Day trip to lazarus island 🏝️😍
#singapore If you're looking for a beach day in singapore you need to visit st john island, lazarus beach.
01 Weekdays are really peaceful — There was barely anyone on the beach which was really nice. There was a few others on the ferry but we didnt bump into any of them when we were there! Great if you're looking for a chill day 💓
02 Beach are definitely cleaner than sentosa — Despite it raining the water was still really clear and blue. There was no waste or seaweed which made the experience better than sentosa.
🛥️ We booked our tickets from marina south ferries website which was $15/pax for a return tix too. Their last ferry out from St John Island — both weekends and weekday is 6PM.
You can be requested to be dropped off on the Lazarus port but return ferry are all from St John Island port which is a 20mins walk! 🚶♀️

Shiok Island Hopping - Lazarus & St John's
#mysgmemories
Embrace the shiok summer heat by taking a ferry ride from Marina South Pier. Lazarus Island and St John's Island are connected by a causeway which can be easily accessed by foot. These islands are perfect for picnic by the beach, where you can enjoy the tranquility. Do pack food and beverage with you because there were no options at the time we were there. Also, take note of the ferry schedule to plan your day well so that you can also make a trip to the Sisters' Islands Marine Park Public Gallery to learn about the conservation efforts.

Lazarus Island
Beautiful and peaceful island boarding time about 45mins from Singapore. Different experience and feeling for nature to get away from Singapore for a moment in our holiday. ❤️❤️❤️

Beach getaway at Lazarus Island and Tips!
Sand, sea, and sun! Dreaming of enjoying the three “S” in Singapore? Hop on a ferry and head off to Lazarus Island for a relaxing day at the beach 🏝
You can enjoy popular weekend activity by getting the island hopping pass! I purchased the pass (Singapore Island Cruise) from Trip.com that allowed me to visit three islands: St. John's Island, Lazarus Island and Kusu Island.
Some tips for a fun beach day at Lazarus island:
⛴ Start your day early by taking the early morning ferry from Marina South Pier as the islands can be crowded on weekends. If you visit on weekdays, you can enjoy more space but there’s limited ferry timings.
☀️ Apply lots of sunblock before getting off at St. John’s Island as you have to walk from the pier to Lazarus Island and the way is mostly not sheltered.
🧺 Pack a food basket as there are no food stalls on the island.
🏖 “Chope” your beach spot with your picnic mat! The bigger that mat, the better as you can place all your stuff on it and even lie on it to take a nap.
🤿 Bring all your beach and swimming paraphernalia as the sea is one of the better places you can swim in Singapore
🚿 You can shower and clean up after your sea activities! Just walk over to the public washroom facilities. The warm from the beach is also unsheltered! So put more sunblock!
🐢 Take the afternoon ferry to stop by Kusu Island for a scenic walk through the temple.
🛳 When you return to Marina South Pier, go to level 2 and visit the Singapore Maritime Gallery. You can learn about Singapore maritime history, cool down, and even redeem a souvenir!
So who is heading to Lazarus Island soon?

Picnic by the Beach
#beachlife
Lazarus Island
Enjoy a slow, relaxing afternoon with a picnic on Lazarus Island’s sandy white beaches while admiring the beautiful blue skies and clear seas! We packed food from the main island in our pretty picnic basket, and also brought along sufficient sunscreen, champagne, glasses, utensils and hand sanitiser!
Heading there: Do purchase ferry tickets from service providers as well as book the date and time that you will be heading down. We boarded the ferry at the Marina Bay Cruise Centre and there were many people there as well.
Pro Tip: There are limited public toilets on the island so do note to relief yourself before heading over; do also make a mental note where the toilets are. Pack lots of mineral water, plastic bags to bag up your trash as there are no mini marts on the island.

St John’s Island & Lazarus Island
St. John's Island is an island off the southern coast of Singapore, which can be reached by ferry from Marina South Pier. 🎫 With the ticket, you can take the ferry to Kusu Island next to it and return to Marina South Pier.🚢
St. John's Island is also connected to Lazarus Island, which can be walked directly there. These islands have not been developed commercially, so they are original natural islands and natural beaches. 🌊 But the downside is that there are not many entertainment facilities on the island, nor even a place to sell food and drinks.🥡
The scenery is very good and the sea is very blue. There are many people who will bring tents, small refrigerators, barbecue equipment, etc. to the beach for camping or sunbathing.☀️

Beautiful Beach Lazarus Island
Lazarus Island is truly paradise defined. With its two-colored, turquoise-meets-baby-blue sea tone, dare we say it could rival the beauty of Philippines, Malaysian and Indonesian beaches.
The relaxing sight of palms and the gentle hushed wind truly made this a hidden gem worth spending an entire day in. But the best thing is that the beaches are so quiet with almost nobody around!
The beach at Lazarus Island is considered the best beaches in Singapore, the water is surprisingly blue and the sand rather clean (unfortunately there is some rubbish swept by the waves onto shore), most people we observed were responsible for cleaning up after themselves.
Apart from the beach goers, there is also the occasional chartered ferries by individuals.

Getaway to Lazarus Island 🏝
#2024wish Getaway to nearby Lazarus island via ferry at Marina South Pier to enjoy tranquillity, sun, and beach. The island has recently been receiving quite a bit of noise online, so I decided to make a visit there.
Getting there is easy. Just make sure to catch the right ferry and timing from Marina South Pier. Only certain ferry services go direct to the island at specific timing. If not, you will have to alight/board at St John's Island and walk about 15 minutes to/from Lazarus island.
Another option is to charter a half day yacht with water activities and enjoy the day with your friends.
Overall, I enjoyed myself on the island even though the sun was scorching hot.
So, don't forget your sunblock.

Lazarus Island Tiny Away Escape
Peaceful and quiet getaway. The house indeed live up to its name. It’s tiny. But sufficient for the one night stay. Bring your own dinner or the tiny house provides instant noodles for a treat. What makes the trip worthwhile is the beautiful and unspoiled sandy beaches. It’s a small island but big enough for exploration for the day. Do note that Ferry timings for tiny away guest are fixed at 3 pm departure to Lazarus and 1130am back to SG.

[Explore SG] Beautiful island getaway
#freehotelstay As a born and bred Singaporean, I was surprised that I had never been to Lazarus island, because if I had, I would have made it my secret hideout for gatherings and picnics with friends and family.
It was just a half-hour boat ride away, with a short stopover at Kusu Island, and we arrived at St. John island, where you could walk over to the quiet and serene Lazarus island. Occasionally, there were monkeys accompanying your walk to the beach, especially if you had food with you, but otherwise, you could simply take a stroll around the peaceful island and explore the beauty of nature within.
On the beach, I could count the number of people with my fingers, although there were a couple of yachts parked not too far away from the shore, and you could see kids playing with the floats around the yachts.
We simply laid our picnic mat out and nibbled on our grapes, whiling the lazy afternoon away. What a perfect afternoon it was. #singapore #naturelover

Lazarus Island
Nice getaway from city urban buzz! Short 15 mins ferry from Sentosa Cove. Tickets available on Marina South Ferries. Bring your own food and drinks! No stores on the island.
Overall a pleasant and enjoyable trip. We had a picnic there. Flew kite, build sand castles and frisbee. The kids had a great time on the island! It’s also linked to St John’s island with a ten minutes walk.
Spent half a day there and explored both islands. something different from the usual city life.
