Chongqing actually hides the anime world of Hayao Miyazaki, a super healing treasure spot!
This super healing travel treasure spot is not yet widely known by tourists from other places. It is located in the midst of a bustling area, but as soon as you step into that alley, you will find yourself entering a romantic fairy tale world. There, you will find a very distinctive hot pot restaurant, as well as old Chongqing houses and more.
📍Detailed address:
56 Ma'anshan, Nan'an District, Chongqing.
🚉Transportation strategy:
You can take the subway line 6 to Shangxinjie Station.
🌟Highlights and features:
It can be said that taking photos here for social media is incredibly picturesque everywhere you go. There is a Gaiwan tea hot pot restaurant, which is a renovated abandoned warehouse. The owner is a girl from Sichuan, and the interior decoration is very distinctive. The second floor even has many old items from the 1980s. The owner is very nice, and even if you don't spend anything, she is very enthusiastic and welcoming for you to go in and take photos.
As you ascend the steps, there are many cute and different Totoros of various sizes along the road, colorful signs, log cabins, and yellow horn trees. Especially in the evening, when the lights are on, the romantic feel of the fairy tale world is fully enhanced. Every step offers a new view, and you can take amazing photos anywhere without having to squeeze through crowds like at Hongya Cave.

To experience the authentic old Chongqing, you have to be here!
What you see in Hongya Cave is a later construction, and the Liberation Monument has been renovated countless times, but the genuine old Chongqing, with its stilted buildings, old houses, old steps, ancient trees, and more, can still be found in abundance in the Ma'anshan community of the Nan'an district. You definitely won't see them on the main streets; you need to delve into those small alleys, walk slowly, and feel the atmosphere at your own pace. This set of photos was taken in the Longmao Street of the Ma'anshan community, where local Chongqing residents live. It's common to see porters carrying goods with shoulder poles, and elderly people sitting on the steps chatting.
If you want to experience the true essence of old Chongqing and the real life of the locals, then coming here is definitely the right choice!

Ma'anshan Community Park
Today, I embarked on a mysterious journey to Ma'anshan Community Park. Here hides a surprising Totoro Street, with lively and cute Totoro sculptures lining both sides of the street. They seem to be winking at me, exuding a warm atmosphere, welcoming my arrival. There are also various small shops here, full of handicrafts, which are dazzling. And the snack stalls on the side of the road, with tempting aromas, make people drool. Walking here, it's like being in a fairy-tale world, which makes me intoxicated and linger. This magical journey is unforgettable, and I sincerely recommend everyone to experience this mysterious and beautiful place.
