St. Petersburg's classic one-day tour route church tour.
St. Petersburg classic one-day tour route 🇷🇺Church Tour
This one-day citywalk route should be used by everyone who comes to St. Petersburg, right? Three churches (Kazan, Spilled Blood, St. Isaac) ➕ Centenary Bookstore ➕ Nevsky Prospekt.
Compared with the churches in Moscow, I feel that the ones in St. Petersburg are more exquisite and delicate, and the tickets are cheaper.
-
Route 🗺️
Centenary Bookstore 👉 Kazan Cathedral 👉 Lunch on Nevsky Prospekt 👉 Church of the Spilled Blood 👉 St. Isaac’s Church 👉 Shopping on Nevsky Prospekt
-
📕Centennial Bookstore Dom Knigi
There are many floor-to-ceiling window seats along the windows on the second floor. There were already many people taking photos on the side facing the Kazan Cathedral in the morning. I like the chair in the corner facing the street intersection (Picture 2). The warm wood tones in the interior give it an atmosphere of lazily reading a book in the warm sunshine of winter.
You can buy souvenirs on the first floor, which are suitable for gifts. Postcards with unique shapes and patterns, canvas bags printed with Russian writers, bookmarks, refrigerator magnets, calendars with beautiful illustrations...
📕Kazan Cathedral Kazan Cathedral
The church is modeled after St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican and is surrounded by a circle of ancient Roman stone colonnades.
📕Cathedral of Spilled Blood
Tickets for the church are 450🎫The appearance is modeled on the onions on Moscow’s Red Square. The walls and ceiling of the church are covered with mosaics, and are decorated with topaz, glass and various gemstones, which are gorgeous and colorful.
📕Saint Isaac’s Church
Tickets are divided into 🎫300 for summit and 450 for visit tickets, which can be purchased individually.
To get a ticket to the top, you have to climb 200 spiral stairs to see the St. Petersburg skyline. Although tiring, the scenery is worth it! The smoking Kazan Cathedral, the tallest building in Europe across the river, the cranes at the dock... If the weather is good, you can climb to the top at sunset.
Visit the ticket and enter the interior of the church. Many large-format paintings occupy an entire wall. The golden reliefs are said to have used 400 kilograms of gold, and there are also works of art made of various gemstones as decorations.
The park facing the church is a good vantage point to take pictures of the church. It is recommended to squat until after 6 o'clock and turn on the lights. It looks great!
📕Nevsky Prospekt
There are many small shops on the street. Good shopping and shopping
Exchange cash: You can exchange rubles at Sber on this street, the exchange rate is 1:14 on 10/3, and you can get your number from the machine at the door.
There are many Georgian dishes on this street. Classic dishes include: Georgian cheese pancakes (shaped like a round boat with two ends, salty cheese and runny eggs), Georgian steamed buns (large Wuxi soup dumplings), manti dumplings, barbecue with pancakes...recommended Хачапури и вино (rated 4.9 by 13,159 people on the map), Chaihona (good environment, cheap prices, many choices)
Century-old supermarket Eurosper: There are many supermarkets in Moscow, but this one is the only one in St. Petersburg. It is very large and comprehensive. There are many cooked foods: salads, big meat skewers, finger rice, soups, cheese cakes. Fruit, bread, juice, yogurt...the supermarket's own brands sper and natural are very cost-effective. It is recommended to come here directly to eat!

Kazan and the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood: Two beautiful churches in St. Petersburg.
When the morning light in the north shines on the gorgeous buildings on the roadside, we come to the Kazan Cathedral on Nevsky Avenue. The status of this church is very high because it enshrines the Kazan Madonna. It is said that the Kazan Madonna has appeared many times and saved Russia at critical moments. The exterior of the church imitates the Roman architectural style. The 94 columns are magnificent. The patterns on the columns and the sculptures on the top are very exquisite. Under the gate pillar similar to the Arc de Triomphe, the water on the ground reflects the blue sky and the buildings across the street. Across the street is an ancient bookstore with a history of hundreds of years, and the small river next to the bookstore reminds me of Russian landscape oil paintings.
Not far away is the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood, which belongs to the Church of the Resurrection of Christ. It is one of the few traditional Orthodox churches in St. Petersburg. The outline is beautiful, the decoration is colorful, and it is particularly eye-catching. Unfortunately, when we went, the church was being renovated, but the surrounding canal scenery was charming.
Coordinates: The Kazan Cathedral is located on Nevsky Avenue in St. Petersburg, and the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood is located next to the Griboedov Canal not far from Nevsky Avenue.
Tickets: Kazan Cathedral is free, and the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood is CNY 41 per person.
Transportation: Take the subway to Nevsky Avenue Station and walk to reach it.

Rediscovering Winter Wonderland: A Snowy St. Petersburg ❄️🌨
Sometimes, a photograph patiently waits for its moment, yearning to be shared with the world. This particular image had been quietly biding its time for nearly a year, hidden away in the depths of my film roll. But now, as the days have come full circle, I've rediscovered this snapshot—a fleeting glimpse of the snow-covered enchantment that is St. Petersburg.
Although circumstances may have prevented me from unveiling it sooner, I believe that some things are meant to be cherished in their own time. So, here it is, a piece of snowy St. Petersburg to brighten your feed and evoke a sense of wistful wonder. May it transport you to a world of white-cloaked beauty and historic charm, even if only for a moment.
Maria Ponomaryova
There is very little big city that can make me feel like a St. Petersburg, and it melts the atmosphere of life and art into the marrow of the whole city.
Walking at the beach in the evening, I can see the pictures of the couples joining hands. The street performers sing and sing the stories of their own hearts,
listen quietly, quietly find, wait quietly.. You will find unparalleled surprises everywhere.
A historic city will never lack charm; a city with a soul will never lack a story; a city with a high sense of happiness will really make you, from the heart, willing to pay for art.

Nevsky Prospekt is the busiest and bustling street in St. Petersburg, home to the city's largest bookstore, food store, largest department store and the most expensive shopping centre. There are also a variety of churches, celebrities homes and historical sites.
Neva Street is also a street of great value, where you can admire a variety of churches, numerous celebrities' homes and historical sites. Nevsky Prospekt is a place of religious tolerance, where the Orthodox Church of Kazan, the Protestant St. Peter and Paul Church, the Catholic Church of St. Catherine, the Dutch Church, the Armenian Church, etc., are all in one place and peaceful. Can't help but be amazed.
Nevsky Avenue is known as one of the most beautiful streets in the world. After the development of Nevsky Avenue into a commercial street in 1776, many luxury buildings were built, but because the buildings here cannot exceed the height limit of the Winter Palace, the beautiful streets that are highly uniformed today and unique in the world are finally formed.

I first met St. Petersburg, I feel that the air here is better than Moscow, still sunny, walking on Nevsky Avenue, this bustling street, we go back and forth every day, the buildings on both sides are different from Moscow, and more unique to Europe. the taste of. The colorful buildings on both sides of the road, as well as the exquisite sculptures on the building, like the back to Italy, unknowingly walked nearly 3 kilometers and walked from the hotel to Kazan Cathedral.
