Welcome to Kazakhstan🇰🇿
This is my first post in Trip.com and I would like to share my experience of traveling to Almaty region, Kazakhstan.
The 1st posture is taken in:
📍Address:Kolsay lake 🕰️Business Hours: the best time to visit is around 9:00-10:00 am at summer because it is quite busy after this time. Very beautiful lake in 3 hours drive from Almaty.
📍Address:Saty village : The best way to feel this area gorgeousness is to stay at the closest village Saty. Personally I have enjoyed Kolsay Eco house! It was new, clean and tidy. The third photo was shot there, from the backyard of guest house. We have tried the food in the village restaurants and as a Kazakh native I can say that it was not as tasty as in guest house.
📍Address:Kaiyndy lake: this lake name is literally means “birch” lake. As you can see there is trees in the water. This lake is placed in the remote area in the National park and the driving by yourself is hard unless you have a specially equipped truck that can pass through the couple of little lakes. Fortunately there is trucks in the Saty village. For around 30-40 USD for the whole truck (around 4-6 seats) you can buy their service.
That’s it for the first post! Stay tuned to know more about my trips and Kazakhstan)) Peace ✌️ #familytrip ##nature #localguides

Kolsai
Great place to visit around Almaty, one of my top destinations in Kazakhstan. You will have a lot of places to camp and almost everywhere you can have network. Winter are cold, and difficult to go by 2WD. There a lot places to stay, hostels, yurts and hotels. Near village , Saty, is an affordable place for accommodation and good restaurants to eat. You have horse ride or hike to other lakes as well.

This breathtaking landscape is not in Europe, but Kazakhstan!
Just 2-3 hours from Almaty, you can visit this beautiful lake for a one day trip!
Kolsai Lake is famous for its picturesque scenery. You can see the reflection of mountains and trees in the clear water (Photo 1). As you head further inside, passing through the forest (Photo 2), you can rent a boat and immerse in the view in the middle of the lake (Photo 3).
From the viewpoint above, it takes around 10 minutes to get to the base of the lake. There are stairs on the side so it was not too hard climbing up and down (Photo 4) . My 60+ years old parent have no problem walking around the lake. It's a perfect destination to enjoy the peacefulness and tranquillity of nature.

This is not Switzerland, but the mountains and rivers depend on each other, which is particularly healing, and the most important thing is cheap
Kolsai Lake is known as the 'Pearl on the Tianshan Mountains'. Coming here is really like coming to Switzerland. The Kolsai Lake Group is located in the Kolsai National Park in the northern part of the Tianshan Mountains. There are 3 lakes with altitudes of 1800-2800 meters. The surrounding forests are shady, the clouds are lingering, and the lake water will change color under the sunlight: from light blue to rich emerald green... It is really worthy of nature's palette.
After identification, the lake water under the big sun is still icy. I was surprised that no one was swimming in the lake.

Kazakhstan is the place to go!
Kolsai Lakes, situated in the breathtaking Tien Shan mountain range of Kazakhstan, form a mesmerizing trio of alpine lakes. Surrounded by lush pine forests and snow-capped peaks, these lakes—Kolsai-1, Kolsai-2, and Kolsai-3—captivate visitors with their crystal-clear waters reflecting the stunning landscape. The first lake is easily accessible, while the second and third require a bit of hiking, rewarding adventurers with pristine beauty. Rich biodiversity, including diverse flora and fauna, enhances the allure of the region. Kolsai Lakes offer a serene escape for nature enthusiasts, with opportunities for trekking, camping, and absorbing the tranquil ambiance of this unspoiled natural gem.
