Once you enter the park, the temperature naturally drops significantly!
In Liuxi River Forest Park, patches of dawn redwood trees are shrouded in mist. Walking through them, a misty spray hits your face, making you feel like you're in a fairyland. Right now is the most beautiful season in the park. The trees are lush, the breeze is gentle, and the summer scenery is in full display. A hike through the forest allows you to take in all the green sights. As you venture deeper into the park, the trees on both sides become denser, their tops forming a natural 'sunshade.' ①Recently, I went to Liuxihe National Forest Park in Conghua District, Guangzhou City. It is a national forest park with beautiful scenery and pleasant climate.
2. Liuxihe National Forest Park is located in the northeast of Conghua District, Guangzhou City, about 60 kilometers away from the city center. It covers an area of 9,333.33 hectares and is one of the largest forest parks in Guangdong Province.
③Inside the park, there is the Liuxihe Reservoir, which has 22 islands of different sizes on the surface, forming a beautiful water island scenery. The park also has six peaks above 1000 meters, including Wuzhi Mountain, Niujiao Mountain, and Jizhen Mountain, among which Jizhen Mountain is the highest peak in Guangzhou, with an altitude of 1146.7 meters. The vegetation in the park is dense, and the animal resources are abundant, known as the "Liuxi Fragrant Snow".
④There are multiple natural and cultural attractions in the park, such as Xiangxue Avenue, Shimen Canyon, Tianchi Waterfall, Baihua Valley, Lion Rock, Deer Garden, Birdsong Forest, etc. Visitors can take sightseeing cars or bicycles to tour the park, or take a boat to tour Liuxi Lake and enjoy the scenery of the water island. 🍓

Starting from Liwan, Guangzhou, the entire journey takes about an hour and a half via highway, covering 113 kilometers, with a toll fee of 52 yuan.
Tickets are currently discounted, priced at 20 yuan, and parking is free.

🚗 I set off from Liwan, Guangzhou, and it only takes one and a half hours by expressway, about 113 kilometers, with a toll fee of 52 yuan, very convenient! As soon as I entered the park, the fresh air hit me, as if I was healed all over.🍃
🎫 There is a discount on tickets now! The original price was 40 yuan, but now it's only 20 yuan! And parking is free! However, it should be noted that due to maintenance in the park, there are limited places to go, mainly the lakeside greenway around the lake.🚶♀️
🏞️ Strolling along the greenway, the clear Liuxi River flows by, and the lakeside scenery is breathtaking. It takes about 2-3 hours to complete the whole journey, and you can enjoy the tranquility and beauty of nature while walking.🌸

The Liuxi River is formed by the convergence of numerous streams.
The Liuxi River is located in the northwest of Guangzhou, China, and is formed by the convergence of numerous streams. It originates at the border of Lvtian Town in Conghua District and Xinfeng County, gathers several tributaries, flows through the Huangyao Gorge (also known as Shima Gorge), and enters the Liuxi River Reservoir, where it is first called the Liuxi River, also known as the Lvtian River. From north to south, it runs through Conghua District, then flows through Zhongluotan, Zhuliu, Renhe, and Jiangcun in Baiyun District, and merges into the Bainai River, which flows into the South China Sea through the Pearl River Delta network. From its source to the mouth of the Bainai River, the main stream is 156 kilometers long, with a basin area of 2,300 square kilometers.

Liu Xi River Lake View Homestay
This rain has really been pouring for a month, please no more rain, otherwise many beautiful places will be destroyed, and many homes will suffer great losses.
Finally, the weather has cleared up, and it's an off-peak day. Today, I came to Liu Xi River Forest Park and found a 5-room homestay with a French-style exterior. The small garden has a swimming pool, and at night, having a barbecue and swimming here, that kind of feeling is really on point.
Then I went inside to take a look, and I estimate that this homestay is quite new, about a year old, and it's very clean.
Then I went up to see the rooms, out of the 5 rooms, 4 have a view of the lush lake scenery, which is really beautiful.
Then I went up to the rooftop, and it was a surprise.
It turns out there is a hot spring pool on the rooftop, where you can enjoy the hot spring while admiring the beautiful view of Liu Xi River, this scene is full of poetry.
I also learned that staying at this lake view homestay includes 10 complimentary tickets to Liu Xi River Forest Park. You can also have barbecues here, there's KTV, automatic mahjong, and so on.
Such a great lake view homestay, I've already saved it to my favorites!

After spending too much time in the hustle and bustle of the city, one often longs for a touch of tranquility. Xitou Village and Aliupo Village in Guangzhou's Conghua are just such places. Here, you can see lush bamboo forests, hear the babbling streams, breathe the fresh air, and feel the strong sense of community. The villagers are simple and hospitable, and they will welcome you warmly, inviting you to taste the local cuisine such as bamboo tube rice, cured meat, green plum wine, and more. There are also many handicrafts like woven bamboo baskets, hats, fans, etc., all made by the villagers' own hands, each filled with spirit. The nights here are especially peaceful; you can lie on the lawn, gaze up at the starry sky, and see countless stars twinkling before your eyes, almost within reach. The terraced fields here are particularly spectacular; you can stroll along the ridges and admire the interwoven colors of the rice fields, forming a beautiful tapestry. There are no skyscrapers, no bustling traffic, no throngs of people, just the sounds and breath of nature. If you want to escape the noise of the city and find a pure land of your own, then Xitou Village and Aliupo Village are definitely your best choices. Continuing north from Xitou Village, there is a 'Little Lushan of Guangdong' where you can go to Qianligou Waterfall to see the bamboo sea, waterfalls, streams, and strange rocks, and experience the wonders of nature. spending 40 yuan to come here feels slightly not worth it)
If you're coming specifically to check in, don't set your expectations too high; if you're just looking for a place to relax nearby, you might like it more.

Leisure in Conghua
Besides being famous for its hot springs, Guangzhou's Conghua also boasts the picturesque Liuxi River Forest Park. It's a pity that the water level was quite low when we visited, but we still managed to see its charming side.
Right by the Liuxi River, there's a very nice "Guangzhou Conghua Lakeview Homestay" where the rooms face the river, fulfilling the dream of lying in bed while watching the lake and the sky. In front of the homestay, there's a large green lawn where one can enjoy the sunset and the afterglow, facing the sparkling water surface, which is incredibly pleasant. The key point is that the price is not expensive, around 400, with a kitchen and full set of utensils. The landlady is very kind, not only helping with breakfast but also helping to order the delicious Wuzhi Maotao chicken soup served in a clay pot. Enjoying the tasty chicken soup on the large lawn as the sun sets is a truly beautiful experience, highly recommended.
The hotel-style apartments of the Conghua Yungu project are now on sale. Taking a look at the surrounding environment gives the impression of being in a European town, but isn't renting more fragrant?
