Afternoon tea at Violet Oon
Who doesn’t like going to fancy afternoon tea? Not me! Went on a search for good high teas in Singapore and Violet Oon’s was one that I really wanted to try.
Visited the National Gallery outlet, it’s beautifully decorated and the service is good! To make things even better, we got a nice seat by the window! Almost everything served on the high tea menu was really good! I am more of a savory person than a sweet so I loved the savory items!
Some or most high tea out there charges a high price for food that looks good but actually tastes mediocre but not Violet Oon, it looks good but it tastes good too! If you love high tea, definitely give them a visit!

Singapore's most beautiful national treasure Nyonya restaurant - Violet Oon
The National Kitchen by Violet Oon in Singapore National Gallery as Singapore's national treasure Nyonya restaurant, named "National Kitchen", is Violet Oon with children The restaurant that was founded together meant to introduce local cuisine to the foodies around the world. Renovated in the 1920's colonial Southern Ocean style, mosaic marble tiled floors and ornate beaded crystal chandeliers, old photos with full history, peacock-green bar, comfortable leather sofa, Art Deco tables and chairs, Nyonya Style's tiles are very close to the wall and the exquisite texture is known as the most beautiful Nyonya restaurant in Singapore.
We two ordered an afternoon tea set, SGD56/Set, three layers of pastries with two drinks, the amount is enough, three people are enough.
Kuay Pie Tee: Nyonya classic snack, golden crispy skin wrapped in bamboo shoots radish, salty mouth greasy.
Shenzhen beef bag: It is made of chili, red onion, sauted and fried. It tastes spicy and many Nyonya dishes are this kind of taste.
laska, a bit like the Cantonese-style dry fried beef river, with two kinds of dipping sauce, are relatively spicy.
Others are also classics in the Nyonya snacks, because it is a full English menu, some do not know how to translate Chinese, everyone to taste it.
Tips:
1. The restaurant is located on the second floor of the art gallery. You can also enter the restaurant for food without purchasing tickets for the art gallery.
2. The environment is very good, the outside is the city view, the location of the window is very tight, the table needs to be booked in advance.
3. I didn't eat dinner, afternoon tea fixed package SPG56, two to three people can share, the weight is still OK, the taste is very Nyonya characteristics, very delicious.
4. The environment is rich in Nanyang Niang, and it is recommended to wear a plain color or pattern to take a delicate photo.
OOTD:
Topshop British brand, black and white pattern, different levels, distinct and textured.
LUNA ROSE Purchased in Thailand, the local niche brand, with simple and gorgeous design, is liked by everyone.
