🌟 Highlights:
The Nanshan Giant Buddha is located in the Nanshan Tourist Area of Longkou City, Yantai City, Shandong Province. Standing at 38.66 meters tall and weighing 380 tons, it is made of tin bronze. The statue is assembled from 232 pieces of the Buddha's body, 108 lotus petals, 302 hair buns, totaling 642 pieces of tin bronze, making it a rare tin bronze statue of Sakyamuni sitting Buddha in the world, and it is known as the world's largest bronze sitting Buddha.
🕙 Opening Hours: 7:30-17:00
💰 Average Cost:
Entrance ticket is 120¥. After entering, you need to take a shuttle bus to each scenic spot, which costs an additional 25¥ per person (this is optional, but it is recommended to buy it, as the area is huge, the spots are far apart, and it's easy to get lost and tiring to walk). Parking fee is 10¥. You can also apply to drive in, which costs 300¥ per car.
🧳 What to Prepare Before You Go:
1️⃣ Comfortable shoes and clothes
2️⃣ Bring some food and drinks, as it's a large area and it takes a whole day to fully explore
3️⃣ Long-haired ladies who wish to pray should remember to bring a hair tie to tie up their hair during prayer to avoid embarrassment
4️⃣ Those who wish to transcribe scriptures can bring a small brush and gold ink, although a regular pen is also fine. You can transcribe and place it in front of the Buddha for blessings 🙏. The scripture transcription area is on the second floor of the 'Jade Buddha Hall' and is free of charge
5️⃣ A walking stick can also be brought along, as there are several spots where you need to climb steps

👍Highly recommended:
Tourist play: Right after entering the scenic area, on the right hand side, there is a sightseeing car that takes you directly to the foot of the Buddha. Climbing 360 steps symbolizes the completion of merit. After lighting the 'Wish-Granting Incense' and making a wish, upon exiting the Wanfo Hall, a sightseeing car driver took us to the Jade Buddha Hall. As soon as you enter the hall, you feel a special coolness and a sense of awe naturally arises. The air in the mountains is also particularly fresh, instantly leaving all worries behind!
💰Average cost:
Price: 120 yuan per person for admission. 25 yuan per person for the sightseeing car.
📝Tips to note:
Queueing: No need to queue, it's a very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.
