|How to visit Mutianyu Great Wall with the least crowds? .
We went to Mutianyu at that time and were the first wave of tourists to arrive. When we arrived, the staff had not yet gone to work and the ropeway had not yet opened, so we took a lot of photos of Mutianyu with only the scenery and no other tourists ~ I also hope that I The guide can help everyone
Try to avoid going to Mutianyu Great Wall on Mondays.
Because all museums in Beijing are closed on Mondays, there will be more people at the Great Wall, and there will also be traffic jams on Mondays. We chartered a bus there on a Wednesday on a working day. From the time we went up to the time we came down, we saw no more than 20 tourists in total~
There may be a lot of people during holidays, so it is recommended to charter a car.
The chartered bus departs at 6 o'clock and arrives before the gate opens at 7.30. This was the case for us at the time. When we arrived, the ropeway was not open yet, so we waited for a while before going in. When we first went up, there were only three of us. I saw that the bus at the front door would leave at 8 or 9 o'clock, but it was almost noon when we arrived, so I decisively gave up and chose a chartered bus. Before chartering a car, remember to confirm whether the shuttle bus ticket is included. The car we chartered went directly to the parking lot in Figure 2, and we didn’t even have to go there to queue up for the shuttle bus. !Make emphasis!
Avoid Mondays, charter a car and arrive early~
How to climb the Great Wall at Mutianyu, as shown in Figure 3
It is divided into two lines: the west line and the east line, and there are three ways: walking, ropeway/pulley, and cable car.
West Line: Cable car up and down. The cable car arrives at Watchtower No. 14, and goes from Watchtower No. 14 to Watchtower No. 20 to take photos of Haohan Slope, and then returns to Watchtower No. 14 and gets off the cable car.
East Route: Cableway/Speedway: You can go up and down the cableway, or you can go up and down the cableway and the pulley, both of which go back and forth from the No. 6 watchtower. The combination we chose at that time is shown in Figure 4
East and West Lines: If you want to experience both the East and West Lines, there are two ways. One is to take the cable car up and down the No. 14 Watchtower, and then go up the cableway to the No. 6 Watchtower and go down the slide. In this way, you can experience all three modes of transportation and both the East and West Lines. Second, go to the No. 14 watchtower on the cable car. Walk from the No. 14 watchtower to the No. 6 watchtower and go down the ropeway or slide. This is a bit of a test of physical strength. Regarding the fare for climbing the Great Wall
Cable cars, ropeways, slides, etc. all cost 100 yuan for a single trip and 140 yuan for a round trip, so consider buying tickets in advance and don’t waste money~
It’s really easy to take photos of the Great Wall with only the scenery~ I hope my guide can help everyone. If you like it, remember to like and save it.
