Today I’m reviewing a hotel in Singapore again~ What I’m reviewing today is Singapore’s first “Garden Hotel” under the Pan Pacific Hotels Group🏨The PARKROYAL Collection Marina Bay Singapore is a garden hotel that brings the entire forest indoors.

There are large shopping malls next door and opposite, which is very convenient for shopping and eating. It is very close to various attractions on foot, not to mention that the F1 Singapore Station City Circuit is right downstairs.

The guest rooms start at 31 square meters in size and all have a small balcony. I like the log design style and the separated dry and wet bathrooms (the wooden fence is very useful for drying clothes).

Personalized services: executive lounge (but I haven’t been there, so I won’t talk about it), swimming pool, urban farm (the hotel’s own rooftop vegetable garden), fitness center (complete with facilities), outdoor swimming pool (very beautiful at night, there are a lot of fiber optic lights in the swimming pool) , a feeling of starry sky), Skyline (outdoor lawn + poolside bar).

Taking the elevator to the sky bridge on the fourth floor, I feel as though I am walking in the clouds, overlooking the core of the hotel—a cleverly designed atrium. Here, designers have skillfully used skylights to gently introduce sunlight indoors, allowing light and air to dance freely, creating a space that is both bright and airy. The lush vegetation in the atrium is arranged in a meticulous fashion, like a well-manicured garden, with each plant telling the story of life's vigor.

The hanging floral installation Orchidea in the atrium looks like coins accidentally falling into an open hand~ The hotel is home to over 2,400 plants, trees, shrubs, and ground cover plants from more than 60 plant species~ The overall landscape design integrates plants into the interior of the hotel, creating a unique impression that includes layers of lush green forests~ As people cross the skywalk, it's like walking among the treetops, and the pavilions on either side resemble bird nests perched in the trees.
Overall, the PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay~ looks very ordinary from the outside, but inside it's a hidden gem, super beautiful! Especially the starry swimming pool in the outdoor garden~ It's absolutely incredible! Thousands of fiber optic lights shine like stars at night, dreamy and fantastic. Walking inside and down the stairs to the fourth floor, you come to Portman's Bar, which has a great atmosphere like a bar in a birdcage in the jungle~ The bartender's creations are superb! And besides the fine drinks~ there's also great food, definitely not to be missed when in Singapore!

The suite and executive room my parents and I stayed in not only offered superb views and landscapes but were also equipped with motion sensors. When no occupancy is detected, the air conditioning and lighting will automatically shut off, achieving intelligent temperature control and efficient energy use. Additionally, our room had the privilege of access to the executive lounge on the terrace. The terrace also features numerous amenities, including the Skyline bar, The Green Space with its open area overlooking the city skyline and Marina Bay, and a 25-meter outdoor pool adorned with thousands of fiber optic lights that twinkle like stars at night. It's truly beautiful!

During a recent a recent weekend, I had a staycation at Parkroyal Collection Hotel, Marina Bay Singapore with my family and everyone enjoyed it!
Parkroyal Collection Marina Bay is conveniently located next to Marina Square shopping mall in town. The hotel was very clean, and modern.
The room even had a play tent set up for kids, with kids amenities. Service was great! The room was spacious and comfortable, and the adjourning bathroom was fitted with a bath tub as well.
I will be back!

To top it off, I had access to the Executive Lounge, where I felt like a true VIP. The room service was a culinary delight – every bite was pure deliciousness delivered right to my doorstep.
At night, the swimming pool was like a liquid gem, glistening under the stars. And the view of Marina Bay Sands? Absolutely breathtaking. It felt like I had a front-row seat to one of the world's greatest shows.

I was fortunate to have the opportunity to stay in PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay, Singapore. It was the former Marina Mandarin Hotel that was rebranded and refurbished as a result of the Pan Pacific Hotel Group taking over the ownership of the hotel.
I was given a COLLECTION Club Marina Bay Room, featuring a lovely view of the Marina Bay and also on a high floor compared to the non-club rooms. I was also given amenities as a GHA Titanium member, which was some sweet treats and a pot of tea to go along with it. It was a refreshing start of my stay with them as I ate the treats and drank the tea and watched the view of the Marina Bay Sands before my eyes.

The shape of this [Portman's Bar] is like a huge rattan birdcage. You can indulge in a spread of sweets and savouries enlivened with fresh produce from urban farm. Combining Western-style desserts with traditional Singaporean snacks is really special.

Memorable Valentine’s Staycation
Booked a 2 nights stay to celebrate V Day with the missus. Started with the renowned high tea at Portman’s Bar where we sampled the delectable sweet and savoury treats basked in natural sunlight, plants and the sounds of the song birds in the cages. This experience is hard to beat!
Managed to catch sunset from the room and that added to the romantic feel of the day. Hotel staff also went door to door to give our some goodies to commemorate this special day. Truly a memorable V day indeed!

Twin Beds @ PRMB
Most of the time would choose the big king bed when doing a staycation in hotel but this time we try the twin beds instead (we heard they isn't much twin beds available). We were given a corner room and also we came early and was unexpectedly given a early check in as well too.
Twin beds were also big and the room is comfortably sized as well. The newly renovated wood finishing is also a nice touch to the room with minimalist style being used here. We love how it overlooked a good view of Marina Bay although the balcony is too small to be outside for a long time. The bath tub is also low as compare to other hotels and this is quote suitable for younger kids as well since the depth is lower for them and it will be safer.
The location of the hotel is also great for first time tourists to Singapore too as it is centrally located and near to the main tourist attractions of Singapore.

Portman’s Bar Afternoon Tea
A stay at Parkroyal Collection Marina Bay is incomplete without a visit to Portman’s Bar. Named after the architect who designed the hotel, you cannot miss the bar as it is just opposite the check in area.
Naturally lit, full of greenery, the bar is a garden oasis in the city and it has has songbirds in cages that sing melodiously, adding to the natural vibes to the place. But I digress.
The afternoon tea is stunning. From how it looks, to how it is placed, to how it tastes and the sheer variety of sweet and savoury food. Coupled with the singing of the song birds, the sunlight streaming in and bathing you as you eat, and the greenery around you, there is no better place to have an afternoon tea. Highly recommended!

Conveniently located in the central of Singapore, it is accessible to different area of attractions. With Marina Square and Suntec City located nearby, there is also abundance of food options and shopping!
It happens to be a rainy day during our check-in but thankfully there is a linkway from Marina Square that leads us straight to the hotel! Do look out for the signs in Marina Square if you're heading there!
The hotel room is spacious (enough to lay your luggages) and most importantly clean - what I look out for in a hotel stay. Filtered water is also provided so you can be sure to have enough drinking water! Basic amenities are also provided during your stay.
Definitely will be back if I need a staycation!

I cannot help but pay attention to how much details have been put into the hotel lobby of Hotel Parkroyal collection Marina Bay. Once you enter the hotel and make your way up to the hotel lobby, you will be consumed with a sense of calmness and zen. Peaceful music playing in the background with birds chirping away. Yes, there are real birds in bird cages at the hotel lobby. Accompanied by the lush greenery, flowers and bright sunlight shinning through from the roof, the hotel feels heavenly. The hotel also has an artistic flair to it. There are certain dome shape architecture, which makes it looks like a bird nest and also some art structures hanging from above. The check in counter also has a futuristic feel, making the whole place very modern and new. Love it!

When we saw a deal for two nights in an Urban room with Collection Club privileges at @parkroyalcollectionmarinabay, we literally pounced on it. The 3D2N stay cost us $500 nett and I suspect we may never see the likes of this kinda deal for PRMB in a long while.

For our package we got the Urban room which is between 31-33sqm, and you get a choice of king sized or twin beds. Our room also came with a balcony, but please take care if you’re staying with kids because it doesn’t seem too child friendly. The view is nice enough from behind the full length windows!
This is the most basic room category at PRMB, so there’s no Nespresso. For that, you’ll have to go up to a Collection room category, but our stay comes with club lounge benefits so no way will I be drinking the instant coffee here!
The rooms have been recently refurbished after it came under the Pan Pacific Group, and got rebranded to Parkroyal Marina Bay, so the room looks fresh and airy. There’s a lot of empty space to walk about, and a long table in front of the tv if you need to do some work. It’ll be better if they provided a proper adjustable working chair.
The urban room feels basic but all is good considering the price we’re paying to be in the Marina Bay area. The bed is comfy, pillows aren’t the super soft kind, and I got two good nights of sleep here.
Hilariously, I ended up not spending much time here because the Collection Lounge was too attractive.

Eat eat eat at Peppermint Buffet
Singaporeans love to eat. It is part of us and eating buffet is like a lifestyle and a favourite past time. You can enjoy the good food and catch up with friends or families.
Our favourite buffet place Is Peppermint at Parkroyal Collection Marina Bay and the restaurant is situated on the second floor. Every month, peppermint comes with a different theme for their buffet For this Month, it was a Thai theme buffet. Their buffet has a fantastic international selection of fresh seafood, Indian selection, Chinese, western and Thai food. There are fresh clams, prawns and my favourite lobsters. Indian curries were yummy and there's a live pasta station for western food. If you love spicy food, all the Thai food would suit your taste buds. Even the Thai desserts were excellent.
I would highly recommend peppermint buffet who loves to eat.

We enjoyed a comfortable getaway at Parkroyal Collection Marina Bay hotel. It is located at City Hall area with lots of shops and food options around. Nearby malls include the directly connected Marina Square and Suntec City, which is just a stone’s throw away.
The hotel has been refurbished in recent years and is more minimalist, yet with a touch of luxury. The room was very well-designed, clean and spacious. Bathroom was nicely done up and the bathtub was a hit with my kids.
We ordered some in-room dining and the food did not disappoint!
It was a lovely stay, and we will be back!

It was our staycation in December 2021. The hotel package came with breakfast. From the balcony of our hotel room, we were able to see the skyscrapers of Singapore which was a wonderful view. The gym has sustainable equipments and the pool is pretty huge.
The plus of this hotel is there is a connecting walkway to Marina Square and nearby eateries. If you are game, you can take a lovely stroll at night all the way to Marina Bay Sands.
