Trip Moments Recommendations
#Luoyang Laojun Mountain Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Mount Laojun is really easy to climb! Even a lazy person like me managed to conquer it with ease! Welcome everyone to check in
🚞 After getting off at Luoyang Station, there will be many people soliciting to take you to Mount Laojun. They usually quote fifty per person, but you can bargain. However, it is very important to ask clearly whether they take the expressway all the way and whether they depart immediately!
🚖 You can also choose the official bus, which is right next to the station at the Luoyang Huashen Bus Station, for 38 per person. Pay attention to the departure schedule!!
🈲🈲🈲🈲 At first, we didn't know there were so many pitfalls, so we bargained down to 35 to take a private bus, and the result was that we waited an hour or two for everyone to arrive... And the bus would stop to pick up people along the way... And because it didn't take the expressway, it was especially slow, turning a two and a half hour journey into four hours...
🏨 We stayed at a hotel at the foot of the mountain, and set off to climb the mountain the next morning. It was only a few hundred meters walk to the Mount Laojun ticket checkpoint. After entering the checkpoint, you need to take a sightseeing bus for 10 yuan, and after about six or seven kilometers, you will reach the cable car station. Friends who drive can go further to the parking lot next to the cable car. We arrived around eight or nine o'clock, and there were very few people in the cable car queue, so it was easy to get up haha.
⛰️ Mount Laojun has two sections of cable car. It is recommended to only buy the first section, or it is also ok to hike the whole way, because later, while I was enjoying the scenery on the cable car, I found that the mountain paths were not very difficult to climb. And after we got off the first section of the cable car, it only took us three to four hours to finish the climb. That is to say, Mount Laojun is not very long and the paths are easy to walk.
At first, we thought the Ten Mile Gallery was really ten miles long, but as we walked, we finished the tour!! Then we went to the Golden Summit of Mount Laojun. There was a restaurant on the way, which really had instant noodles, twenty to thirty per bowl. It is recommended that everyone still bring some snacks. We each had a can of Eight-Treasure Porridge and some biscuits, and we were not very hungry from climbing. As for water, just bring one bottle, the prices on the mountain are not expensive, just two or three yuan more than usual.
After climbing the Golden Summit, there are two high peaks next to it, you only need to climb one to enjoy the scenery. There is also the main peak of Mount Funiu, which seems to be the highest peak, and it is recommended to climb it.
After that, you can return the same way. There are sometimes free performances next to the second-level cable car, and we didn't go to the glass bridge next to the first-level cable car, which is quite expensive at fifty yuan per person. Since we descended the mountain early, we didn't see Mount Laojun lit up at night, but according to netizens, it's just so-so haha, so we don't regret it.
❌❌❌ On the way down the mountain, there is a slide and an aerial zip line, don't go to either! We tried both and found that they were really not fun at all. The slide was crowded, and the zip line looked scary but had no sense of weightlessness or thrill, and after we finished, we found that a group of people walking were faster than us on the zip line...
All in all, Mount Laojun is really easy to climb, especially for those who have climbed Mount Huangshan, climbing Mount Laojun is really a breeze!!
💰 The ticket for Mount Laojun is 100+ cable car 120+ round trip private car from Luoyang to Luanchuan 100+ one night hotel 150+ meals, averaging five to six hundred per person.
Later, we also went to Luoyang Yingtianmen and Longmen Grottoes, and including the car fare, the average cost per person was one thousand.
Only see the green mountains but not you, Luoyang Laojun Mountain
Luoyang | Traveling to the human world for a stunning banquet, climbing high to overlook the peaks, seeing oneself|||⭐'Travel to the human world for a stunning banquet, and see the prosperous world'
My impression of Laojun Mountain is stuck in the beautiful scenery of heavy snow and silver dressing. This summer trip to Luoyang, although I can't see the snow scene on the top of the mountain, climbing the mountain in midsummer also has another green beauty.
/
⛰️Laojun Mountain is located in Luanchuan County, Luoyang City, the ancient capital of Central Plains. It is the main peak of Funiu Mountain, the extension of Qinling Mountains, with an altitude of 2297 meters. It is said that Laozi once practiced here, so it is named Laojun Mountain. It has been a Taoist holy land throughout the dynasties. The Taiching Temple on the top of the mountain was built during the Northern Wei Dynasty, with a long history, and the green mountains are still there.
/
🔥Laojun Mountain has become popular in recent years, and many people come here for its reputation. Although the summer sun is like a flame, the mountain breeze is refreshing, and there is a bit of coolness under the shade of the trees.
🏕️Laojun Mountain scenic area is not big, the climbing route is very simple, the main attractions are concentrated in the top part, a loop can visit all, most suitable for a day trip from Luoyang.
/
🚌It takes about 2 hours to get to Laojun Mountain from Luoyang City. There is no hiking trail from the foot of the mountain to the top. All tourists need to take the first-level cable car (Zhongling Cableway or Yunjing Cableway) to Zhongtianmen in the middle of the mountain, and then choose to hike up the mountain or continue to take the second-level cableway.
🚠It is recommended to choose to hike from Zhongtianmen to the top of the mountain. Although there is no unique scenery on the way of this about 1 hour journey, you will also feel the joy of climbing while moving forward. After sweating, the breeze is refreshing.
/
✅The core attractions on the top of the mountain are the Ten Mile Painting Screen and the Golden Top Taoist Temple Group. No matter which direction you choose to visit, it is a big loop. The starting point is also the end point. The tour route is clear and simple, without brain power.
✅It is recommended to start hiking from the 'Ten Mile Painting' screen. After passing the cliff plank road and the cliff of ten thousand feet, you will reach the main peak of Funiu Mountain. Climbing to the highest point of Funiu Peak, overlooking the rolling peaks, the green mountains are continuous, and the feeling of looking at all the small mountains is directly saying that the scenery is unique.
✅Coming down from Funiu Mountain, you will soon reach the iconic attraction of the top of the mountain, the 'Golden Top Taoist Temple Group'.
➡️Laojun Mountain Golden Top Sky Palace Theater, you can rest in the hall, dine in the restaurant, or watch a wonderful stage play.
➡️Laojun Temple, the Moral Mansion is the two halls of the north and the south, enshrining the statue of Laozi, the statue of Taishang Laojun, and everyone once again offers incense, prays for blessings and wishes.
➡️The three golden halls are respectively Jade Emperor Top (worshiping Jade Emperor), Liangbao Platform (worshiping God of Wealth), and Wumu Golden Hall (worshiping the Five Mothers of Heaven and Earth). The Jade Emperor's Top and Liangbao Platform are opposite and towering, the terrain is high, only one person can go up and down, the road section is not far, but the slope is steep and it takes a lot of physical effort. The Golden Hall is lower in terrain and can be reached by passing through the Moral Mansion. The three peaks stand together, each occupying one side. The three palaces are golden and solemn, like three mountain guards, marveling at the shock and magic of the building built in this desperate situation.
/
🌿After visiting the Golden Top Taoist Temple Group, the tour on the top of the mountain is over. You can choose to take the slide and the second-level cable car to Zhongtianmen when you go down the mountain, and then change to the first-level cable car to the foot of the mountain.
🕒1 day round trip to Luoyang, time is completely enough, no need to worry about rushing and not enough attractions to see.

Luoyang Laojun Mountain One-Day Tour - A crowd of holiday tourists
A day of walking till legs break 🥲
Signed up online for a one-day tour of Luoyang Laojun Mountain, gathered at the meeting point at 9:10, and arrived at Laojun Mountain about 2 and a half hours by car. We took the first-level cable car Yunjing Cableway up, started climbing from Zhongtianmen, and climbed for nearly 4 hours to reach the Golden Summit, which included time for taking photos📸+playing on the glass cableway+resting.
The glass plank road to the platform of SheShen Cliff for taking photos is very picturesque, and there are not many people, this is the key point haha🤣
The 580 steps before the Ten-Mile Gallery are the most physically demanding, climbing until legs break. There is a direct elevator from the Ten-Mile Gallery to the Golden Summit, 40 yuan/person. After climbing these hundreds of steps, most of the rest is flat. People who can't climb the mountain⛰️ can take the second-level cableway directly to the Golden Summit.
We didn't see the sea of clouds☁️ that day, it's a bit of a pity~
There are really a lot of people traveling during the New Year's holiday, we climbed to the Golden Summit and couldn't squeeze into the Golden Summit, because everyone was waiting for the lights to turn on, most people were squeezed at the platform of the Taoist Mansion. The lights turned on at 5:20, maybe it wasn't completely dark yet, personally, I didn't find it very amazing. Either wait until it's dark, the lights are more obvious before returning, but can't catch the time to leave for the one-day tour.
It is recommended to wait for the lights at the platform leading to the exit and the Peak Forest Cableway, because after the lights are on, there are really too many people leaving, all rushing to leave at 7:40 in the evening. Otherwise, it's hard to squeeze into the return channel.
We left to line up for the Peak Forest Cableway and the first-level cableway and waited for nearly 2 hours to get down the mountain, there were too many people!!! If you take the first-level cableway Yunjing Cableway, you also need to take the Yunjing Cableway when you leave, the same goes for the Zhongtian Cableway.
I sincerely do not recommend coming to Laojun Mountain during public holidays, too many people, the experience is very poor, there are also many people descending when climbing up, it's just a jam...

The only mountain range in China that has been crowned as 'the famous mountain under heaven' in history
The Laojun Mountain, 'the unparalleled holy land in the world, the first fairy mountain in the world'. Originally named Jingshi Mountain, it is located three kilometers southeast of Luanchuan County, Luoyang, the ancient capital of thirteen dynasties. It is the main peak of the 800-li Funiu Mountain Range, with the Jade Emperor Peak at an altitude of 2217 meters. It has a cultural history of more than two thousand years and is the longest mountain range in Taoism.
During the Spring and Autumn Period, Lao Tzu Li Er, who was recognized as the founder of Taoism, came here to retreat and practice, making it the 'source of Tao' and 'ancestral court'. The Northern Wei Dynasty began to build the Laojun Temple on it to commemorate it. In the eleventh year of Zhenguan (637 AD), Emperor Taizong of Tang Dynasty rebuilt the Jingshi Mountain Iron Top Laojun Temple and named it 'Laojun Mountain', which became the holy land of the mainstream Quanzhen Sect of Taoism. In the thirty-first year of Wanli (1603 AD), Emperor Shenzong of Ming Dynasty decreed Laojun Mountain as 'the famous mountain under heaven', and issued a gold building, becoming the only mountain range in China that has been crowned as 'the famous mountain under heaven' in history.
Travel guide to Mount Laojun in Henan
Most parts of Henan have snowed, and Mount Laojun has really snowed! Although the snow scene is beautiful, you should also pay attention to keeping warm. The weather is really cold, no matter how thick you wear, don't forget to bring a warm baby. It's also great to bring some hot water in a thermos. Try not to wear sweaters, sweaters are not easy to dry after sweating, easy to lose body temperature. These are all talks of experience, listen to the advice will not step on the pit.

Mount Laojun is more suitable for the lazy, as someone who gets out of breath climbing five floors, I managed to reach the summit
I didn't originally plan to visit Mount Laojun, considering I haven't hiked in over twenty years and thought it impossible to reach the top with my parents in their seventies or eighties. However, after looking up some strategies, it seemed there was a cable car all the way. Here's a summary of the easiest strategy to ascend Mount Laojun.
I joined a premium tour group that included tickets and the primary cableway. I paid the guide 80 on the bus to also include the secondary cableway. The tour bus goes directly to the base of the cableway, and after a short walk, you reach the primary cableway, which has two stations: Zhongling and Yunjing, both leading to Zhongtian Gate. After exiting the primary cableway, there's a slope to walk before reaching the secondary cableway. Those with good physical condition can skip the secondary cableway, but I recommend not skimping on this if you're with elderly or children.
After the secondary cableway, there's a tunnel, and passing through it leads to the Ten-Mile Gallery, which is a mountain path built around the mountain. There aren't many steps, and even those with poor physical condition can handle it easily. This section takes about 20 minutes to walk, and it's worth it to take photos and enjoy the scenery along the way. Then, following the signs, you'll reach the elevator, which costs 40 yuan and is divided into four segments, similar to escalators in a shopping mall. It takes only a moment to reach the top, and after a short walk and climbing a few dozen steps, you can see the golden summit as shown in the first picture. Those with good physical condition can climb higher, but considering the safety of the elderly and the crowded, steep, and narrow stairs, I chose not to continue climbing. You can take beautiful pictures from below, as shown in the first picture.
Resist the urge to eat instant noodles along the way, as there's a large rest area above the theater where you can sit down, eat instant noodles, and take pictures of the golden summit. The noodles are not expensive, costing 12-15 yuan.
Descending the mountain: Walk to the left of the Dao De Jing, and after about fifteen minutes, you'll reach the secondary cableway. After exiting, choose the primary cableway based on the meeting point. There's no elevator for descending, only a slide, which is not suitable for those over 60.
If you don't want to queue, it's best not to join the lazy group. Start early to avoid the peak hours. We spent 4-5 hours just queuing for the cableway. Climbing is not tiring, queuing is.
Mount Laojun in April
It's breathtakingly beautiful. After taking the first and second level cable cars, I hiked through the Ten-Mile Gallery. For those who are physically fit, I suggest not using the shuttle elevator; instead, walk the entire way to not miss any of the scenery. I bought a metal walking stick for 5 yuan each, the most basic wooden ones for 3 yuan, and there were various bamboo options to choose from, but I think they are generally unnecessary. On the way back, there's a glass slide, and if you choose to ride it, you'll have to give up your walking stick. We carried a lot of water, but in fact, adults won't finish two bottles. So, bring water as needed, but bringing bread and sausages turned out to be a good idea. It's wise to prepare some snacks for yourself. Of course, there are also places selling food and water on the mountain, albeit at slightly higher prices.

1⃣️Definitely join a tour group, definitely!! It's the most cost-effective, 130 will take you directly to the cable car station. Taking a taxi can only get you to the main gate, and you still have to take the park shuttle, which is 40 for a round trip.
2⃣️Don't bring your own instant noodles, there's no hot water on the mountain, hot water costs 5, instant noodles on the mountain are 12 including hot water.
3⃣️Don't eat the corn on the mountain, it's really bad.
4⃣️Don't buy a wishing plaque at the beginning, it's more expensive at the foot of the mountain, and really cheap at the summit.
5⃣️I advise you to definitely take the first level cable car, because it's too far. It takes 5 hours to climb up, and then there's no time left to play.
6⃣️I don't recommend buying the second level cable car, it's not very difficult, and you can reach the top in 2 hours with beautiful scenery along the way.
7⃣️Go to the toilet in advance! Avoid using the toilets in the scenic area if not necessary, they are really too dirty.
8⃣️Don't stay at the summit, the accommodations are all dormitory-style, no private rooms, and expensive.
9⃣️The golden summit lights up every day at 18:40 for 40 minutes, the time may adjust if there are many people.
🔟Sunrise is around 6:30, sunset around 18:50.
1⃣1⃣There are two paths from Zhongtian Gate to the golden summit, the stone stairs directly opposite Zhongtian Gate are steep, it's recommended to take the wooden stairs next to it.
1⃣2⃣From Zhongtian Gate to the golden summit, going straight is the Ten-Mile Gallery, the scenery is beautiful, but it requires 3 hours of climbing. Taking the tunnel on the right can save half an hour. Without visiting the Ten-Mile Gallery, it only takes half an hour to reach.
1⃣3⃣Scenic spots like the golden summit, Ten-Mile Gallery, and the glass viewing platform are great for taking pictures of the snow scenery, which looks very bright.
1⃣4⃣For sunrise viewing~Locations: Mazing Ridge, Liangbaotai, Xiyi Corridor, and the viewing platform of Dao De Fu.
1⃣5⃣Rooms at the summit are expensive and need to be booked in advance
1⃣6⃣Mount Laojun ticket is 100, round-trip for the first level cable car is 130, plus round-trip from Luoyang city center is 120, plus scenic sightseeing car is about 40, if you go by yourself it's around 390. Joining a tour includes all these for 260, isn't it nice to save the remaining 135 for a hotpot dinner at night
1⃣7⃣The highlight of Mount Laojun is the Ten-Mile Gallery (it takes about 2.5h to stroll through), all the popular photo spots are located in the Ten-Mile Gallery.
1⃣8⃣Cable car ascending closing time: 15:30 (don't leave for Mount Laojun from the city after 1 pm)
Mount Laojun
Mount Laojun is acclaimed as 'the unparalleled holy land under heaven, the foremost immortal mountain in the world.' Originally named Jingshi Mountain, it is located about three kilometers southeast of the county town of Luanchuan in Luoyang, an ancient capital of thirteen dynasties. It is the main peak of the Funiu Mountain Range, with the Jade Emperor Summit reaching an altitude of 2217 meters. The mountain has over two thousand years of cultural history and is the longest historical mountain range in Taoism.
During the Spring and Autumn period, Laozi, recognized as the founder of Taoism, retreated here to cultivate, making it the 'source of Taoism' and 'ancestral court.' The Northern Wei Dynasty began to build the Temple of Laojun on it to commemorate him. In the eleventh year of the Zhenguan era (637 AD), Emperor Taizong of Tang renovated the Iron Top Temple of Jingshi Mountain and named it 'Mount Laojun,' making it a sacred place for the mainstream Quanzhen sect of Taoism. In the thirty-first year of the Wanli era (1603 AD), Emperor Shenzong of Ming decreed Mount Laojun as a 'famous mountain under heaven,' and allocated funds to build temples, making it the only mountain range in Chinese history to be honored as a 'famous mountain under heaven' by imperial decree.
Journey to Mount Laojun: Finding the Beauty of Life in the Footsteps of History
The first rays of morning sunlight pierce through the mist, illuminating the summit of Mount Laojun, as if it's a mystical passage between heaven and earth, inviting every traveler to explore this ancient land. I embarked on the path to the mountain top, each step treading on the deep footprints of history, feeling the masterful work of nature.
As the altitude gradually increased, the hustle and bustle of the city faded away, replaced by the singing of birds and the rustling of leaves. I paused now and then to capture those heart-stirring moments with my camera: dewdrops twinkling on spider webs, wildflowers swaying in the breeze, and distant mountain peaks layered upon each other, resembling a fine ink painting.
Finally, standing at the highest point of Mount Laojun, looking down at the smaller mountains below, what surged in my heart was not only awe for nature but also a love for life and an endless longing for the future. Here is a paradise for travelers, and a haven for the soul.
Mount Laojun - This Article Is All You Need!! (Includes Photo-taking Tips)
A feast for the eyes in the human world, a glimpse of the grandeur of humanity! Mount Laojun is truly a worthwhile investment!
First comes the preparation work‼️
You must, must choose good weather, preferably a clear sunny day! The beauty of Mount Laojun gets a buff, stunningly beautiful!
If you go now, dress warmly! The temperature at the foot and the summit of the mountain are completely different. Hats, down jackets, thick warm trousers, thermal underwear, gloves!!!! Highlighted! Gloves are essential! Otherwise, your hands will really be too frozen to move😭 You don't need to bring a lot of water and food, especially food, it's not necessary. You can bring some chocolate to replenish your energy
🚗 Mount Laojun is in Luanchuan, a bit far from Luoyang city center. It takes about two and a half hours on the road. You can choose to drive yourself or join a tour group. I chose to join a tour, which is very convenient. The total cost for Mount Laojun's ticket + bus to the first cable car station + round-trip on the first cable car + bus back to the city center + a brief introduction by the guide is 265💰. If you go by yourself, the ticket for individual visitors is 100💰, and taxis can only go to the entrance of the scenic area, which is the tourist service center. You need to take a scenic shuttle, which is quite far, and costs 40💰 round trip, so I recommend that it's more cost-effective to join a tour!
🚠 I think you should take the first cable car, because if you don't, you generally need to climb for 5-6 hours, without much nice scenery, and those on a day trip won't have the stamina, especially someone like me who doesn't exercise regularly, must ride! But for the second cable car, you can choose not to take it and climb instead. It definitely takes about an hour and a half to reach the Ten Mile Gallery. But I took it anyway, haha. You must climb the Ten Mile Gallery yourself!! I think it's the most beautiful scenery of Mount Laojun, you can easily capture a rainbow halo🌈. If you really can't keep up your strength, you can choose to take the elevator to the Golden Summit. If you can't climb down the mountain, there's also a slide, but the guide said it's very dangerous, and the journey is very short, you can say it's effortless.
🍜 The first thing to do when you get to the Golden Summit is to buy instant noodles. I think the prices on the mountain are not very expensive, instant noodles + hot water cost between 12-15, which is acceptable. If you bring your own instant noodles, you still need to buy hot water (5💰) so it's better not to bring them.
🌠 There are also wishing plaques. I bought them at the foot of the mountain, 30💰 for 6. You can compare prices. I heard from other friends that it's quite cheap on the mountain too, and they give you a pen for free, so don't rush to buy! Maybe there's cheaper at the summit!
👗 I met many young ladies renting capes along the way. I didn't rent one, but I feel that black, white, and red are the best colors for photos! There are more colors and styles at the foot of the mountain. I went into all the shops on the mountain and didn't find them very attractive, a bit like studio style. If you want to rent, you can look at the foot of the mountain!
🏠 The accommodation at the summit is actually not very good, and it's a dry toilet, the water is also ice cold, not recommended
🌄 The lights on the Golden Summit are turned on around 5:20-5:30, and it gets especially cold at night, with strong winds. After watching the lights, be sure to hurry down the mountain, otherwise, it will be crowded like sardines😞
Mount Laojun is too crowded during the May Day holiday!!
As the May Day holiday approaches, many people plan to visit Mount Laojun during the holiday. Here is a suggestion for friends to try to avoid the holidays because there are really too many people, which greatly affects the travel experience! It is better to choose before May Day or after May 5th! With the editor's five hundred years of experience, it is not recommended to go to Mount Laojun during the holidays, take the advice!!
What should you pay attention to when visiting Mount Laojun? Hopefully, the following Q&A can help you, and if you can't find your answer, feel free to leave a message!!
1️⃣How many days are needed to visit Mount Laojun?
▫️One day is enough, one day is just right, one day leaves no regrets. (The development model of Mount Laojun is similar to that of Tianmen Mountain)
2️⃣What are the public transportation options for out-of-town tourists to Mount Laojun?
▫️There are direct buses to the Mount Laojun scenic area from the two train stations in Luoyang (Longmen Station) every day, with round trips in one day, directly to the first-level cable car ticket gate. There are two bus services each day, at 7 am and 10 am, which need to be booked one day in advance, with the same location for boarding and alighting. The last bus from Mount Laojun back to Luoyang city departs at 19:30.
▫️The price for a round-trip ticket on the direct bus from the train (high-speed rail) station is 88 per person.
▫️From Luoyang Bus Terminal, take a bus to Luan County, and get off at 'Mount Laojun Scenic Area', then walk to the Mount Laojun Ticket Center.
▫️In Luan County city, take the No. 5 bus and get off at the 'Mount Laojun Scenic Area' stop.
3️⃣What are the opening hours of the Mount Laojun scenic area?
▫️The spring business hours for the Mount Laojun scenic area are currently 8:00--18:00 every day. Since there is accommodation within the scenic area, tickets can be checked and entry is allowed 24 hours a day.
4️⃣What are the sunrise and sunset times at Mount Laojun?
▫️In spring, the sunrise is around 6:30 am, and the sunset is around 6:50 pm.
5️⃣What are the lighting times for the Golden Summit?
▫️The lights are turned on at 17:40 every day, lasting for about 30 minutes. The timing may be adjusted later when there are more people.
6️⃣ What is the difference between the first-level and second-level cable cars?
▫️The beautiful scenery of Mount Laojun is mainly at the top of the mountain (similar to the Tianmen Mountain model), and the first-level cable car is the tool for going up the mountain.
▫️Whether to take the second-level cable car depends on the situation. For example, during peak times, it takes more than an hour to queue for the second-level cable car to go down the mountain, which is the same time it takes to walk to the first-level cable car ticket gate. In this case, queuing for the cable car is meaningless.
▫️In summary, the first-level cable car is a must, the second-level cable car is optional.
7️⃣Eating instant noodles at the summit?
▫️There is plenty of instant noodles available at the summit, 12 yuan per bowl.
8️⃣What is the recommended touring route for Mount Laojun?
▫️The full cable car touring route, first-level cable car-second-level cable car-Ten Mile Gallery in full-Golden Summit Taoist Temples-cable car down the mountain.
9️⃣Recommended spots for night photography?
▫️Liangbao Terrace.
🔟What about the ticket costs for Mount Laojun?
▫️The main ticket is 100 (mandatory), small transport from the ticket gate to the cable car station (optional), 130 for the round-trip on the first-level cable car (recommended), 45+40 for the second-level cable car (can be bought separately).
▫️For out-of-town tourists, it is recommended to join a tour group, which can save the small transport fee from the ticket gate to the cable car station. Additionally, the tour guide on the bus will have group discount tickets for sale on the spot, which are cheaper than buying online.

【Mount Laojun】Traveling from afar to attend the astonishing banquet of humanity, to witness the grandeur of a prosperous era
📝 Mount Laojun, originally known as Jing Shi Mountain, is the main peak of the Funiu Mountain Range, which is an extension of the Qinling Mountains, with an elevation of 2200 meters. During the Western Zhou Dynasty, due to the 'Keeper of the Treasury' Li Er retreating here for seclusion and cultivation, Taoism revered him as the Supreme Laojun, and Emperor Taizong of Tang renamed it 'Mount Laojun'. 'Traveling from afar to attend the astonishing banquet of humanity, to witness the grandeur of a prosperous era,' many people have come to Mount Laojun because of this phrase. When it snows, one must visit Mount Laojun to see the golden summit.
