small children's shoes pay attention. Kawasan Waterfall is about 18km away from Mobao Beach. At that time, we packed 6 people in a rushing bus to the upstream store for a total price of 1000 pesos.
