Penang for Island Couples
Nice waves, good views, even greater hotel!
A dream vacation for families and couples. Batu Ferringhi is a beach resort northwest of George Town, on Malaysia’s Penang Island. It’s known for water sports and seafood restaurants. Street food, household goods and batik clothing are sold at the seafront night market. Batik pieces are also on display at local galleries and shops.
Double Tree Hilton Hotel A block from Miami Beach, this upmarket, modern hotel enclosed by forest is 9 km from George Town and 28 km from Penang International Airport. Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly

Batu Ferringhi Beach
Very beautiful beach. The sand is a bit rocky but the scenery is very nice on a clear day. Would recommend!
There are jet ski and parasailing and boat rentals for 100RM onwards and restaurants nearby for food after.
There are also facilities to shower and use the bathroom.

If you ever went to Penang, don’t forget to visit Batu Ferringhi.
It is a great place to relax and have a great view of the sea. There is a lot of hotels nearby too if you want to have a rest.
Anyway the place is such a nice destination to bring your family especially kids of course. Lots of activities too. Me and my family even bring a mat to have a nice picnic by the beach, such a warm environment ✨

🏖🏝🏜🏕⛺️Great place to chill yourself. It’s a favourable spot for family gathering, water sports, horse riding and many more. The only thing that I don’t really satisfied with is the cleanliness of the beach.

watching the beautiful sunset in Penang
The second most visited place in Penang Island after George Town is Batu Ferringhi Beach.
Located in the north-west of the island, Batu Ferringhi is home to a string of international class beachfront hotels, a long strip of white sandy beach, loads of water sports, a popular night market and is a great place to escape the heat of the city and relax by the pool enjoying the cool sea breezes. The 3-kilometre long beach is quite pleasant, but the waters around here are not the cleanest for swimming in and suffer from sporadic jellyfish infestation, so you will find most people relaxing by the pool at the more upmarket hotels rather than on the beach.
The beach in Batu Ferringhi is known for its water sports and beach activities.

Batu Ferringhi Beach - Penang, Malaysia
The most popular beach in Penang island is Batu Ferringhi and it is one of the top Penang tourist places and where the majority of the best hotels are located.
Batu Ferringhi is a sandy beach about 2 km long. The beach is well maintained and clean, cleaned daily. The entrance to the sea is gentle, the bottom is sandy, however, due to the high concentration of industrial enterprises in the northern region of the island, the water is muddy and rather dirty, but calm, almost without waves. Batu Ferringhi is not suitable for swimming. There are showers and toilets on site. The time I went there the beach was not crowded.
There are lots of restaurants, cafes, bars and food courts offering a huge selection of Malay, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Thai, European cuisines.
Batu Ferringhi Beach is located 15 km from George Town on the north side of the island.

Batu Ferringhi is the most famous beach town at Penang Island. There are ranges of beaches along side such as Batu Ferringhi beach, Miami beach and Teluk Bahang beach. The most favourite activities at the beach is of course the beach bathing! Lots of people were seen with their families swimming their hearts out while having a good picnic along side the beaches.
There were also a number of food stalls along the road selling seafood fritters, coconut based drinks and corns. We bought a coconut drink and a butter burnt corn which tasted really nice. Sitting on the rocks just a few centimetres from the waves, we truly enjoyed our afternoon there.

Batu Ferringhi Beach
If you’re looking for a secluded beach with crystal clear water, this isn’t it. Not by a long shot. But if you’re looking for fun in the sun, you’re in the right place. It’s loud, and busy, and the water is pretty murky… But it’s the activities that make Batu Ferringhi beach what it is.
Yep, you’ll find activities galore on Batu Ferringhi beach. If you want to hire a jet-ski or gallop along the shore on horseback, this is it. Why not hop on a banana boat or go parasailing?
One thing Batu Ferringhi beach really has going for it are the sunsets. As the sun starts to go down, the whole beach starts to glow a gorgeous shade of purple. Even though the sun eventually disappears behind a mountain, this glow is the stuff of romance movies.

This beachside restaurant in Penang is a good place to get a local taste while enjoying the sea breeze. Enjoy Malaysian sambal peanut chilli sauce that is sweet and sour and spicy all at once. Penang’s famous famous fried noodle dish called Kuay Teow featuring a thin flat noodle is also available! Dig in 😋

Many people have an impression of Penang, food, comics, and Chinese, but they dont know that there are beach resorts in Penang.
Penang is one of the famous seaside resorts in West Malaysia in addition to its cultural heritage. Around Penang, which is surrounded by the sea, there is a 11-kilometer white beach stretching from Tanjung Bungah to Batu Ferringhi. The Batu Ferringhi Beach in the north of Penang is the best in the beach. place. This time, the Malaysian Bank did not include Langkawi, so I took a few days in Penang and went to Batu Ferringhi to get in touch with the sea.
Friends who are familiar with geography should know that Malaysia's land is divided into two parts by the South China Sea. The waters facing West Malaysia and East Malaysia are different, and the color and clarity of the sea are also very different. The scenery of Batu Ferringhi may not be comparable to that of Sabah and Sarawak in East Malaysia, but each beach has its own unique style. Batu Ferringhi Beach is a popular place for water recreation. In addition to the popular water activities such as paragliding, banana boat and jet ski, horseback riding is also available along the beach. Especially when the sun sets, tourists ride on the beach and are very artistic. At the same time, dozens of high-end hotels built along the coast have also attracted a large number of foreign tourists to come to vacation.
In the red sky of the setting sun, whether it is a handle, a hug, a kiss or a daze, let the beautiful picture of Batu Dingyi's sunset moment freeze in my mind and camera.
TIPS: The sea paragliding here is very cheap, so try it.

Penang | A charming picture of Nanyang style.
| A charming picture of Nanyang style. Penang is a charming city in Malaysia, like a bright pearl of Nanyang, blending ancient history and culture, rich food, and unique architectural style. Here, every step you take, you can feel the traces of time and the sparks of multicultural collision.
Day 1: Arrive in Penang and head to George Town. This is the historical core area of Penang, full of surprises. Strolling along the street, you will be attracted by colorful murals, such as "Brother and Sister on a Bicycle", which are vivid and interesting, and are excellent photo spots. The Penang Clan Jetties is also not to be missed. Walk on the boardwalk, experience the unique life of the water people, and feel the strong local culture. When you are tired of shopping, you can look for food in the small streets and alleys of Penang, and try Penang Char Kway Teow, which is smooth and chewy, with fresh ingredients such as shrimp and bean sprouts, and stir-fried with a strong aroma.
Day 2: Visit the Penang Museum to learn more about the development and multiculturalism of Penang. The museum displays various cultural relics and materials, vividly showing the changes in Penang from the past to the present. Then head to the Penang Butterfly Park, which is like a tropical fairy tale world, with colorful butterflies dancing among the flowers, forming a beautiful picture with the surrounding tropical plants. Have lunch in the surrounding area and try Penang Oyster Omelette, which is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. In the afternoon, you can stroll around the old town of Penang, admire the old arcade buildings, and feel the traces of time left on these buildings.
Day 3: Head to the beaches of Penang, such as Batu Ferringhi Beach. There, you can enjoy the sun and sand, experience water activities such as surfing and banana boats, and relax. The sand here is fine and soft, and the sea is clear. When you are tired of playing, you can taste Penang Laksa at the restaurant by the beach, with rich coconut milk soup base with noodles, fish balls, etc., sour and spicy. Then you can prepare to return home, and say goodbye to Penang with beautiful memories.
Penang is such a city with stories, flavors, and beautiful scenery, worth savoring slowly.

Penang Beach Vacation.
Penang's beaches are a vacation paradise where you can forget your worries and immerse yourself in leisure time. With fine sand, blue waters, a variety of water activities, and delicious seafood, this is the perfect vacation destination.
🌊 Day 1:
After arriving in Penang, I went straight to Batu Ferringhi Beach. As soon as I stepped onto the beach, the fine sand spread under my feet, and the sun shone on the sea, making it sparkle. I found a shady spot, laid down a beach towel, and quietly watched the waves lapping against the shore. Listening to the rhythmic sound of the waves, I felt all my fatigue disappear. At noon, I enjoyed a delicious seafood feast at a restaurant near the beach. The crab meat was tender, and the shrimp was sweet and delicious. In the afternoon, I tried the exciting jet ski, speeding across the sea, feeling the whistling sea breeze and the splashing sea water. It was thrilling and exhilarating.
🌅 Day 2:
I chose to stay at Angsana Teluk Bahang, a resort by the sea. Every room here is a sea-view room, so you can see the vast sea and beautiful sunrise as soon as you open your eyes. In the morning, I took a leisurely walk on the resort's private beach, and occasionally saw people riding horses by the sea, which was quite charming. Then I swam in the pool by the sea, enjoying the cool water and warm sunshine. In the evening, I sat by the pool and watched the sunset slowly set in the west. The whole sky and sea were dyed golden, which was breathtakingly beautiful.
🎑 Day 3:
I went to a seaside bar and restaurant [boraboraat batu ferringhi penang]. The atmosphere here was great, with indoor and outdoor seating options. I chose a seat near the beach, enjoying the sea view while savoring delicious Western food and refreshing beer 🍺. After dinner, I took a walk on the beach to digest, feeling the sea breeze and the tranquility and beauty of the night. These three days of vacation on the beach in Penang made me fall deeply in love with the leisure and romance here. I really wish I could stay here longer.
