F1 season is here again in Singapore! Despite the hot and humid weather, tons of people have turned up for the race! So excited to be just soak myself in the atmosphere! Jackson Wang was also here to perform and it must be the highlight for a lot of girls! Hotel's price around the area has been sky high for the past 2 weeks. Celebrating NDP at SG’s gem - the Padang!

#mysgmemories - Fun Fact: did you know that the NDP will only be held at the Padang once every 5 years or during special occasions only?! I bet you don’t la Hor HAHAHAHA. I was one of the lucky ones who not only had her primary 5 preview at the Padang (we were special!) but I also managed to attend 2 more previews in person in my adulthood years! Sibei shiok indeed i also dk why i so Heng 😂😂😂😂 From the band display to the red lions and amazing display of our very own military tanks and defences in Singapore, I’m so proud of how far we have came to as a nation. Even though we have to Pay and Pay, Every Road also Pay, very hot 🥵 and no snow 😂 but can lah HAHA as long as safe and happy. It’s a blessing to be able to grow up and stay in our very “steady” Singapore! 😆👍🏼 Fireworks and funpack, which one’s your favourite? 🤭 free can liao 😂 To SG60!

SG58 The Padang

#mysgmemories Can lah! Let’s go kaikai! This year National Day celebration is held at The Padang so you can spot all decorations in this area. All buildings and public areas have displayed many Singapore flags, all wishing Singapore a Happy 58th birthday. In fact, in this area, it is easier to walk around by foot and you can get to see more sights too. There will also be road closure so using the MRT is an easier mode of transport too. There are many free events and activities ongoing, and you can even watch fireworks in the neighbourhoods too. So that everyone can participate in this big celebration together.

Singapore is celebrating its National Day on August 9 this year. Scroll down for more info! The main NDP 2023 will be held at the Padang, outside the National Gallery Singapore. You can expeect aerial displays, military parades, and multicultural performances during the celebration. Let's not forget about the fireworks! Popular locations to watch the fireworks include The Esplanade Bridge near the Merlion, Helix Bridge near Marina Bay Sands Singapore, and Fullerton Hotel. You can also catch the fireworks display at the following locations: - Bedok Stadium - Jurong West Stadium - Toa Payoh Stadium - Woodlands Stadium - Tampines Hub Spectators are strongly encouraged to leave the area by public transport like the MRT as there will be road closures in the city. NDP preview 2023

It was only my 2nd time watching NDP in person! the show was very well planned. Still rmb back in 2005, I was part of the marching contingent for my CCA, representing St John Ambulance Brigade. It was a very fun first time experience to be part of this big event for Singapore. Not easy to stand there under the hot weather. Kudos to all the performers and participating personnel. Light to Night: Around Padang

The Light to Night Festival is from 4 - 15 Jan 2023, making the post dinner walk around Padang scenic. If you're feeling warm, retreat into the air conditioned National Gallery, where a series of curated installations “Here and Now”, invites one to reflect on one’s time and environment. On certain saturdays, there will be F&B stalls and street performances along the civic district, as part of the Art X Social festive village, which enlivened the Light to Night Festival.

Celebrating Singapore's Birthday (2023 NDP) at the Padang!!! Live celebrations with fellow Singaporeans is definitely a chance not to be missed. The stage comes to live with wonderful performances. Stunning fireworks

#mysgmemories As this year, the National Day Parade returns to Padang. Parliament area is a good place to catch the view of fireworks! The fireworks display is between 8.15pm to 8.25pm. Need to be there few hours early to secure a good spot to view the fireworks. The fireworks is very stunning! Looking forward to next year celebration! #mysgmemories Getting tickets to the NDP preview is like winning a lottery ticket! Even when the Padang is very crowded, we managed to get seated by 5pm after collecting the NDP goodie bag. Crowd control was well done and there wasn’t any pushing or overcrowding. The goodie bag includes a bottle of water, snacks, sanitizer, tattoos & a mini flag. The show started at 5.30pm and we enjoyed watching it live. Everyone was singing along to the NDP songs & making the “kallang waves” was the fun part. Loved the whole experience and the NDP vibes. We enjoyed the show and had fun throughout the show!

every year during national day parade there will be a large spectacular event to celebrate Singapores birthday with fantastic musical performance, military drills.and bands and light performance..of course there.is the legendary fireworks which last up to 10 minutes. I simply love watching the national day parade live. the tickets are only for Singaporeans so pls.take note

Light to Night 2023!

#singapore I went to check out the colourful and larger-than-life bubbles at the Padang one afternoon, an immersive installation called “Ephemeral” that acts as a metaphor for life which “is beautiful because it is momentary”, according to its artist Atelier Sisu.
