[Fukuoka Japanese Garden with a fog show] Since the airfare to Fukuoka is cheap, many people go there, right!? Beautiful park located right in the centre of Fukuoka.Very easy to get to by subway. A very public place for local people and tourist to spend their day of weekdays or weekend.most important it free admission. I took about 1 hour to walk around the park and to the tiny island in the middle.There are peddling swan boat available for rent, cafes available too. You can walk your dogs easily here. Will highly recommended a visit here to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the park which offer .

You can get there from Hakata Station on the Fukuoka Subway Airport Line. There is a large pond in the center, and you can walk around it and on the island in the center of the pond. There are coffee shops and boat rental shops around the pond, so you can spend a relaxing time in nature. I had long heard of Fukuoka Castle, a place full of stories, and finally had the chance to visit. I learned so much from this trip. As soon as I arrived near Fukuoka Castle, I could feel a different atmosphere. After leaving Ohori Park Station, I didn't have to walk far before I saw the ruins of Fukuoka Castle. 🧐 Stepping onto this ancient land is like opening a door to the past. The first thing I saw was the wide moat, the water sparkling in the sunlight like a blue ribbon surrounding the ruins of the castle. The piles of stone walls on the other side, though no longer complete, still allow you to imagine the grandeur of Fukuoka Castle in its heyday. I walked slowly along the riverbank, imagining Kuroda Nagamasa and his son living here, perhaps patrolling the walls or discussing important matters in the castle tower. 😃 As I walked, I saw the well-preserved Tamon Turret. This building really impressed me. It is like an old man from the depths of history, silently telling stories of the past. I walked into the Tamon Turret and carefully examined its every structure. The rough but powerful stone walls and unique architectural style all show the wisdom of the builders. Standing inside the turret, looking out through the small windows, I could almost see the soldiers of the past watching the outside world, ready to defend against invaders. It is no wonder that the Tamon Turret is a designated Important Cultural Property of Japan. 🌟 The scenery around Fukuoka Castle is also beautiful. Ohori Park is like a green pearl, complementing the ancient Fukuoka Castle. Walking into Ohori Park, the large lake is like a giant mirror, reflecting the sky and the surrounding green trees and mountains. The islands in the lake are like green gems scattered on the mirror, and the beautiful bridges are like ribbons connecting these gems. I strolled through the park, breathing in the fresh air and enjoying the beauty of nature. When I got tired, I found many cozy cafes around the park. I walked into one, ordered a cup of local coffee, and sat by the window, savoring the aroma of the coffee and reminiscing about my experiences at Fukuoka Castle and the park. It was a truly relaxing experience. 📝 Transportation is also very convenient. I started from JR Hakata Station, took the Fukuoka City Subway to Akasaka Station, and then walked for about 5 minutes. Getting off at Akasaka Station is also convenient, and you can also take a Nishitetsu Bus to Otemon or Heiwadai Station.
