Staying in a little wooden house on the lush grasslands is so blissful!! It's my absolute favorite accommodation from my Yunnan trip!! Pulling back the curtains reveals a dreamlike vista, with green grasslands, Happy Sheep, Beauty Sheep, little ducks, and puppies, all of which let me cast aside my worries and march towards happiness! And at night, there's the company of a sky full of stars! The butler's service is incredibly responsive. On the day of check-in, because I was feeling a bit uncomfortable due to altitude sickness, they immediately brought me glucose and Fenbid. Before bed, there's also the rich taste of goodnight milk. Although it's a small wooden house, it's fully equipped with modern amenities like underfloor heating, a projector, and a smart bathroom. The common area includes a pool table, and there's also a coffee shop. Since it's quite far from the city center, you can also choose to dine in the restaurant here, with options like yak meat hotpot, chicken hotpot, and stir-fried dishes. From the pick up to entering the premises, we felt so welcome by the staff as well as the animals. Especially so in the morning when the animals welcome a new day. Alpaca (naughty one), 3 huskies, 2 swans, a few ducks, 2 ponies, many goats which you can pat. Borrowed the tribal attire to take with the animals. Rested in a room with heated floor and projector that we could enjoy a cinematic experience while on our bed. Did star gazing too but phone can’t do justice to the photo. Overall, a memorable experience.

An unforgettable week in Shangri-la

Spent 4 beautiful nights in LISMAN Xinsu Muye Hotel, where my family and I were well-rested. Having been used to all the hustle and bustle of the city, surrounding ourselves with greenery and nature was the best choice. An absolutely 5 stars to the environment and service, you could stay in the hotel all day and still be entertained. Domesticated animals were friendly, calm and clean, spent an entire day playing with them. Definitely the best choice for city-hustlers!

This time, I stayed at the long-desired Shangri-La fairy homestay, Xinsu Muye Manor's wooden cabin. The room type is Muxin, which is slightly smaller, but enough for two people. The room has a projector. Lying in bed, looking at the green grasslands and Shika Snow Mountain outside the window, is really very pleasant. At night, you can also watch the stars and the moon. If the weather is clear, the experience is doubled. Homestay: Xinsu Muye Manor and Xinsu Qionglu Siyi are actually the same place. The former is a wooden cabin, while the latter is a building. Staying in a viewing room on the second or third floor should have a broader view. Location: The homestay is located in the Napa Sea Scenic Area, about 12 kilometers from the Moonlight Square in the ancient city. The taxi ride takes about 20 minutes. During the day, it is not difficult to get a taxi because many people take taxis to the nearby Black Bean Coffee House. It is slightly more difficult to get a taxi in the early morning and evening, but if you really can't get a taxi, the homestay will also send you to your destination. Food: Because there is almost nothing around, the homestay provides a la carte service, and the taste is average. Photos: During this period, the homestay has a cooperation with a travel photography company, offering 3 photos, but makeup and hairstyle are not included. The selection of Tibetan clothes on site is also relatively small. Because the price of makeup and styling compared to the ancient city feels not worth it, the photo shoot was finally canceled. Service: The butler contacted me the day before check-in and created a group chat. If there are any questions, you can ask directly in the group, and there will be a quick response. Because there were 2 hours left in the itinerary the next day, I went to the nearby Black Bean Coffee House, just to pay for the scenery. The view is indeed broader than Xinsu, but overall, the difference is not much. The small house on the right is the view of the coffee house from the grassland at Xinsu. It is recommended to take photos at the internet-famous window when the light is suitable in the evening. The chairs are camping chairs pulled out to find a place to sit. When the sun is strong, it is really hot, and there is no place to shade.
