It was a weekend short trip to Washington, D.C. Just want to share some of the places and restaurants that I have visited.

We then went to Washington Monument. Wen managed to took panoramic views of the city from the observation deck (💰timed tickets required).

As I am very into historical buildings and museum, I arranged sometimes to visit National Archives Museum. We viewed the the original Declaration of Independence, Constitution, and Bill of Rights.
📍701 Constitution Ave NW, Washington, DC 20408
We also visited United States Capitol and Capitol Visitor Center. We took a tour to the Capitol Building, including the Rotunda and National Statuary Hall (advanced reservations recommended).

We also visited Library of Congress. We managed to explore the beautiful Thomas Jefferson Building and view the Gutenberg Bible.

Asides, I would also recommend you to visit the Supreme Court of the United States. We got the chance to attend a court session and explored the historic building and exhibitions.
📍1 First St NE, Washington, DC 20543
Last but not least, if you’re looking for a decent restaurant, I would recommend you to try
Founding Farmer. I would recommend you to try the Chicken and waffles 🧇 It was really good and you can also order their very fresh seasonal vegetables 🥦 It costs us around $20-$35 per pax.
📍1924 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20006

The Colors of America
The United States has gone into many struggles before it became the multi cultured and diverse country that it is today. Though tolerance and acceptance more common these days, it is still worthy to know how the country struggled and triumphed and The National African American Museum will help us have a glimpse.
I have to admit, my visit to the museum was rather chilling. I felt very somber as I walk past and look into the vast collections and the exhibits.
Located along 14th Street and Constitution Avenue in the country's Capital, I highly recommend you make this visit a part of your DC trip.
