[2025 Badulla Attraction] Travel Guide for Little Adam's Peak (Updated Jan)

🇱🇰 Named after the sacred mountain Adam's Peak, the 1141-metre Little Adam’s Peak is a pyramidal-shaped hill located in the tea country hill city, Ella, Sri Lanka. It is the most popular hiking spot in Ella due to its relatively easy climb and spectacular 360 degree views of the surrounding mountains from the peak. The trailhead starts next to Ravana Pool Club located about 4 km to the south-east of Ella town centre. It can be easily reached by hiring a tuk-tuk. Our family took about 30 minutes to reach the peak. It is better to set out early in the morning or in the evening to avoid the scorching sun. Little Adam’s Peak is a lovely walk situated not far from downtown Ella. The walk has tea plantations on one side and great views of mountains on the other side. The walk is very easy to do with good signage along the route. At the top, there is a shop and cafe as well as other activities to do such as zip-lining and wall climbing. There are some toilets at the top of the walk too
