We joined a local day tour that included horseback riding along the historic path, followed by kayaking at Lashihai. As someone who loves kayaking, I was excited, but the wind that day was exceptionally strong. Controlling the paddle became a challenge, and the wind pushed our kayak further and further away. No matter how hard I paddled, I found myself spinning in circles, unable to make any progress. It wasn’t until a staff member came to help that I finally managed to paddle back to the shore. this is my second time in lijiang and stayed in Dayan versus Shuhe. I had enough of beautiful shops and clothes shopping in the Ancient Village so the jade dragon tour wasn’t operating and the guy mentioned the wetlands lake so he drove me personally and it was stunning and beautiful like a bbq camp from the Hamptons or Rhode Island, it is not a place for kids activities, more for couples and photos with magnificent scenery and backgrounds to take photos and dozens and dozens of colorful roses. if your girl loves taking photos or you are with friends and dressed up in lijiang outfits…go! have fun taking scenic photos 👍😊

Lijiang·Poduo Village Located in the mountains beside Lashihai, it is just a mountain away: on one side is the famous scenic spot that is the postcard of Lijiang, and on the other side is a secluded village rarely visited by people. The village has only more than 20 households, and from the totems on the walls, it seems to be a Yi ethnic settlement. I really envy the people of Lijiang who can see the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain wherever they go. In addition to the quiet ancient village, Poduo also has a hiking route that takes only 6 hours. After crossing the mountain, you can reach another niche check-in place—Wenhai Village. If you don't want to get too tired, you can also stroll around the forest entrance. Summer is the best time to pick mushrooms, and you must experience it when you come to Yunnan. Starting from Shuhe Ancient Town, it takes 1.5 hours, passing through Lashihai Wetland and Zhiyun Temple. On the way from Dali to Lijiang, passing by Lashi Lake, with a try-it-out attitude, I headed straight for the park charging 80 yuan (entrance fee + boating). After entering, I followed the tour guide for a round and then spent another 120 yuan on a prayer blessing (this was actually worth it, as I am quite superstitious), but the scenery inside is really hard to describe in a word, and the boat was a real letdown, with no desire to row at all. Lashi Lake is located in the middle of Lashi Dam, 10 kilometers west of Lijiang City, and is the first natural reserve in Yunnan Province named after "wetland", adjacent to the colorful rose base. "Lashi" is the ancient Naxi language translation, where "La" means barren dam and "Shi" means new, signifying a new barren dam. Lashi Lake was originally part of the ancient trough in northwest Yunnan. During the Mesozoic Yanshan movement, it was folded and uplifted into land, and by the Miocene, it became a quasi-plain. With the development of the orogeny of the Hengduan Mountains, by the end of the Pliocene to the beginning of the Pleistocene, this quasi-plain under the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain was divided into three plateau intermountain basins with relative height differences of 100 to 200 meters, namely Lashi Dam, Lijiang Dam, and Qihai Dam.
