Beautiful temple and very serene. Located up the hill. But getting there would be a challenge. It would be nice if they can provide a decent shuttle bus stop with a clear sign and a sheltered chair. Waiting on a very hot weather is very unpleasant. Free shuttle bus to A-ma cultural village also has no definite time schedule.

Lingguang on the Sea: Visiting the Mazu Cultural Village
Climbing to the top of Coloane Hill, the Mazu Cultural Village unfolds like a painting before your eyes. Surrounded by the blue sea, a gentle breeze carrying the salty scent of the ocean brushes your face, creating a serene and solemn atmosphere that instantly takes you away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The towering statue of Mazu stands on the verdant hilltop, her kind and benevolent expression seemingly watching over the vast waves, protecting the safety of the fishermen at sea. As you ascend the stone steps, the relief carvings on either side depict the legends of Mazu, vividly telling the touching stories of this sea goddess. Entering the temple, the air is filled with the scent of incense, and devotees earnestly pray for favorable weather and prosperous families.
Gazing into the distance where the sea meets the sky, the sunlight glistens on the shimmering sea surface, as if coating this sacred place with a layer of holy golden light. At this moment, an inexplicable sense of peace and emotion arises in your heart. As you leave and look back at the statue of Mazu, her loving expression remains, bidding farewell to every visitor who comes to pray, instilling a sense of reverence for the ocean and faith.
