Botanical Garden🌷, Nanjing
Nanjing botanical Garden in Zhongshan mountain is a best place to visit during the spring 🌸🌷🌹. I took this pictures in mid of March. Tulip blossom will be in March and early April. Entrance fee for each person is 45 RMB 💴 and purchase with Alipay or Wechat from entrance. Now due to the pandemic health code and travel code is must for entering the garden.
Getting there : Nearest metro station 🚇 is Muxuyuan line 2 which is 1,6 km away from the botanical Garden. Follow the sign for exit 1. Sightseeing buses are available or can take the paid cycles. Cycling will not be easy since it is uphill.

There are not many people in the North Park, you can have the whole garden to yourself!
In front is the Monet Garden, behind are the already yellow leaves, the color layers are amazing! There are also small paths in the garden for taking photos, so you can take photos of the flowers without stepping on them!
The important thing is that the North Park ticket is only 15! Annual pass is free! You owe it to yourself to go!

A Fairytale World in Autumn: Nanjing Zhongshan Botanical Garden.
Location: South Garden, Zhongshan Botanical Garden
The first wave of flowers didn't bloom well this summer, but the second wave of cosmos in October bloomed particularly well.
Arrive at the South Garden at 9 am to take photos of the cosmos. There are few people, so you can take photos freely.😀
Recommended spots for taking photos of the cosmos:
1. Right after entering, there is a grass hut and well platform on the right.
2. Walk inside, and there are two castle backgrounds.
3. By the lake, you can take photos of the bridge, city wall, and front lake.

Late summer love at the Botanical Garden - Lotus, good luck.
✅Shooting time: end of August.
South Garden of Zhongshan Botanical Garden, Blind Botanical Garden on the left, there are several Victoria amazonica, it is said that the flowering time is only one day. Curiosity, hurry up and watch the excitement.
✅Victoria amazonica is actually a small one (see the last two pictures), but the lotus next to it is still delicate and beautiful.
🌺Please be careful when taking pictures, don't hurt the flowers.

Nanjing also has an aquatic plant garden now, with over 400 varieties of lotus flowers
Nanjing also has an aquatic plant garden now, with over 400 varieties of lotus flowers.
Previously, when I went to the bonsai garden in Zhongshan Botanical Garden to take pictures of hydrangeas, I noticed that there was a lot of construction going on nearby.
Sure enough, the previous lotus garden has been renovated and turned into an aquatic plant garden, which officially opened to the public this Monday.
Covering an area of 3,300 square meters, it collects more than 300 species of native aquatic plants from the East China region.
There are over 400 varieties of lotus flowers alone, making it the first lotus seed resource bank in China.
The best part is that it's great for photography, with various low-angle close-ups, within reach.
All materials were shot on July 3, 2024.
Closed every Monday, opens at 8:30, stops selling tickets at 16:30, and stops entry at 17:00.
The ticket price for the North Garden is 15 yuan, and annual passes can be used.

The hydrangeas in the North Garden of Zhongshan Botanical Garden have not yet faded, and the yellow cosmos in the South Garden can't wait to bloom. The splendor of midsummer is fully displayed
Walking among them, it feels like stepping into a golden fairy tale world
Yellow cosmos, also known as yellow Persian chrysanthemum, has the flower language of 'wild beauty,' which matches the wild growth and uneven plant shape of this flower. They can be seen everywhere by the roadside, lakeside, and in the woods
In fact, in Nanjing, there are several other places where you can see yellow cosmos, but they lack the background and ambiance
These days, the continuous plum rains make it the best time to visit the South Garden of the botanical garden. The misty rain creates a scene like a slowly unfolding ink painting

The best photogenic tropical plants are all in Zhongshan Botanical Garden!
Don't just look at hydrangeas in Zhongshan Botanical Garden, cacti are so photogenic
I went to the North Garden of Zhongshan Botanical Garden, and it was really crowded. I couldn't take good photos, all I saw were heads, and various equipment was fully deployed, so the next day I ran to the South Garden for some peace and quiet
Although the ticket for the South Garden is 45, I took some really nice photos
Don't squeeze into the North Garden anymore
The South Garden is really nice~
And it's indoors, with a flow of people divided, not crowded
Strolling leisurely, I felt super good!

May this life be brilliant, living like summer flowers~ The cycle of seasons always holds a fixed beauty, the endless splendor is dazzling, as if someone spilled Monet's palette~

The hydrangeas at Zhongshan Botanical Garden are so beautiful!
The hydrangea exhibition in the North Garden starts on May 24th, and the setup is almost complete. Many aunties and young ladies have already gone to check in. I heard an auntie exclaiming whether these are real or fake flowers, and they are all genuinely real flowers!
Walk straight from the entrance of the North Garden, head towards the statue of Sun Yat-sen, and on the left, there is a large floral ball arrangement stacked on the trees. However, it's always crowded, so it's a bit difficult to take a picture without people in it. If you go to the right, there is a slope full of hydrangea flowers. Additionally, in the Bonsai Garden, there are some very special varieties, which are the ones I took pictures of behind me. They are simply stunning upon closer inspection. The ticket price is 15, which is very cost-effective! Go for it!

The beauty here doesn't need any filters at all
The Zhongshan Botanical Garden is divided into the North Garden and the South Garden. These days, the early cherry blossoms in the North Garden are blooming vigorously, and the South Garden's vast flower fields are even more beautiful. No matter how you take pictures, they look great~
As soon as you enter the South Garden gate, you can see large swaths of tulips, and as you walk further in, you'll see many more different varieties of flowers~
The newly constructed scenery this time is so atmospheric, with an ethereal aura, and there are misting devices to create an ambiance every day~ Even on cloudy days, it looks very much like Monet's Garden at first glance, truly beautiful~
There are poppies, hydrangeas, February orchids, hyacinths, daffodils, sunflowers...
Imagine Monet's Garden or Alice's Wonderland, maybe you can find the answer here~
Although I came on a cloudy day, it doesn't affect my love for this place~

Nanjing Hydrangeas
The flowers bloom in midsummer, picturesque like a poem;
Only wish to be brilliant in this life, to live as summer flowers.
The cycle of seasons always has its fixed beauty, the endless dazzle is like someone spilled Monet's palette.
The petals layer upon layer, complement each other, unrestrained, graceful, fresh, mysterious; like a dream, standing tall and exceptionally romantic and charming.
Romantic May in the human world, the most beautiful hydrangeas in the endless summer.

To witness the fusion of mountains, water, and gardens, the botanical garden is the place to be
Upon entering the South Garden, what greets you is a dense, sunlight-blocking ☀️ forest of dawn redwoods, where a stroll feels like wandering in a painting.
Fortunate couples hand in hand, take a walk on the Yueya Dyke, wishing for eternal youth and a lifetime together.
In short, to see the harmony of mountains and water, the South Garden is the right choice.

Zhongshan Botanical Garden, a cascade of white flowers, is absolutely stunning for photography!
Nanjing Zhongshan Botanical Garden is truly a treasure for flower appreciation!
🌸 I intended to see the roses, but unexpectedly encountered a double-layered Sophora japonica's white flower cascade. The layered white petals look like a waterfall from a distance, and even more heart-stirringly beautiful up close.
🌈 We came across this sea of flowers at the fork in the road in the North Garden. Three trees form a small group of flower cascades, especially the two on the right, which have the most spectacular effect.
🌳 I suggest everyone wear blue clothes for photography, to create a striking contrast with the white flower cascade, and to capture a fairy-like essence.
📸 In the morning, the sunlight filters through the leaves and dapples the flowering trees. Standing in the beams of light, it's as if one is imbued with a spirit.
🌞 At present, not many tourists know about this place, and most head straight for the Rose Garden, so it's relatively quiet here. With patience, you can capture the beautiful scenery of an empty sea of flowers.
🌿 In addition to the white flower cascade, the North Garden also has a Rose Garden, a Bulbous Plant Area, and Hydrangeas for flower viewing. The Rose Garden has a wide variety of roses in vibrant colors; the Bulbous Plant Area's Allium giganteum is extremely cute; and the hydrangea buds are also about to bloom, expected to be in full beauty in another week.
🌷 So, if you're in Nanjing and want a romantic encounter with a sea of flowers, Zhongshan Botanical Garden is definitely your best choice!
Grace.Roberts^47
Zhongshan Botanical Garden has entered a realm of 'indescribable beauty'
Compared to the bustling Rose Garden with its competing roses, I prefer the perennial flower area with its purple irises, blue granny's bonnets, pink and white peonies, and giant onion flowers that are taller than a person... Under the evening sun, it's quietly beautiful like a fairy tale world. The plants and trees of this world, healing the heart.
:Zhongshan Botanical Garden North Park
:Taken on April 29 this year, the flowering period lasts until mid-May: 15 yuan (annual pass accepted)
:You can park at the botanical garden parking lot if driving, but parking spaces are scarce and expensive, so it's recommended to take a taxi or bus.

The crystal-clear roses are indescribably beautiful
🌟 Highlights:
Zhongshan Botanical Garden has finally reached the highlight of the year, with roses blooming all over the garden, dazzling visitors.
👍 Most recommended:
Rush in as soon as the doors open at 8:30, jog all the way to the last rose garden. You can snap a big scene with an empty mirror.
🚉 Travel tips:
Take bus 20/315 directly, and if you're driving, be sure to arrive early. I recommend my secret parking lot, 6 yuan per time, a seven or eight-minute walk away.
✅ Must experience:
The roses are brightly colored, and light-colored dresses such as white are very suitable. Bring a hat and an umbrella.
