Address - Makansutra Gluttons Bay, 8 Raffles Avenue, #01-15, Esplanade Mall, Singapore 039802
Makansutra Gluttons Bay is a open-air food court that is dedicated to serving authentic, delicious Singaporean heritage dishes! It has been operating since 2005 and is a local favourite haunt for good food and good vibes.
It is located right next to the iconic Esplanade theatre, which is great for a before or after show dinner. However, do note that because it is open-air, rainy weather might put a downer on your plans. There are other indoor restaurants in the area so they can be alternatives if this happens.
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

MAKANSUTRA GLUTTONS BAY
Makansutra Gluttons Bay
Founded in 1997 by photojournalist KF Seetoh, Makansutra celebrates the diverse food culture that we have here in Singapore. Here at Gluttons Bay, indulge in a variety of local street food such as satay, oyster omelette and fried carrot cake. Handpicked by Makansutra, each hawker will leave you more than satisfied with the tastes of Singapore.
Surrounded by retro-inspired push-carts and offering a spectacular view of the Marina Bay skyline, this open-air, moon-lit food centre is a hotspot for visitors
Food is pretty good, prices acceptable, and most of the stallholders are relatively friendly.

Local Authentic Food
#2024wish
My 2024 travel wish is to visit Hangzhou. I would like to try out their local food. I would like to visit their exhibition gallery Hall there too. I hope to know more about their culture and traditions too.
If you are looking for our local authentic food, then you should visit the glutton by the bay. They have a wide range of local favourite food. They include the pork rib in herbal soup, the marinated meat in chicken beef or mutton, in a stick. Fresh seafood such as the oyster and the stingray. Also, you will find mango sticky rice there too. I will recommend the place which is just a few minutes walk from the Esplanade Theatre
