Ancient village - Manzhang Village

Took a didi to the village which is about 30-40 minutes from downtown Jinghong. The fare to get there is well worth it - did pottery and flower pictures and they even can teach you how to do tapestry! Food available on every corner by the locals! Probably our best day out and great to keep children occupied!

One of my favourite parts of this visit was spitting all the different dragon sculptures as part of the temples. The small village, which can be walked through in half an hour just by strolling, can provide a long and enjoyable visit when accompanied by children playing along the way. The kids also have a great time!
