# THE MUNICH RESIDENZ, MUNICH.
The Residenz (German: [ʁesiˈdɛnts], Residence) in central Munich is the former royal palace of the Wittelsbach monarchs of Bavaria.
The Residenz is the largest city palace in Germany and is today open to visitors for its architecture, room decorations, and displays from the former royal collections.
The complex of buildings contains ten courtyards and displays 130 rooms. The three main parts are the Königsbau (near the Max-Joseph-Platz), the Alte Residenz (Old Residenz; towards the Residenzstraße) and the Festsaalbau (towards the Hofgarten). A wing of the Festsaalbau contains the Cuvilliés Theatre since the reconstruction of the Residenz after World War II. It also houses the Herkulessaal (Hercules Hall), the primary concert venue for the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra.
The Byzantine Court Church of All Saints (Allerheiligen-Hofkirche) at the east side is facing the Marstall, the building for the former Court Riding School and the royal stables.

THE VACATIONER!
Odeon Platz
Odeonsplatz is a square located in the city center of Munich, Germany. It is named after the Odeon, a concert hall that was built on the square in the early 19th century. The square is surrounded by several important buildings, including the Feldherrnhalle, a historic loggia that was built in the 1840s. The square is a popular tourist destination, as it is close to many of Munich's main attractions, such as the Frauenkirche, the Hofbräuhaus, and the Marienplatz. It is also an important transportation hub, with several tram and bus lines passing through the square.

LEAVING THE ANTIQUARIUM, WE CONTINUED WALKING TO THE SCHATZKAMMER WHICH HOUSES THE BAVARIAN CROWN JEWELS.THEN, TO THE RESIDENCE PALACE MUSEUM AND FINALLY THE ROOMS AND CHAPELS. THE OPULENCE OF THE ROYALS WHO HAVE LIVED IN THE RESIDENZ IS SHOWN THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE ARCHITECTURE.

The net red card in Munich, Germany is hidden in the palace? !
Munich Palace Mnchen Residenz Located in the old town, the Munich Palace is connected by 10 large and small irregular courtyard buildings. Its really an ordinary municipal building, one that doesnt pay attention, you may miss even the entrance. But there is an unexpected luxury inside the palace, which records the trajectories of the emperors living here, and also witnessed the glorious history of Bavaria from 1385 to 1918.
.
There are two routes in the tour, one is short and one is long. For the sight control like me, it is definitely the longest route to choose. Because of this, I have been lost in it for a long time, because there are so many rooms in the Munich Palace, and some rooms are not open, so you will walk around the road, sometimes you can't find the direction when you walk. .
.
There is a hall in the palace called: Antiquarium (The Hall of Antiquities), which is now the red dot in the red ins, because it is really super nice to take pictures, you can refer to the bag Let's take a photo.

Witness the Legacy of Royalty at Munich 🤩
🏰✨ Stepping into the Munich Residenz felt like a journey through time, a rendezvous with centuries of history and opulence. The grandeur of this royal palace is nothing short of awe-inspiring, with its regal facades, ornate interiors, and sprawling courtyards.
As I wandered through the lavish rooms, each adorned with exquisite craftsmanship, I couldn't help but feel transported to an era of elegance and refinement. The Residenz is a living testament to the legacy of Bavarian monarchs, and every room tells a story of political intrigue, artistic patronage, and cultural evolution.
The Antiquarium, Europe's largest Renaissance hall, left me breathless with its vastness and intricate ceiling frescoes. The Throne Room, adorned in gold leaf and sumptuous fabrics, exuded an air of majesty that echoed the power of the Wittelsbach dynasty.
The Court Garden, a lush oasis in the heart of the palace complex, provided a serene escape. The meticulously manicured lawns and vibrant flower beds created a tranquil setting, offering a stark contrast to the opulence within the palace walls.

MAGNIFICENT MUNICH RESIDENZ!
THE MUNICH RESIDENCE SERVED AS THE SEAT OF GOVERNMENT AND RESIDENCE OF THE BAVARIAN DUKES, ELECTORS AND KINGS FROM 1508 TO 1918. WHAT BEGAN IN 1385 AS A CASTLE IN THE NORTH-EASTERN CORNER OF THE CITY (THE NEUVESTE, OR NEW CITADEL), WAS TRANSFORMED BY THE RULERS OVER THE CENTURIES INTO A MAGNIFICENT PALACE, ITS BUILDINGS AND GARDENS EXTENDING FURTHER AND FURTHER INTO THE TOWN.
THE ROOMS AND ART COLLECTIONS SPANNING A PERIOD THAT BEGINS WITH THE RENAISSANCE, AND EXTENDS VIA THE EARLY BAROQUE AND ROCOCO EPOCHS TO NEOCLASSICISM, BEAR WITNESS TO THE DISCRIMINATING TASTE AND THE POLITICAL AMBITION OF THE WITTELSBACH DYNASTY.
MUCH OF THE RESIDENCE WAS DESTROYED DURING THE SECOND WORLD WAR, AND FROM 1945 IT WAS GRADUALLY RECONSTRUCTED. TODAY, WITH THE MUSEUMS OF THE BAVARIAN PALACE ADMINISTRATION (THE RESIDENCE MUSEUM ITSELF, THE TREASURY AND THE CUVILLIÉS THEATRE) ALONG WITH OTHER CULTURAL INSTITUTIONS, THIS IS ONE OF THE LARGEST MUSEUM COMPLEXES IN BAVARIA

THE VACATIONER!
Munich exudes Bavarian enchantment. Beer fanatics should head immediately to the Hofbräuhaus, a hops heaven that’s been churning out the good stuff since 1589. The drinking is downright legendary during Oktoberfest, a celebration of local beers and German specialty foods. Emulate world-class athletes at the Olympiapark, where skating on the Olympic ice rink will make you feel like a champion. The promenade of Marienplatz is perfect for people watching and gawking at the Glockenspiele of City Hall.

The Royal Palace of Munich is the royal palace of the former Bavarian monarch, located in the heart of Munich, Germany. It is Munich's most attractive place of interest. The palace is the largest city palace in Germany and is currently open to visitors, displaying its architecture, interiors and royal collections. The Munich Royal Palace consists of ten courtyards and museums with 130 exhibition rooms.
Behind the subway station is the Royal Palace Garden. There is an arch that is especially like the main entrance of the attraction. It is very imposing. However, this was only an illusion. Later, I asked local people to know that the real attraction gate on theatinerstrae is a very inconspicuous door, which is the real entrance.
The appearance of the palace is unremarkable. The interior decoration styles vary from period to period. There are many luxurious and beautiful decorations. It is normal to spend the day in the building. The museum is divided into two parts, the Royal Palace Museum and the Treasure Hall. The audio guide at the entrance does not require additional money. There is an explanation in English. The signage in the hall is very clear and reasonable in design. It will not miss the exhibits, which shows the manager's intention.
Antiquities Exhibition Hall This hall is used to house the huge antique collection of the Wittelsbach family. The vaulted dome is full of murals. It is widely regarded as the best Renaissance interior design model in the northern Alps. This stunning arched hall is also the iconic perspective of the entire Munich palace. Walking in the meantime, it seems that every step is the entrance of the time and space tunnel, and you can always go back to the fresh era of singing and dancing in the whole palace. The
old palace and antiquities gallery is the largest part of the museum. The rooms in the palace are decorated in different styles. The different styles of Baroque, Rococo and Renaissance are reflected here. This is the first Residenz to take a photo on this trip, but it's less luxurious than Linderhof's, and a level of the former Wrzburg official.
At the end of the tour, the climax, highlights should be Porcelain Cabinet built for porcelain and red Ornate Room with a small copy of the famous painting (full of thumbnails, whether there is visual sense) is a no Unrestricted visit highlights.
The last Ancestral Galleria with a portrait of the Vettelbach people is the most fascinating of the Rococo style. In fact, it should be the first room that people saw when they saw the royal family. In addition to letting you know the big family that is flourishing, it also gives you a glimpse of the grandeur of the palace.
Shirley Zhu.
Although the palace of Munich is the royal palace of the former Bavarian monarch, it is only one of the countless small kingdoms in Germany, but it is not small.
Walk in the garden outside the palace, we take pictures at will, although the weather is cold, but it does not prevent some Westerners from sitting on the stool to talk about love.
I didnt expect the exterior of the palace to look like a comparison of a large number of palaces in France, but the interior is quite worth seeing. Various Baroque, Rococo, and Renaissance-style decorations can be seen everywhere, although there are some It was rebuilt after World War II was destroyed, but it did not hinder this as a place with very high artistic value.
