The Ancient City of Olympos
Exploring the Ancient City of Olympos 🧡💛💙 Olympos was originally a very important Lycian city in the Hellenistic period(4th century BCE). Later ruled by the Roman empire, and was even once a pirate cove.
We climbed a mountain to explore the ruins at the top and came across a stunning view of Olympos beach. Living out our real-life assassin's creed fantasies 🎮
Turkey is another type of beautiful 😍 🇹🇷 ❤️👌🏻🐚🌊 🌞 🪬
🗺 Getting There -
1. From Antayla, go to the Otogar (bus station), just type "Otogar" into your Google Maps to get directions. At the Otogar, you can ask for the bus to Mount Olympos. It takes 2 hrs.
- 135 lira per person, each way.
2. Once you get to the Olympos stop, cross the road to the minibus station. It's outside the restaurant. This bus will take you down to the ruins in 25 minutes.

*You pay for both buses upon exiting at your stop in cash, Turkish Lira.
🎫 Entrance Ticket - 10 euros per person
Hotels - I suggest spending a night or 2 in Olympos to fully enjoy the beach and hikes. Don't forget to go and see the eternally burning Chimeara Lights in the Chimeara mountain.
