Tongcheng, Anhui Province, is a thousand-year-old city. This county-level city is small in size, but the cultural heritage is profound. Tongcheng Wenpai has been in the Qing Dynasty for more than 200 years. The Liujiu Lane in the city has also become a famous attraction because of the spirit of tolerance and courtesy. The town of Kong, 12 km from the city, still has an 1800-year-old street.
Kongcheng Old Street is very clean. This scenic spot is now under development and operation by Zhongkun Group. It belongs to the same group as Hongcun in Huangshan, Anhui Province, but the number of tourists is very different, with tickets for 60 yuan.
This old street is still very distinctive. During the Three Kingdoms period, Lu Meng of Wu State once built it here. In the Song Dynasty, Kongcheng has become one of the nine towns of Shuzhou, Huainan Road, and it was an important business in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Merchants and goods are gathered here.
Kongcheng Old Street is 2.2 kilometers long and is divided into ten groups along the way. The whole street is in the shape of S, running north and south, one main street, one horizontal street, the street width is about 4 meters, and there are seven lanes. Lanes, lanes, lanes are all paved with long strips of stone. During the reign of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty, Li Hongzhang, the governor of Zhili, sent people to set up a bank in the old street of Kongcheng. It was mainly to facilitate the exchange of old merchants and people's money, so it was called Li Hongzhang.
However, there are very few tourists here, and many shops along the street have not opened the door. It feels that there are more merchants than tourists.

Anhui Tongcheng is a great place to visit, with the quaint Kongcheng Old Street
Kongcheng Old Street is located in Kongcheng Town, Tongcheng City, Anhui Province, only 12 kilometers from the city center. In ancient times, this place was a crucial waterway junction, and during the Ming and Qing dynasties, it was bustling with merchants and extraordinary prosperity.
However, as time passed, the transportation advantage of Kongcheng Town gradually faded, and the old street slowly disappeared from people's view.
Despite this, we cannot deny the charm of Kongcheng Old Street. Walking on the old street is like traveling through time, back to the prosperous Ming and Qing dynasties.
The ancient buildings, bluestone paths, and mottled walls all exude a sense of history. Dressing up in Hanfu and taking photos here, one can truly feel a different kind of charm.
