DAY1: Kinati Chariot-Temple of Hathor
DAY2: Karnak Temple-Luxor Temple
DAY3: Temple of Seti I in Luxor—Temple of Horus
DAY4: Kong Ompo Temple
DAY5: Abu Simbel Temples
🌸The total journey is about 661 miles, and the recommended travel time is about 5 days. It is suitable for history and humanities lovers.
💖Overview of attractions
✔️Temple of Horus. Horus is one of the most important gods in ancient Egypt. He is usually described as an eagle wearing an Egyptian crown. The pharaohs of ancient Egypt regarded themselves as the incarnation of Horus. The whole temple is not very big, there is only one main temple, and there is an eagle-head statue of Horus outside the temple.
✔️Kong Ompo Temple. "Kon Weng Po" means "Golden City" in ancient Egyptian. Like other temples, it also has tall stone pillars and dilapidated temples that look desolate, but what makes it unique is that it has two gates. One gate was built specifically for the falcon god Horus, and the other was built specifically for the crocodile god, so the Kom Ombo Temple is also called the "Twin Temples".
✔️Abu Simbel Temple. This is a temple built by Ramses II to show off himself and attempt to extend his life into the afterlife. The temple has two majestic tower doors, a pillar hall with 48 huge stone columns, two wide courtyards and three sanctuaries. There are also lifelike paintings on the stone walls of the atrium.
☀️Whether it is the majesty of the temple or the mystery of the pyramids, Egypt tells that distant and glorious history in its own unique way. Come, bring your curiosity and spirit of adventure, and embark on this journey through time and space together, letting your soul fly freely in the civilization of ancient Egypt!

Just returned from Egypt and I want to share some heartfelt words with everyone....
👉【About Visa】👈
Egypt currently offers visa on arrival for $25 per person, cash only. Make sure to prepare in advance as they do not accept credit cards. If you really don't have cash, there are two banks next to the visa counter where you can exchange money.
▪️
👉【About Travel Methods】👈
If it's a girl's first time visiting, it's best not to choose a self-guided tour. Although Egypt is generally safe, it's still easy to encounter scammers, and the chances of being overcharged for food, clothing, and other necessities are high. Moreover, Cairo and Luxor have many cultural and historical sites, and without a guide, you miss out on a lot of fun. It's recommended to choose a qualified travel agency for a group tour. If you feel that group tours are not free enough and the budget is higher, you can opt for a private tour.
▪️
👉【About Sun Protection】👈
Make sure to do a good job with sun protection! Physical sun protection is best, but chemical sun protection is also necessary! Once you get there, you'll understand that the temperature is really high and the sun is really strong. If you're not careful, you'll get several shades darker (don't ask me how I know, sob sob...)

Egypt is a nation filled with open-air museums everywhere!
Driving 500 kilometers from Cairo, you reach Luxor, where the attractions are divided between the East and West Banks. A must-experience is the hot air balloon ride at dawn, which only cost us a little over 400 RMB for two people, making it the cheapest hot air balloon ride in the world. After landing on the West Bank, you can continue to visit the Temple of Habu and the Valley of the Kings, which are very conveniently located. The main attractions on the East Bank are the Karnak Temple and the Luxor Temple. The Karnak Temple is the prototype for temple parkour, remember to go in the morning, or else the huge columns will quickly be out of light; the Luxor Temple can be visited in the afternoon and evening, as it is lit up at night, creating a mysterious atmosphere.
West Bank: Temple of Habu, Valley of the Kings
East Bank: Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple

Must visit Ancient Egyptian Temple
#2023TravelWish #vianasjourney #awesomepic
We visited Luxor temple as part of our Nile cruise trip. The Luxor temple is one of the main attractions of Luxor and is located in the middle of Luxor on the east bank of the Nile. The impressive statues and structures definitely makes this place worthwhile to visit. I would recommend visiting the temple during the evening, as the temperature cools down a bit. The lightened up statues during the evening paint an beautiful image. From the Luxor temple it is also possible to take a close look at the Avenue of Sphinxes that connects Luxor temple with the Karnak temple complex.

Luxor temple
Luxor temple is located at Luxor city. There are many people to visit this temple (field trip for children, tourists and local people). There are many students who study about drawing and they are painting the structure of the temple. Their drawings are so beautiful and creative. At the entrance, you can see many birds (I guess they are pigeons) over there,so you can take picture while birds are flying. #mytripvlog #egypt #luxor

Luxor Temple
Luxor Temple is a popular and impressive temple which you should visit if you are in Luxor. Expect to spent between two to three hours in this site. The temple is really well preserved and is a pleasure to see in person. I strongly recommend to visit this place during the day and during the night time, the lights makes the whole place to look stunning. There is no need to hire a guide, however, if you are into egyptian culture and want to know more about the history beahind, then you might need one. Local tour guides are abundant and not too expensive. One advantage is that this place closest very late. It is open to the public until 9:00 PM.

Luxor Temple: An Eternal Chapter of the Nile.
Luxor Temple is located in the ancient city of Luxor, Egypt. It is a magnificent temple built by Pharaoh Amenhotep III of the 18th Dynasty of ancient Egypt to worship the sun god Amun, his concubine, and his son, the moon god. This temple bears witness to the glorious religious and architectural achievements of ancient Egypt, and after thousands of years of wind and rain, it still exudes a mysterious and charming charm.
When you step into the Luxor Temple, the first thing that catches your eye is the spectacular Avenue of the Rams. The ram statues on both sides of the avenue are solemn and solemn, they are the symbol of the god Amun, as if silently guarding this sacred temple. The shape of the ram is exquisite, and each one shows the superb carving skills of the ancient Egyptian craftsmen. The curly horns and strong body all show strength and majesty. The hieroglyphs on the statue, although eroded by the years, are still clearly discernible, as if telling an ancient story.
Walking along the Avenue of the Rams, you will find the magnificent temple gate. The 25-meter-high gate is majestic, and the lintel is decorated with huge reliefs depicting the scene of the pharaoh offering sacrifices to the gods. The figures in the reliefs are lifelike, and the majesty of the pharaoh, the sanctity of the gods, and the piety of the people are all vividly portrayed. The sunlight shines on the gate, and the light and shadow are intertwined, adding a bit of mystery. Walking into the gate, the colonnade inside the temple is amazing. These huge stone pillars are like towering trees, supporting the sky of the temple. The stone pillars are covered with exquisite patterns and hieroglyphs, recording the myths, historical events, and religious ceremonies of ancient Egypt. Walking between the colonnades, it seems to travel through time and space, back to the mysterious and great ancient Egyptian era. Looking up, the lotus and papyrus capitals at the top of the stone pillars are exquisite, they are not only masterpieces of architectural decoration but also symbols of ancient Egyptian culture.

Luxor Temple
Luxor Temple, located in the center of Luxor on the east bank of the Nile River, is a significant symbol of ancient Egyptian religious and cultural history. The temple was primarily built during the reigns of Pharaohs Amenhotep III and Ramses II, dedicated to the Theban Triad of Amun, Mut, and Khonsu. Its magnificent architecture, including impressive pylons, obelisks, and expansive courtyards, showcases the brilliance and artistry of ancient Egyptian craftsmanship.
This temple was not only a place of worship but also a key site for various religious festivals, especially the Opet Festival, which celebrated the rejuvenation of pharaonic power. Luxor Temple's strategic location, directly connected to the Karnak Temple via the Avenue of Sphinxes, highlights its importance in the ancient capital of Thebes. The temple's design, sculptures, and hieroglyphs provide deep insights into Egypt's rich mythology and beliefs.
Luxor Temple, situated in the center of Luxor on the east bank of the Nile River, is a symbol of ancient Egyptian religious and cultural history and a must-visit attraction for tourists.

Scams everywhere? The most comprehensive guide to avoiding scams in Egypt.
1. Recommended attractions:
Pyramids: The pyramids have stood the test of time and remain magnificent. They are one of the Seven Wonders of the World and the most mature representative of ancient Egyptian pyramids.
Luxor Temple: There are many temples in Egypt, and we visited more than one, but I think Luxor Temple is the best! The carvings on the dome, walls, and stone pillars are well-preserved and exquisite!
Desert starry sky: In Siwa, watching the stars and sunset in the desert is a romantic experience. You can choose to go on the first evening, so you have more flexibility on the second day.
Sahara Desert: We didn't have time to see the sunset and starry sky in the desert. Our guide said he would take us to some niche places. Near the footprint site, we saw a wild rabbit. We were so excited that we shouted and forgot to take a photo.

2. FAQs:
1. Egyptian pound exchange rate: I left Egypt on April 15, and the exchange rate was 1:6.5. There is no black market exchange rate now!
2. Tickets: Only Visa cards are accepted. If you don't have one, try to find a Chinese person to help! Don't ask locals to avoid unnecessary trouble!
3. Language: The built-in Apple translator is very useful! Google Translate is also an option.
4. Safety: I personally feel quite safe. Female travelers are advised to find a companion. After all, there are good and bad people everywhere. It's always good to be cautious.

3. Tips for avoiding scams:
✅ If you don't plan to buy anything from the people selling souvenirs in scenic areas, don't respond to them or pay attention to them. These people are very persistent and hard to get rid of.
✅ There are many traps when riding camels at the pyramids. The price you agreed on may be increased halfway through or the other party may change their mind. They are very likely to go back on their word, so it's best to find a reliable person to negotiate the price.
✅ Some people will approach tourists in the name of helping them, being very enthusiastic and even speaking a few words of Chinese. Don't trust them.
✅ Never act alone, as many scammers will take advantage of the opportunity. Dress conservatively. Traveling in a group can greatly reduce the risk.
✅ Hotels in Egypt are not as good as those in China. They may be rated five stars, but the facilities are old and the towels and tissues are rough. Be sure to bring your own.
✅ Hotels in Egypt are not as good as those in China, but the five-star hotels we stayed in on our group tour were all good. Especially in Cairo, we stayed next to the pyramids. We could take photos with the pyramids at breakfast without the crowds. The location was great! The hotel also had a large garden, which I really liked.

Luxor Temple
Visiting the Luxor Temple was an incredible historical experience at the heart of ancient Egyptian civilization. The temple is characterized by its massive columns and magnificent sculptures that tell the stories and grandeur of the pharaohs. As I wandered between the columns, I marveled at the beauty of the geometric details and the precision of the inscriptions covering the walls. The nighttime lighting of the temple added a special charm, making the visit even more extraordinary. I enjoyed learning about the history of the kings who contributed to the construction of this great monument, such as Ramses II and Amenhotep III. The atmosphere was filled with history and grandeur, making me feel as if I were living a moment from the pharaohs' past.

Luxor Temple
Luxor Temple (Luxor Amon Temple) proves the glorious past of Luxor. It was built by Amenhotep III, the 19th pharaoh of the 18th Dynasty of ancient Egypt (reigned from 1398 to 1361 BC), to worship the sun god Amon, his consort, and their son, the moon god. In the late 18th Dynasty, it was expanded by Ramses II, forming the scale that remains today.
The Avenue of Sphinxes leads worshippers from the banks of the Nile to the forecourt built by Nectanebo I. From here, an avenue lined with hundreds of sphinx statues stretches northeast. In ancient times, this avenue connected Luxor Temple with Karnak Temple, 2.5 kilometers away. As of 2004, modern Luxor city buildings still stood on this avenue, but the city government had begun to clear it. During the time of Nectanebo I, trees and flowers were planted between the sphinx statues.

Luxor Temple (6)
After passing through the first courtyard, visitors enter a colonnade composed of 7 pairs of papyrus bundle columns. Shortly after the entrance of the colonnade, there are statues of pharaohs on both sides, followed by a pair of seated statues depicting Amun and Mut. Although these statues bear the name of Ramses, stylistically they should have been made during the Eighteenth Dynasty of Egypt. The walls on both sides of the colonnade are decorated with scenes of the Opet Festival.
Behind the colonnade is a courtyard built by Amenhotep III. It is also surrounded on three sides by double rows of papyrus columns. To the south of the second courtyard, there is a hypostyle hall supported by 4x8 columns. Its reliefs depict Amenhotep III before the gods of Thebes and his coronation. On either side, there are small temples dedicated to Mut and Khonsu respectively.

Egypt : Luxor Temple
It is an open-air museum. Worth visiting! But avoid the midday heat. Blazing sun oh my god !
Alternatively, you may sit in a three-storey Mcdonalds opposite the road. You can still see the Luxor temple clearly through the windows and with air conditioning.
The ticket box accepts credit card. Some would suggest coming around 5 or 6pm. When the light is on, Luxor Temple looks even more fascinating.
The avenue of sphinxes was a bit disappointing cos they were not well preserved. Many faces were ruined already....

Marvel at the splendor of Luxor Temple
Luxor in Egyptian is "ipet resyt", meaning southern sacred place, is a temple complex located on the east bank of the Nile River, within the city of Luxor (ancient Thebes), Egypt. The temple was built in 1400 BC by Amenhotep III and Alexander and completed by Tutankhamun and Ramesses II with an area of 4.75 hectares.
Different from the remaining temples in Luxor city, Luxor Egyptian Temple not only worships the three gods of ancient Egypt, Amun, Mut and Chons, but is also a place for coronation ceremonies for kings and becomes a cannon. castle as well as the residence of the Roman governors when occupying Egypt.
Before being found, the temple went through many tragedies: it was buried by desert sand, burned and destroyed by Arabs and Christians, so only half of the structure remained. . By 1885, archaeologists had to dig up an entire village to "unearth" this temple, which has been protected to this day.
Luxor Temple was built mainly with sandstone taken from the Gebel Silsileh quarry located southwest of the city of Luxor. This is also the type of stone often used to reconstruct temple ruins in Upper Egypt.
