In Shenyang! The Manxin Hotel New World with a river view that you can look down upon
Just before May Day, a good friend is coming to Shenyang for the Aaron Kwok concert, and I've booked a hotel near the Hunnan K11, which is very close to the Olympic Sports Center and has particularly convenient transportation. We'll also take a few days to enjoy the CityWalk in Shenyang during the holiday.

The lobby is designed with a strong sense of style, leaning towards a Nordic style, and many elements are made of eco-friendly materials, exuding a low-key and simple luxury. We booked a deluxe river view room (including breakfast), which is spacious with an independent cloakroom, butler's cabinet, bathtub, and ample wash space.
The huge floor-to-ceiling windows face the Shenyang Diamond, and you can enjoy the beautiful night view of the Hun River at 180 degrees without the crowds. The bedding is comfortable and silky, and the service pays great attention to detail. Not only is it an eco-friendly hotel, but it's also pet-friendly, and the deluxe king room is perfect for our little dog. The hotel has a swimming pool and gym, so you can exercise anytime, anywhere. The hotel bar has foreign singers performing live, and you can relax with a drink and play billiards.
The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety, combining Chinese and Western delicacies meticulously. There's a range of Western breads, with 5-8 types of spreads, nutritious cereals, ham, bacon, DIY vegetable salads, rice noodles, tofu pudding, steamed buns, and more, as well as drinks like coffee, milk, and soy milk, so everyone can find their favorite food.
In the evening, dine at the YAO Shenyang buffet restaurant, enjoying a feast while watching the night view of the Diamond. There's a variety of seasonal seafood, mini hot pots, lamb spine, oysters, Northeastern Chinese dishes, and small desserts, especially the ice cream, which is worth a try. Remember to book in advance for a good spot.

I've grown accustomed to the New World Hotel with its uniquely advantageous geographical location, giving me the feeling of a second home, and I'm reluctant to move elsewhere. Right below is the K11 Shopping Mall, adjacent to the Shenshuiwan Park, about 20 minutes to Shenyang Xiantao Airport, and similarly, around 20 minutes to the train station. Popular attractions such as the Shenyang Imperial Palace, Zhang's Mansion, and Shenyang Middle Street are all about a 20-minute drive away. The hotel is less than 100 meters away from the Wulihe subway station, located at No. 416, Youth Street, Heping District.
🌟🌟🌟 I like the design style of this hotel, which is understated yet grand. The high-grade beige color scheme is of low saturation, giving me a warm feeling of coming home. This time I stayed in a deluxe river view room, with very comfortable and soft bedding, and the mattress firmness suited me well, with pillows of moderate height. The river view room offers a broad vista, perfectly overlooking the stunning night scene of Shenyang.

Taking advantage of a few days off at the end of the year, I traveled to Shenyang again to experience the exhilarating joy amidst the ice and snow, racing freely on the ski slopes! My friend who accompanied me is a skiing expert, who had been to the Guai Po Ski Resort before and was very satisfied with the snow tracks and entertainment here, so I was persuaded to give it a try. Those familiar friends surely know, I am very picky about where I stay during trips, and this time staying at the 'New World Hotel' was a choice of one of the few high-end hotels in Shenyang, with an environment and location that are too superior, making it especially convenient to go anywhere.
About staying
The New World Hotel in Shenyang is located in the city center, with an extremely elegant and chic overall environment. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a window view that fully captures the dazzling beauty of the Shengjing Grand Theater! The hotel promotes an eco-friendly concept, with most amenities made of biodegradable materials, even the drinking water in the rooms is in glass bottles. The buffet and Chinese restaurants are decorated in a grand and simple style, where you can taste a variety of authentic Northeastern Chinese cuisine, and my favorite is the Guo Bao Rou. Transportation is super convenient, with the subway right outside the door, and it's just over half an hour from the Shenyang Railway Station and the airport.

I went on a vacation to the New World Hotel with my parents for the New Year~
On the first day of the holiday, I enjoyed a "luxurious" life with my parents: having afternoon tea on the 21st floor of the hotel; taking a nap; having a buffet dinner; watching the "big diamond" of Shencheng shining; taking a walk in K11; getting up to have a hearty breakfast, taking pictures in the sky garden; and going home.

The hotel advocates the concept of sustainable development, so the drinking water in the room is in reusable glass bottles. The decoration in the hotel also highlights this concept. As soon as you enter the hotel lobby, the gray gauze hanging down flows with the air, showing a graceful and light beauty.
The location is really great, right across from the shining "big diamond" of the Shenyang Grand Theater, the night view is too beautiful.
As part of a large urban complex, the hotel is connected to the K11 mall, with a subway station downstairs, making dining, entertainment, and travel very convenient.
The gym is probably the largest one I've been to in a hotel, with many thoughtful partitions to avoid being watched while lifting weights. 😅

In addition to the amazing view, the room is also very comfortable. It's below zero outside in winter, but the room is in the 20s without air conditioning. The bathroom is super large, with dry and wet separation, and there is also a cloakroom.
The sound insulation is also very good, although it is facing the busiest traffic artery in Shenyang, but you can't hear any noise.

I had a New Year's limited edition afternoon tea on the 21st floor, and the desserts also have a strong New Year's flavor. The view from the lounge is even better, and you can see the Hun River. The overall design is also very interesting, a bit like an open kitchen at home, very warm, and there are pool tables and chess tables to play with family and friends.
The richness of the buffet dinner dishes can also rank in the forefront of buffet dinners in Shencheng hotels, especially on weekends, surprise dishes are served in addition to crabs, abalone and sea cucumber. I personally love Spanish ham, which goes well with cantaloupe and white wine!
Breakfast is also in the buffet restaurant, I love vegetable noodles the most~
In addition to the indoor restaurant, the hotel also has a barbecue restaurant and bar in the antique building in the sky garden on the 6th floor, a perfect combination of food and landscape.
