PANCIT MOLO IN MOLO, ILO-ILO CITY
I craved for Pancit Molo-that which resembles Chinese Wanton Soup. Trip.com brings me from Manila to Ilo-ilo City. From the city, i ride on a jeepney and reach the municipality of Molo which was originally the Parian or China town. After eating Pancit Molo, i proceeded to Molo Church which is a National Landmark because of history and the only Gothic church outside Manila. I went to Molo Mansion and see its decorative carvings. True enough, learning is travelling. A lot of things I will never learn inside the classroom. Life is the biggest classroom. Travelling is the best vehicle for learning. Molo Plaza at Night
This public plaza is a nice place for hangouts during this pandemic season since it is an open space. The lights and parols that hang on trees and around the streets gives it a festive feeling even at night. Children can have fun in the play area while adults can hang at the benches. There are also a bountiful amount of vendors selling different kinds of street food that you can enjoy. The so called Molo mansion is located just across the Molo plaza. In there, customers can also dine or just have a cup of coffee or tea and they may check the beautiful architecture of the mansion. Inside it also holds different products handmade by the locals in the city. #awesomepic

Iloilo City’s Molo Mansion
The Yusay-Consing mansion, fronting the Molo plaza and St Anne Parish Church, used to be a neglected property. It was restored and renovated after SM Corporation bought it and was opened for public in 2015.
Inside is a souvenir shop that showcases local artistry and craftsmanship that brings together different products from all over the Philippines ranging from Philippine traditional clothing, mugs, vases, keychains, bags, figurines and a lot more.
Tourists and visitors can also dine at the cafes and restaurants in an al fresco setting outside the mansion.
The mansion is also open for events, exhibits, bazaars and photoshoots like pre/post nuptials.

Come and visit the popular Molo Mansion
The Molo Mansion, also known as the Yusay-Consing Mansion, is one of the most outstanding historical homes in the Philippines. Among its most notable features are its high ceilings, Neoclassical balustrades, and decorative carvings. It stands across the town plaza and St. Anne Parish Church in the Molo district. The mansion was constructed in the 1920s and was first occupied by Dona Petra Lacson, who married Estanislao Yusay, Manila's judge of the Court of First Instance at the time. They eventually welcomed ten children together.
After the family moved out of the mansion, former Iloilo governor Timoteo Consing Sr. lived in the house. Over the years, the house also hosted two Philippine Presidents, Manuel L. Quezon and Sergio Osmena, during their official trips to Iloilo. Unfortunately, the house was neglected years after but was restored by a private company after it was bought from the Consing family in 2014. Since its restoration, the mansion has been turned into a heritage museum with a souvenir shop that sells local products and delicacies as well.
