There's a big shop inside the hotel! Little Big Shop Review💕
When you visit Legoland, you must go to the Big Shop to buy souvenirs or Legos. For guests staying at the Legoland Hotel, there is a space called Little Big Shop inside the hotel where you can buy Lego-related items. Although it is smaller than the Big Shop, you can buy goods that are only sold at Legoland👍
It is perfect to visit and look around when you are bored in the hotel.

Everything You Want to Know About Chuncheon, South Korea
This article introduces today's itinerary: Legoland - Chuncheon Grilled Chicken - Potato Bread.
✈️ Transportation:
For tourists coming from abroad, it's better not to try Naver or KakaoT, as you might not understand the language or be able to register an account. A good combination that works is Google Maps (Google Play) + Uber (cash payment). The vehicles are all regular taxis and respond fairly promptly.
Legoland: If you're looking for thrilling rides, this park might not be suitable.
Compared to Disneyland, Legoland's attractions seem a bit childish, even a 6-year-old might shake their head. However, if you're interested in Lego bricks, the park's atmosphere and various building areas can keep you entertained for a long time.
🐔 Chuncheon Grilled Chicken: The city is full of places to eat grilled chicken. For convenience, I chose a spot near the Potato Bread and was pleasantly surprised by the taste. Specifically, it's the black and gray building two doors down from the Potato Bread store on the left (not the shabby-looking stall next door). Each table in the restaurant has a self-service ordering machine (with a Chinese language option). The menu isn't extensive, but the food is good and there are no unpleasant surprises, though the prices are a bit high. Two pieces of chicken cost about 18,000 won.
🍞 Potato Bread: Claimed to be unique in South Korea, I initially doubted how good carbs wrapped in carbs could be, but it was surprisingly delicious. The sweet potato filling isn't too greasy, just a bit too dense. Eating it after a meal with a cup of potato latte can be quite filling. I also met a Korean family who spoke English in the garden, and we had a great conversation. Finally, I encountered the beautiful sunset in Chuncheon, making it a perfect day!

A Visit to Chuncheon LEGO Land in South Korea
Over the past half month, I finally found time to document my visit to Chuncheon LEGO Land. Visiting during the summer vacation was fantastic due to the numerous Water parties, which helped beat the heat. The park was not crowded, and there were no lines anywhere. We spent two days there, with the first day coinciding with the public holiday on August 15th, Liberation Day, yet it was surprisingly empty, almost as if it was about to close down. The next day saw a slight increase in visitors, but even then, any lines were cleared within five minutes. The overall environment and atmosphere were pleasant. Highly recommended!
Attractions:
- Blue Dragon Roller Coaster: The ride begins inside a castle with interesting decor. The coaster features both indoor and outdoor sections, with the indoor part showcasing LEGO-built scenes and intriguing music. It suddenly accelerates into the outdoor section, providing a thrilling experience. The entire ride lasts about 30 seconds but is very enjoyable, with manageable feelings of weightlessness and heaviness. Despite being very timid and usually avoiding rides like the carousel, I managed to conquer this one!
- Observation Tower: This ride is air-conditioned and offers a slow ascent, descent, and rotation. The view is average as LEGO Land is situated on an island surrounded by barren land, which is not fully developed.
- Sea Jet Ski: Initially, I was too scared to ride this, but after a second attempt, I found it very enjoyable. Despite having anxiety disorders, I discovered that fully immersing myself and relaxing made the experience less dizzying, even giving a sensation of flying over the sea.
- Knight's Guard: I believe that's the name. You sit on a wooden horse that moves up and down in a circle. As long as you don't feel embarrassed, it's a fun ride.
- Boat Ride: I forgot its name, but it's very interesting. The LEGO colors are beautiful, with blue skies, white clouds, and clear water.
- Ninja Shooting: This is a dark shooting game where you wear 3D glasses. Each seat has a motion sensor, allowing you to shoot by waving your hand. It's a cool place to relax.
- Mini Train: Ride around the park on a small train built from LEGO. It's adorable, though the commentary is in Korean.
- LEGO Factory: Similar to the "Zootopia" heat pursuit project, but it was closed on our visit. Hopefully, next time.
- Water Battle: A game where you ride pirate ships and shoot at people on the shore or other ships. It's especially fun for kids who love water fights. The ship's design is very fairy-tale-like, with beautiful scenery.
There are many other spinning rides, each fun and with no lines, which is great!
Dining: The main restaurant at the entrance offers reasonably priced and delicious food.
4D Cinema: Enjoyable LEGO movies with great 3D effects.
Transportation: A red shuttle bus departs at fixed times from the right side of Chuncheon Station.
If you love theme parks but prefer less thrilling rides, I highly recommend it. #SouthKorea #LEGOLand #Chuncheon

Upon exiting the station, turn right to find the park's free shuttle bus, which runs according to the schedule in photo 10. ?? Most attractions, like roller coasters, water rides, observation towers, and 4D movies, can be enjoyed in two to three hours. Unlock Korea's Chuncheon Legoland
Starting from Kangwon National University, a taxi ride of about 15 minutes will take you to Legoland, located in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province. The park is situated on an island and is the largest Legoland resort in Asia, officially opened on May 5, 2022.
Inside the park, there are many Lego-built scenes, and from September 13 to November 10, there is a stamp collection event where you can receive small Lego gifts. The park also has restaurants, making it a great place to visit with children. However, for those who enjoy thrilling rides, Legoland might not be the best choice.

Exploring Korea's Legoland with Kids
Legoland is over two hours away from Seoul, so it's essential to buy train tickets in advance through the 'korail train' mini-program on Green Bubble. Make sure to purchase 'itx' tickets (children under six can travel for free, but I bought a ticket for my child for comfort). Book Legoland tickets at least a day in advance on Fei Zhu; I booked a day ahead for RMB 400 for one adult and one child. Since I didn't book the train tickets early enough, I only got tickets for a noon departure from Seoul to Chuncheon (it's advisable to book train tickets at least two weeks in advance).
Our train was at 11:57 AM, so we visited the Lotte Duty-Free Shop in Myeongdong in the morning. We left Lotte at 10 AM, took a bus to Sin Yongsan Station, and then transferred to itx (it's better to leave 30 minutes earlier as it took time to figure out the right bus direction; see P8 for bus navigation details). After getting off the bus, it's a 10-15 minute walk to Sin Yongsan Station (I used Baidu navigation, and it worked fine). In Korea, train stations are different; metro and train stations are combined, so be sure to check carefully (asking for directions helps). Due to tight timing, we had only seven to eight minutes to board the train.
After entering the station, the metro is on the left, and itx is on the right. In a hurry, I mistakenly took the metro and missed the train, so I had to return to Sin Yongsan Station to buy a new ticket at the counter (if you miss the train, it's best to cancel the ticket on the mini-program in advance. When I went to the counter, the staff said they had refunded my missed train ticket, but I hadn't received the refund, probably because it was my mistake). Finally, after some hurdles, we arrived at Chuncheon Station around 1:30 PM and took a taxi to Legoland, which wasn't far.
Most rides had short queues, and some were available immediately.
1) The manual drop tower allows you to pull a rope to ascend, controlling the height yourself. It descends slowly, offering a great experience.
Recommended: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
2) The magic spaceship, controlled like a bicycle, lets kids participate.
Recommended: 🌟🌟🌟🌟
3) The carousel ride is short and can be hot outdoors, suitable for kids aged 3-5.
Recommended: 🌟🌟
4) Ninja World features obstacle games with staff guidance, so no language barrier. Completing challenges lets you win a blind box toy from a claw machine. Ninja-themed items, like a fabric sword, are popular and safe. Ninja World also has exciting performances.
Recommended: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The Cheapest Way to Visit Korea's Legoland
Ideal for young children, Korea's Legoland features only one thrilling ride: a roller coaster. The rest are gentle attractions like carousels, teacups, pirate ships, and small trains. There are several Lego centers where kids can play with blocks for free. As someone who fears thrilling rides, I found it perfect for me.
Route: Located 80km from Seoul, I opted for the affordable subway instead of buying a train ticket. The subway costs 3,200 KRW one way. Staying in Myeongdong, I took the subway to Hoegi Station, transferred to the Chuncheon Line, and headed to Chuncheon Station. The journey took 2 hours, compared to 1.5 hours by the Youth Train. Although the subway was crowded in the first half, I had a seat throughout the trip.
Upon exiting Chuncheon Station from Exit 1, turn right and walk 100 meters to find the shuttle bus to the park at the parking lot entrance. The shuttle is free and runs every half hour to the park (11:30, 12:30, 13:30, etc.) and returns on the hour.
Tickets: Purchase on Dianping for a better deal than Ctrip, costing 179 RMB per person. The park is generally open only on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Food: Alipay is accepted inside the park, but cash is not. Bags are not checked, so feel free to bring your own food and drinks. Convenience store water costs 700 KRW, while inside the park it's 1,500 KRW.
Playtime: I arrived at 12:30 PM and leisurely enjoyed the park until 5:30 PM without waiting in lines. There are notably fewer children in Korea.

Day 8: Visit to Chuncheon Lego Land in Korea
On the eighth day, we visited Korea's Lego Land in Chuncheon. We drove there, but there is also a subway from Seoul. During winter, the park is not very crowded, but more people started arriving after noon. If you're not a Lego enthusiast, the park might not be that impressive.
My eldest child loves Lego, so he was thrilled to see all the blocks and ran around excitedly. However, for me and my three-year-old daughter, it was less exciting. My favorite part was the 4D movie, which both adults and kids enjoyed. After exploring the park, we had 닭갈비 nearby, which is said to be famous in the area.

It feels like stepping into a miniature yet real LEGO world. Here's how to make the most of your visit! ⏰ Opening Hours: Weekdays 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM; Friday to Sunday 10:00 AM - 9:00 PM (hours may vary by season, please check the official website). 💰 Tickets: Adults ₩60,000, Children (2-12 years) ₩50,000. Seven Themed Areas: 1⃣️ Brick Street 2⃣️ LEGO City 3⃣️ LEGO NINJAGO World 4⃣️ Bricktopia 5⃣️ LEGO Castle 6⃣️ PIRATE SHORES 7⃣️ Miniland Popular Attractions: ✅ LEGO NINJAGO World: A standout attraction with a Japanese temple design, featuring various entertainment facilities like the 4D roller coaster, Jay’s Lightning Drill button game, and Kai’s Fire Spinners. It's a must-visit for LEGO fans. ✅ Miniland: The heart of every LEGOLAND park, filled with LEGO cityscapes and landmarks representing the host country. This section was crafted by Malaysian experts after extensive research, taking about 1.5 years to complete. ✅ DRAGON COASTER: The most thrilling and popular ride. It's recommended to queue for this ride first thing upon entering the park. Despite the long lines, two trains run simultaneously, so the queue moves quickly. 🚕 Transportation: 🚌 Free shuttle buses run daily from Chuncheon Station Exit 1 to the park every 45 minutes, operating from 9:00 AM to 8:30 PM. 🚇 From Myeongdong or Dongdaemun, take the Gyeongchun Line to Chuncheon Station, exit at Exit 1, and take the shuttle bus or a taxi. Tips🔍 1. Download the official app to check wait times, show schedules, restaurant locations, and order food via the app. 2. Bring water and snacks as park restaurants can be pricey and crowded. #KoreaTravel #LEGOLANDKorea #FamilyTravel

LEGOLAND Korea Resort in Chuncheon
Located in Chuncheon, LEGOLAND Korea Resort is a bit far from the city center, with a one-way trip taking about two hours. We opted for a package online that included shuttle bus and park tickets, departing at 8 AM and returning by 5:30 PM. This made the journey hassle-free, allowing us to sleep during the ride. Pickup points include Hongdae, Myeongdong, and Dongdaemun. The small group shuttle driver contacts you via WhatsApp the day before, making the trip seamless. We even stored our large luggage on the bus. Arriving in Korea on a late-night flight and having an early start, we planned this trip to catch up on sleep during the ride. Upon arrival, the park's LEGO-themed attractions were exciting.
Brick Street is the first area you encounter, featuring the largest souvenir shop in the park. Brick Kingdom is perfect for young children, with gentle rides, slides, and water play areas. The Monkey Climb, a favorite, involves manually pulling yourself up for a free-fall experience, which was thrilling enough to try three times. The observation tower offers a 360-degree view of the park and the surrounding river, providing a cool respite.
LEGO Castle features the most thrilling rides, including a roller coaster, though we couldn't ride due to height restrictions. Jo rode a pony ride here for the first time, which was a proud moment.
LEGO City is a must-visit, featuring various vehicles like fire trucks, trains, and boats. Jo enjoyed the LEGO boat ride, controlling the direction and speed, while the fire truck ride was a family favorite, requiring teamwork to extinguish a fire. Despite traffic delays reducing our playtime by an hour, we didn't manage to try all the attractions, making it a place worth revisiting.

Avoiding Pitfalls at Korea's Chuncheon Legoland
Many posts suggest that Korea's Legoland is worth visiting. I decided to take my kids there during their vacation based on these recommendations. Unfortunately, I couldn't get discounted tickets, so I paid 54,000 won for adults and 45,000 won for children. Since it was a last-minute decision, I didn't book a hotel and opted for a same-day round trip from Incheon to Chuncheon, which takes about 2 hours and 45 minutes by car. The weather was hot, but the park wasn't crowded, so we didn't have to wait in line for rides. However, 3 or 4 attractions were closed, including the drop tower, due to a recent accident. The others were closed for unknown reasons.
1. The park is suitable for children who haven't started elementary school, with rides like merry-go-rounds and indoor Lego building areas. Older kids might find it less exciting.
2. You can bring water but not food. There are restaurants everywhere, but they're expensive. We went to a pizza buffet to escape the sun, and it cost us 80,000 won for two adults and one child, who only drank two cups of cola.
3. The ice cream at the entrance is delicious and worth trying in every flavor.
4. There's a water play area, so bring a change of clothes for your kids. You can rent a power bank, but only if you have LG U+ to scan the code. It costs 1,000 won for 12 hours.
5. While in Chuncheon, don't miss the chance to eat dakgalbi. I recommend 명동우미닭갈비, which is not far from Legoland, just a few minutes away.
In summary, children below third grade might not find it interesting, but it's still worth a visit. You might regret not going, but you'll also regret going. It's a nice place to take photos and have some fun. Kindergarten kids will definitely enjoy it. To ensure both kids and parents have a good time without getting too tired, consider staying overnight to rest well. The parking lot is large, so park inside if possible, and take the shuttle bus to the park. I hope my post helps parents planning a visit. #KoreaTravel #Legoland #KoreaLegoland #KoreaFamilyDestinations #Chuncheon #GangwonProvinceTravel #KoreaChuncheon #KoreaWeekendGetaways

Visiting Korea's LEGOLAND
One of the main purposes of our trip to Korea was to visit LEGOLAND. We drove from Seoul, which took less than two hours. It's particularly suitable for children aged 3-7. Unlike other amusement parks where people queue up, at LEGOLAND, the rides are often waiting for people.
There's a map available in Chinese at the entrance, and it takes about 4-5 hours to enjoy everything. If you're bringing kids, it's a good idea to prepare an extra set of clothes for them, as there's a boat ride where people outside can spray water inside. The burgers inside the park are delicious, and kids have a great time without the need for adults to wait in long lines.

Experience the Joy of No Lines at Korea's LEGO Land
This summer, I took my child to Korea, a place we hadn't visited in three years, and we specifically went to LEGO Land.
I must say, it left a great impression on me. The place was so empty that it was almost touching. We visited on a weekday afternoon, and there was practically no waiting in line. The joy of experiencing one attraction after another was truly refreshing. LEGO Land is located in Chuncheon, about a two-hour drive from Seoul.
We hired a car for the trip and recommend setting aside a full day for the visit. It's advisable to purchase tickets online a day in advance, so you can simply have the staff scan the QR code upon arrival. We spent about three hours there. Although it's not particularly large, there are plenty of attractions, and they're quite compact. Chuncheon also has an Alpaca World, which I mentioned in another note, that you can visit to make your trip more packed. While in Chuncheon, I recommend trying the local specialty, Dakgalbi (grilled chicken). It's quite famous and definitely worth trying.

Seoul's Legoland: A Must-Visit!
Transportation: There are several ways to get there. You can take the subway directly to Chuncheon Station or buy a direct bus ticket via Ctrip. We took the ITX from Yongsan Station to Chuncheon, which took 1 hour and 20 minutes, and it was quite convenient. ITX tickets are relatively easy to purchase. We visited during the National Day holiday, and tickets were plentiful.
It's worth noting that there are fewer tickets available on the mini-program, and some may show as sold out, but there are plenty on the official website, so it's recommended to buy directly from there. After getting off at Chuncheon Station, exit from Exit 1 and look to the right to find the LEGO LAND bus stop. There are plenty of buses, and the last two photos have the timetable. Before visiting, I didn't have high expectations for LEGO, but after arriving, I couldn't help but be impressed. It's perfect for kids, especially those aged 3-12! Firstly, it's not crowded, which is a stark contrast to Everland, which we visited a few days earlier. Secondly, there are many rides suitable for children that are just as good as those at Everland. With fewer people, you can basically skip the lines and enjoy the rides multiple times if interested. These two points alone made it more appealing to my son than Everland.
Not to mention, it's LEGO-themed. The park has several LEGO-themed areas, including LEGO City, LEGO Ninjago, Pirates, and more. Each theme has corresponding rides, which are very enjoyable. If you go, remember to bring an extra set of clothes because some rides are water-based and might get you wet. The food isn't as bad as some online reviews suggest; it's average, though slightly pricey. You can spend an entire day there, and if you don't plan to stay overnight, it's better to arrive early. In conclusion, if you're traveling with kids, you won't regret visiting!

Gangwon-do Chuncheon LEGO Land is Amazing!
First and foremost, make sure to bring a UnionPay card, absolutely essential! LEGO Land only accepts UnionPay or credit cards for all purchases, from tickets to in-park expenses. No cash, Alipay, or WeChat payments are accepted. Now, about transportation. Traveling with two kids, I opted for the subway and then transferred to ITX to reach Chuncheon.
This option offers flexibility, with a travel time of about two hours. Once you exit Chuncheon Station, turn right and cross a small zebra crossing (no need to cross the main road). You'll see a sign with the shuttle bus schedule from LEGO Land to Chuncheon Station. Wait there for a red bus that will take you directly to LEGO Land. It's very convenient. The bus ride takes about 10 minutes, and as you approach the entrance, you'll be amazed, and the kids will be thrilled even before entering. All rides are available for children over 95cm tall. My younger child experienced his first outdoor roller coaster ride here.
You'll see more kids here than anywhere else in Korea, truly. We visited on a Saturday, and it was very crowded. Even on weekdays, one day isn't enough to enjoy everything, so I recommend planning for two days. There's a fireworks show on weekend nights, but unfortunately, we couldn't stay to watch it because we needed time to catch the subway back. Next time, we'll definitely stay in Chuncheon for three to four days, as this city is worth visiting again.

Chuncheon LEGO Land Adventure
This semester, our school's city activity took us to LEGO Land, which is touted as the largest LEGO Land in Asia. Visiting on a weekday meant fewer crowds, mostly children, and no long lines for the attractions. The park features two restaurants with an average price of around 10,000 won, which is quite reasonable.
Despite being the largest in Asia, the park can be toured quickly, making it ideal for young children. We visited just before Halloween, so there were plenty of themed activities and a festive atmosphere. There was even a small event where they gave away a set of LEGO bricks.
A funny story from the day: after finishing an activity with friends, we absentmindedly followed the crowd into the line for the Blue Dragon roller coaster. Seeing many children in line, we didn't realize it was a roller coaster. Not being fans of dizzying adventure rides, we were surprised when the ride started with a downhill plunge. I kept my eyes shut the entire time, amazed at how brave the kids were to enjoy such rides at a young age.
