💙 The Water Conservancy Museum is a national-level industry museum directly under the Ministry of Water Resources and a national first-class museum
🚘 Located in Xiaoshan District, it's more complicated to get there by public transport, while self-driving is more convenient as there is parking available
💠 It's really beautiful! A perfect combination of classical style, modern materials, and advanced technology, it looks like a crystal pagoda. It's very photogenic on a sunny day. It was cloudy when I visited
💰 Ordinary visits can be booked in advance. It costs 20 yuan per person to ascend the tower for an overlooking view

Hangzhou Strolling with Kids|A hidden gem museum that 99% of people don't know about
|A hidden gem museum that 99% of people don't know about. The Water Conservancy Museum in Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou is truly spectacular. I visited the Crystal Tower of the Water Conservancy Museum over the weekend. It includes indoor/outdoor/high-altitude views, a one-stop tour, highly recommended, especially for strolling with kids. My child was so excited that he ran all the way without me having to manage him. It's convenient, safe, not crowded, and you can gain knowledge and enjoy the scenery, a great thing that all moms understand.
🏰Venue Features:
Follow Qianjiang Second Bridge towards Xiaoshan, turn left about 50 meters after the exit and you'll see the Water Museum. The museum uses a 'tower and museum in one' architectural concept, built in the Qiantang River reclamation area. From a distance, it looks like a crystal tower 'floating' on the Qiantang River, with 11 floors. The first and third floors are free to visit, the top floor is paid, and the other floors are office areas, with a unique and spectacular design.
🎏Travel Tips:
1️⃣The museum is very large, just one floor has 4 water conservancy history exhibition halls, super large reliefs are super spectacular, there are also many historical figures statues and stamp walls, stamp collectors must not miss; the third floor is photography and painting exhibition; the top floor is for viewing the scenery and water control beasts, requiring a 20 yuan ticket. But❗️I suggest you all spend this 20 yuan, it's really worth it❗️The outer 360-degree outdoor balcony, with a wide view and cool breeze, feels like your whole person's mind has opened up❤
2️⃣You can stroll around the park outside the museum, there are water wheels, small bridges, sightseeing cars, recommended to go in the afternoon to watch the sunset has a special feeling. The small square in front of the tower is flat and open, very suitable for kids to run around. There is also a water park open in summer next to the Water Museum.
3️⃣Stamp strategy: The museum's cultural and creative commemorative stamps total 31, 6 are free, the rest are charged 10 yuan or spend 18 yuan in the cultural and creative area.
