Less than a year's time, I visited Lugu Lake for the second time, simply because I love this bay of blue fantasy that is hard to describe in words. Pure, tranquil and primitive, everywhere I step is a fairyland. From the moment I arrived, no matter how tired, I feel refreshed, no matter how irritable, my mood instantly improves. - If it weren't for the limited time, I really want to sleep in Lugu Lake for a week, enjoying the brief and complete relaxation. The location of Qeman is excellent, on the hillside, facing Lugu Lake and Gemu Goddess Mountain, with no obstructions in the view, especially in the room, the aesthetic of tranquility and beauty plus the lake view, it feels like sleeping in a painting. Friends who like to take photos can bring a few sets of beautiful clothes, a casual shot with the phone is a magazine cover, the view of the three-story hall is also superb, afternoon tea plus lake view is simply amazing, there is also a bird's nest built in the forest, it's super comfortable to lie in on a sunny day. - It only takes a few minutes to walk from Qeman to Pulo Village Pier. When you come to Lugu Lake, you must take a pig trough boat to tour the lake. Seagulls follow you all over the sky, especially in the early morning, the morning fog plus sunrise here is absolutely beautiful. This time I booked the Wabi-Sabi Oriental Lake View Room. The room is not very large, but the layout design is great. There is also a small viewing terrace. It is very comfortable to sit on the terrace and watch the lake view. The indoor and outdoor public areas add up to nearly 1,000 square meters, with a study room, restaurant, coffee bar and small garden. There is also a small orchard on the back mountain, with some apple trees and pear trees. (The pears in the hotel's afternoon tea are picked from the back! Very sweet. Lugu Lake Slow Life·In the Shadow of Pines
Located in Puluo Village within the Lugu Lake scenic area, you need to buy a ticket to enter.
The drive from Lijiang takes about 3.5 hours, and you can buy bus tickets online.
The hotel prices are around 1.5k, and I heard from the shopkeeper that it's about 2.5k during the peak season.
There's a parking lot for those who drive themselves, and for those who don't, the shopkeepers will arrange transportation, so there's no need to worry too much about whether to drive or not.
Each room faces Lugu Lake directly, and because the hotel is on a mountain, the lake view is wider and more expansive than what you'd see from the lakeside, which I personally find more beautiful.
The rooms have underfloor heating, so you can wear beautiful dresses for photos without feeling cold.
The space is wonderfully designed, with many corners that are great for taking pictures.
The staff are very friendly and attentive, providing guests with enough 'personal space.'
If time allows, it's worth staying for several nights.

Everyone says that Lugu Lake in Yunnan is beautiful, but I didn't expect it to be so stunning.
Lugu Lake is a highland lake shared by Yunnan and Sichuan. Although Sichuan also has a large area, most people still focus on the Yunnan side when traveling to Lugu Lake.
There are many hotels of various sizes around Lugu Lake, including upscale B&Bs and budget hostels. However, if you have a sufficient budget when visiting Lugu Lake, I would still recommend choosing some of the nicer B&Bs.
I stayed at Lugu Lake for a week and stayed in four different B&Bs, each with its own characteristics. I'm sharing them here for those who might need a reference.
1⃣️ An & Resort Hotel (Pictures 1, 2)
Located in Daluoshui Village, this is a frontline lakeside hotel, right at the doorstep of Lugu Lake. The room's balcony is not only unobstructed for viewing the scenery but also allows you to feed seagulls from the balcony.
Feature: Frontline lake view, you can watch the sunrise from the balcony, and each room has a mini washing machine which is very convenient.
2⃣️ Xujiu·Shanhai Shi (Pictures 3, 4)
I absolutely love the huge window in the room, offering an unobstructed view of the entire Gemu Goddess Mountain. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the lobby restaurant on the first floor are also a superb spot for taking pictures; every shot is like a masterpiece. The hotel's own restaurant tastes great and is worth a try.
3⃣️ Qie Man·Ruying Song Half-Mountain Hotel (Pictures 5, 6)
A hotel where Hu Ge has stayed, located at the top of the hill. It's tiring to walk up, but the hotel has a car that can shuttle from the parking lot below to the hotel. The scenery is absolutely amazing. The piano in the hotel lobby is very photogenic, especially during sunset. Behind the hotel, there is a bird's nest-style viewing platform in the pine forest.
4⃣️ Lugu Lake Qiushan (Pictures 7, 8)
The rooms are super big. Although it's not a lakeside hotel, the view in front is completely unobstructed, and the scenery is very good. Moreover, it's a short walk to the Langfang Pier. The Qiushan Lake View Cafe on the first floor of the hotel is very well decorated, with great taste and aesthetics.
There are many other excellent hotels and B&Bs around Lugu Lake. The above B&Bs are based on my own experience, and prices range from 1000+ to 3000, so you can choose according to your budget and preferences.
