#staycation A stay at the Park Hyatt in Suzhou is a well spent staycation. From the moment you arrive you are transported into first class luxury and zen. Doors open before you realize they are there and other doors lead to spaces that are made to excite the mind and senses. I have stayed at many hotels in China but none of them came close to the attention to detail displayed in this hotel and I left feeling like I had experienced something new without leaving Suzhou. The hotel is ideally situated so that you have many options for dining and shopping which was great for us because although the hotel does western cuisine, they are rather pricey without offering much in terms of variety. if like me you are looking for a tatse of luxury without breaking vthe bank on average food then definitely give Times square a visit to round out a Greta vacation.

Classy stay

Having stayed in classy hotels🏨 with old architecture style, I was never a big fan of it. Somehow it doesn't vibe with what I want to do in life 😉, and so it is always a no go for me. But Park Hyatt in Suzhou has shown me the completely other side of it, most importantly the bright side of it. It gave me a sense of calmness and serenity😇 to think clearly what I want to do; but not in rush. Situated around the Jinji lake, it also has the perfect view of the Suzhou eye 🎡. They have got these japanese hybrid 🌴 trees planted at the centre with the golden 🐠 fishes floating around. But the interior of the room has nice old Chinese architecture. Like any other five star hotels they too have got in-room coffee, tea and few snacks to munch on. Hyatt Suzhou is different from other Hyatt hotels. This is classified as a “Regency” Hotel. The courtyard has three entrances, and the pines, cypresses, and koi fish in it are imported from Japan, making you feel as though you are in Japan. This makes for great photos. This hotel has all kinds of interesting features, including three restaurants, an afternoon tea café, and a fitness center.

Park Hyatt Suzhou is located in Suzhou Industrial Park, near the east side of Jinji Lake. It takes about 20 minutes to drive to the major gardens. For tourists, the location is average and not very convenient for visiting attractions. However, the urban landscape around the hotel is quite nice. Once the surrounding areas are developed, the environment will probably be even better. There are some construction sites around now, but you can see that it will get better in the future. The hotel was designed by HBA Singapore. Unlike the previous Park Hyatt's cold and minimalist style, this one uses more bright colors and looks more "bright" overall. The Chinese elements are also more direct, giving it a modern feel. In terms of luxury, it's much better than the old Park Hyatt. As for whether this style looks good or not, it depends on personal preference. Some people may find it a bit too fancy and lacking in the elegance of Park Hyatt, but others may like this more direct and modern design. The hotel's public areas are quite beautiful, especially the pine trees and koi pond, giving an overall "Park" feel, quiet and comfortable. Walking around feels like being in a high-end park, very relaxing. Overall, although Park Hyatt Suzhou is a bit far from the attractions, the hotel's environment and design are quite good. If you like a more modern style and want to stay in a comfortable and well-designed place, this is a good choice. If you're not picky about location and want to enjoy a quiet environment, this place will definitely satisfy you.

My favorability for Park Hyatt has skyrocketed, and the generous room upgrade is a real surprise~ When it comes to Suzhou Park Hyatt, it is always compared with the Four Seasons in the same city. Since I have never stayed at the Four Seasons in Suzhou, I have no say, so I will only talk about my personal experience of staying at Suzhou Park Hyatt. 1) Visual aesthetics: Suzhou Park Hyatt focuses on showcasing the unique charm and beauty of Chinese aesthetics. The clever use of malachite green creates a more tranquil and elegant atmosphere between the bamboo joints. After all, aesthetics is "one man's meat is another man's poison", everyone has their own taste, and it is difficult to make a universal evaluation. 2) The room is a lake view room, about 60 square meters, with a reasonable layout of functional areas and a perfect view (see p11-12 for details). 3) Semi-buffet breakfast, good quality control of desserts, other breakfast items are average in terms of style and taste. At first, the air conditioning in the room was not cooling well, but after reporting it to the front desk, the problem was solved quickly and efficiently. Suzhou Park Hyatt Hotel

This time I stayed for two nights in the terrace suite of Suzhou Park Hyatt. I was stunned by the hotel's design aesthetics as soon as I entered the hotel. The hotel is filled with elements of crabapple flowers, which is also a good omen for guests. There are many koi fish in the lobby, which were imported from Japan. It is said that the longest one is 1.5 meters. There are also a few century-old pine trees and a camellia that blooms every winter. I can come back to see it then. The room is very large, probably around 110 square meters. The terrace on the fifth floor is much larger than the one on the fourth floor. Unfortunately, the terrace suite is often fully booked. I looked through the bookings until November but couldn't find this room type. The large terrace can accommodate 20+ people for a party. The room hardware is also very good, and the air conditioning is very effective. When I stayed in other hotels, the rooms with large floor-to-ceiling windows were always stuffy and hot, but this was not a problem here. The amenities are large bottles of Le Labo, and the hair dryer is Dyson. The overall service of the hotel is very good. The design is very strong. I feel it is much better than my experience at Park Hyatt Hangzhou. Many people rate Park Hyatt Hangzhou as the best in China, but I think it is a bit overrated and just average. During this stay, I also went to eat roast duck at Xizhou Xuan, which was really delicious. I recommend the hotel's Yuege Bar, which is also very beautiful. However, I find the Chinese style of this hotel quite appealing, especially the terrace suites. They are spacious and grand, with a good color scheme, and from the terrace, you can see the lake view and the Ferris wheel. If the weather is good, you can also enjoy the beautiful sunset glow. But there is one downside, the privacy of the terrace is average because the terraces are staggered, so people above can look down. The hotel's swimming pool is large and clean, and when I went, there was no one else, giving it an exclusive feel! The hotel is right next to the lake, with a very suitable lakeside running trail. The landscape design is also top-notch, and the garden aesthetics of the Jiangsu and Zhejiang regions are definitely on point. The hotel lobby features a unique Suzhou-style garden landscape. The guest rooms are spacious, maintaining the Park Hyatt's elegant and modern style. It is said that their terrace suites are the most worthwhile to experience. The swimming pool and gym are also good. The hotel breakfast is a combination of à la carte and buffet, not very varied, but the taste is quite good. The Chinese restaurant is their signature, and it was fully booked when I stayed, so I opted for room service. Room service was a bit slow in the evening, and the next day when checking out, the lobby manager specifically apologized and offered a small gift. Overall, the service is still on point.
