We love Sydney.
There are plenty of playgrounds, national parks, parks and beaches. This playground by the Maroubra beach is one of our favourite. 😊
Kids love the Pirates themed with wooden ship with the usual slides, climbing ropes; there are benches around the place and spacious areas of grass for picnics.
It’s perfect even for summer because the huge shade cloth covers the play areas, and it’s windy from the ocean breeze.
Toilet and coffee joints nearby at the pavilion.

Maroubra Beach one of the famous beach in Sydney . Most of the tourists know Bondi beach, Coogee beach. However, Maroubra is a nice, full of local vibe, not busy & less tourist spot to visit.
There are some nice cafe & restaurants in front of the beach you can grab your coffee & a pie to enjoy the blue sky & ocean. Sniffing the ocean smell & enjoy the more local
atmosphere.
If you want to feel & see something more local but less tourist, highly recommend Maroubra.
