The Nantou Ancient City Museum is located in Shenzhen, China, and showcases the history and culture of the ancient Nantou City. Nantou is one of the earliest cities in Shenzhen, with a rich historical background. The museum not only exhibits artifacts from the ancient city but also uses various multimedia displays, models, and interactive exhibits to tell the story of Shenzhen’s transformation from a small fishing village into a modern metropolis.
It opens daily from 10 AM to 5 PM. Best way to get here is with Shenzhen bus number 42, stop at Nantou Ancient Town Bus Stop.

Shenzhen's Old Fortress and Museum
I suggest stopping by the small museum before visiting Nantou Ancient City. This museum is a place where you can briefly understand the ancient history of Shenzhen.
Nantou Ancient City boasts a history of over 1700 years to this day, carrying a deep historical and cultural heritage. This small museum consists of two floors with Exhibition Halls A and B, and it takes about 10 minutes to look over all the exhibits. Usually, many tourists come here, and the local staff also help with explanations.

The little known, but interesting Nantou Ancient Town Museum located in Shenzhen Christmas na is an interesting way to fill a couple of hours. You will see fortifications from the 1300's and see how this sea port area has always been important to the region. #merrychristmas
