Madam Tussaud Sentosa
#singapore
Located in Sentosa, Madam Tussaud is a great exploration of understanding Singapore slightly more and also meeting the wax figures of famous people in and out of Singapore.
Suitable for young to old, they remained intrigued with what they see. the experience is made even better with the 4D theatre show on Marvels and the boat ride to see different cultures. Definitely a place I would like to go again

Highlights:
At first I thought it would be boring but surprisingly it was fun, especially when I saw the wax version of the founding father of modern Singapore, Mr. Lee Kuan Yew, and Mrs Lee. The wax figure is based on a photo taken at a Valentine's Day event. Omg it was so real and sweet!
The crowd wasn't too bad that day. I managed to take a lot of photos with the wax figures I like. It was divided into few zones, TV & Film, Sports, and IIFA Awards Experience. There were quite a few local celebrities wax figures, like JJ, Stefanie Sun, Zoe Tay, Gurmit Singh, and footballer Fandi Ahmad.
Other popular activities are Marvel 4D Universe, K-Wave Zone, Spirit of Singapore Boat Ride and VR Racing Experience. Highly recommended.

Artsy-Fartsy at Madame Tussauds wax museum
Visit Madame Tussauds Singapore to get artsy-fartsy! You can walk thorough all the 5 different experiences available starting with the Ultimate Film Star Experience, Images of Singapore, Sprit of Singapore Boat Ride and ending at Marvel Universe that has an interactive 4D movie that comes with special effects of water spraying at you and “rocking” seats.
I took lots of photos with the wax figures. My favourites are notable figures such as PM Lee, Stephanie Sun and Jay Chou. Also, many photo taking opportunities with the props and backdrops provided.
Additionally, there is a part that allows you to experience an air raid from the past with special effects of mist and air raid siren.
You can book a ticket that includes the VR Racing Experience to get a thrill from driving a VR racing car. I opted for this and it was a fun experience.
There is also a souvenir shop at the museum to get your Madame Tussauds merchandise.

Local and international famous personalities
It was really easy to get tickets to Madame Tussauds Singapore wax museum! We got ours at the counter itself but there is the option of pre-purchasing them online.
As we were making our way through the different zones, we got to see different famous personalities from different countries! There was a music area with stars like Michael Jackson, Beyoncé and Lin Jun Jie. There was also another area with sports personalities like David Beckham and Muhammad Ali. Not forgetting the Korean celebrities, there was one where we could form a heart shape and combine it with hers for a photo shot!
My overall rating of the experience: 3 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Madame Tussauds Singapore - International Stars
Address: 40 Imbiah Rd, Sentosa, 099700
How to go: Take Sentosa Bus and alight at Imbiah Lookout or Take Cable Car Sentosa Line to Imbiah Lookout
The next zone in Madame Tussauds has got to be my favourite. In this same zone, there is also a world leaders zone and a newly added Korean wave zone.
You can get up close with famous leaders. In this International Stars zone, you also can spot our JJ L with his own stage. You can use the props to make your photos look better. For example, having breakfast a Tiffany to being on TV Show with O herself. There is even Jay C here at the stage too. You will definitely be star-struck right here. Towards the next zone, you also can experience the Bollywood Award experience.
Over here, you don’t walk the red carpet. You will walk the green carpet because of the green screen. So you can superimpose yourself onto the stage.
Then you will enter the K-wave zone and you can complete the korean heart and ladies can chase their Oppas. There is also a sakura backdrop for some photo ideas too. You can spend your whole afternoon chasing after celebrities here.

Madame Tussauds Singapore - Local Stars
Address: 40 Imbiah Rd, Sentosa, 099700
How to go: Take Sentosa Bus and alight at Imbiah Lookout or Take Cable Car Sentosa Line to Imbiah Lookout
After completing the Spirits of Singapore boat ride, you will enter the Local Stars zone. Be prepared to identify your favourite local stars. The first wax figurine I chanced upon is the same man on my money, the first president of Singapore, Yusof Bin Ishak. Then I see our famous contractor, Phua Chu Kang. The entire zone is spacious and all the wax figurines are designed for you to take selfies with. If you look close enough, the wax figurines are so realistic looking. You can even count their eye lashes up close. My favourite wax figurine is Stephanie Sun, our famous pop-diva singer. I have not seen her in real life and I am surprised she is so petite in size. As their wax figures are modelled as accurately as possible to the celebrities, you can see how tall/short, big/small from their wax figurines. Then we also have famous on-screen celebrities Zoe Tay and film director Jack Neo too. The lighting at Madame Tussaud is good for photo taking. So all your photos will turn out looking good too.

Madame Tussauds Singapore - Spirits of Singapore boat ride
Address: 40 Imbiah Rd, Sentosa, 099700
How to go: Take Sentosa Bus and alight at Imbiah Lookout or Take Cable Car Sentosa Line to Imbiah Lookout
This zone took me by surprise. I did not know there was an actual boat ride at Madame Tussauds Singapore. The boat ride was a pretty short ride but you get to see an amazing display. It did feel like I was inside Madagascar A Crate Adventure boat ride in Universal Studios Singapore. This boat ride will bring you through fantasy and everything will come to live. There is even a merlion spouting water too!. Don’t forget to look up too and you will see Singapore Airlines flying above Marina Bay Sands. Then next to you, our F1 night race ferrari sports car. Lastly, at the last segment, you can see local cultures such as Indian temples and Chinese New Year decorations before arriving back at the start point. This boat ride is indeed a new experience at Madame Tussauds Singapore.

Madame Tussauds Singapore - Walkthrough of Singapore’s History
Address: 40 Imbiah Rd, Sentosa, 099700
How to go: Take Sentosa Bus and alight at Imbiah Lookout or Take Cable Car Sentosa Line to Imbiah Lookout
This is a rediscovery zone of Singapore back in her olden days. The kids had fun knowing how life was back in the olden days. No ipads, no air-air condition and no TV. This Images of Singapore zone is really interesting. You get to see how Singapore transforms herself from a fishing village to today’s big city. It is really an eye opening to see who our forebuilders are, especially our iconic samsui women. There are also many photo opportunities and in particular, the trishaw exhibit is pretty amazing. You can sit in the tishaw and have another friend pretending to pull the trishaw. Then step into the Jubilee cinema and watch a show. Take note here, the phone will ring and you will have to pick it up. Then the air raid siren will go off and you have to run to the nearest bomb shelter. This zone also has no time limit so you can take your time to examine all of their exhibits.

Complimentary boat ride at Madame Tussauds
Address - Madame Tussauds Singapore, 40 Imbiah Road, Sentosa Island, Singapore 099700
Our entry tickets to Madame Tussauds included a cool boat ride called The Spirit Of Singapore, which is actually the first ever ride in the history of Madame Tussauds museums around the world!
I thought it was a great idea and addition as it breaks up the monotony of just walking around to look at wax figures. It gave us a different mode of viewing the wax figures on display. However, I felt that the ride could’ve been longer as it was only a short loop.
My overall rating of the experience: 3 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️

If you’re a Singaporean or a foreigner who is interested to get a feel of how Singapore used to look like in the olden days, definitely check out the Images of Singapore here at Madame Tussauds!
There are scenes of Raffles signing the contract to govern Singapore, the tiny bedrooms where coolies slept, marketplaces where common folks bought and sold goods. There was even a simulation space where you could hear and feel what an air raid might’ve been like back in the war!

Located in-between the Imbiah tram station and Imbiah Lookout, Madame Tussauds is pretty easy to get to especially if you’re driving. The carpark is right next to the museum but do note that it is not sheltered.
There are a total of 5 zones within the museum! We visited the Bollywood zone where we saw famous Bollywood stars that looked super life-like. There was one display where you can literally take a selfie with the wax figure and send the photo to yourself to keep as a souvenir!

Meet the stars at Madame Tussauds
#moreinsg
Unable to meet your favourite artiste in person due to travel restrictions or just no chance to? Feels like a distant dream to do so? Madam Tussauds gives you the opportunity to meet the stars in the form of life sized wax figurines. Originating from London, it has since landed in Singapore and other parts of the world.
The difference between the local branch and that of overseas, is probably the fact that they have added wax figures of local talents from the entertainment or sports industry whom we have grown up watching or listening to them, and famous local politicians.
It is amazing how they made the wax figures, down to every minute detail of the actual person himself or herself; even every strand of hair was painstakingly added to the head themselves. They look so life like, that you will really feel like you are meeting them in person.
Was not a big fan of dolls as I feel they are creepy (think horror movies like Annabelle), but had fun trying to pose with the wax figures. There was also a video on how they got the wax figure up in great detail. Some of those who got the wax figures made even donated their own clothes to dress them up, which makes the wax figures even more realistic.

#exploresgtogether Madame Tussauds needs no introduction and this really famous wax museum also has a home in #sentosa island in #singapore
It is located at one of the high points in Sentosa where the Imbiah look out is, and aside from climbing and walking up or taking a car, you can also take a cable car, both the main line and the Sentosa Island line stops near the wax museum.
The exhibits change every now and then so you won’t get bored by visiting multiple times. Aside from Western movie stars, they now have Korean stars and sporting legends for you to take a snapshot with. Do check it out if you are at the Imbiah area in Sentosa.

#singaporetrip
Visited to Madame Tussauds is one of the wonderful experience while in Singapore. Located at the Imbiah Lookout on Sentosa Island, it's the only wax museum in Singapore.
The museum layout is well-designed, detail of the wax figures is remarkable, captures the essence of celebrities and historical figures alike. "Spirit of Singapore" and Marvel Universe 4D at Madame Tussauds are the major highlights and keeps you mesmerized from start to finish. In fact one thing i really love that we were able to interacting with the world's most famous icons, take funny photos or videos making it an enjoyable experience.
If you are coming from Universal Studios Singapore, take the Sentosa Express from Waterfront Station to Imbiah Station or a 10 to 15 minutes walk to Madame Tussauds Singapore.

the best museum in Sentosa island think it is an ordinary museum? think again.with boat rides VR racing experiences and film star showcases, how can this museum be passed off as ordinary?
What's more, there is a Marvel 4D film show that lasts for 8 minutes. there will be water being sprayed at you for the appropriate moment or seemingly real interactions with the characters
