[2024 Seogwipo Stay] Travel Guide for Parnas Hotel Jeju (Updated Sep)
🌊✨ Jeju's Parnas Hotel: A Luxurious Island Escape 🏝️🛎️
🌴🌞 Basking in Jeju's cool climes, I discovered a gem that's a blend of luxury and nature – Parnas Hotel Jeju. This chic stay is a stone's throw from the sea, offering a pool with a view and a promise of tranquility. Though the trek to the beach is a mini-hike (over ten minutes!), the journey is worth the sandy toes.
🛏️🔍 The rooms? Well, they're a mixed bag. On one hand, the family sea view room gave a panoramic embrace of the ocean, but on the other, some rooms felt just too cozy (read: small). And, oh, the housekeeping could use a bit of a nudge – finding hairs in the quilt isn't quite the souvenir one hopes for. Mini-bar offerings are modest, so pack snacks!
🍽️🕒 Breakfast buffets and their early curtain calls mean you gotta rise with the sun to enjoy the full spread. It's a bit of a race against time, and the half-empty dishes may leave you craving more.
🐬🚫 For the kiddos, it's a tad disappointing with few activities to keep them giggly. And a heads-up – bring your toothbrushes, as these essentials are a no-show in Korean hotels.
🧭 But outside the hotel doors lies Jeju's charm. Skip the Teddy Bear Museum and set sights on dolphin delights, or wait for the Hello Kitty Museum to dust off its construction blues. And remember, Visa or Won – that's your Jeju currency mantra!

Often think of the Parnas Hotel even after returning to China
jeju Often think of the Parnas Hotel even after returning to China.
In mid-July, I came to Jeju to escape the heat. Who can refuse to enjoy the sea view during the blue hour? The weather doesn't affect the experience at Parnas.
On the second night in Jeju, considering the rainy season and itinerary, I chose Parnas Hotel over Hyatt.
Location: Seogwipo City. Compared to the bustling city center, Seogwipo is more suitable for strolling and relaxing. Just set the destination to Parnas Hotel when taking a taxi (there's also a bus stop specifically for Parnas Hotel). The doorman and lobby staff are super friendly and patient. The doorman helps with luggage during check-in and check-out. Everyone speaks excellent English without any accent. The staff can help order takeout; we ordered the recommended BHC fried chicken and spicy hotpot.
Hotel Environment: Two pools require QR code reservations (you'll get a guide upon check-in). No reservation needed for the morning. The locker rooms, showers, and lockers are very clean, equipped with towels, bathrobes, and the hotel's unique fragrance, along with various toiletries (no photos allowed inside, but I sneaked a pic of the dressing table p8).
The hotel is large. Korean dramas have been filmed here. The L floor (p9) is the executive corridor and is very beautiful. The hotel has East and West wings with several restaurants. You can have afternoon tea and desserts in the lobby.
The most distinctive features are the heated infinity pool, indoor pool, and sauna. Highly recommended! Experience the Korean bath culture by swimming and then sweating in the sauna (p15). It's super comfortable. Bring a nice swimsuit, and you can swim even after checking out. The room's mini bar is replenished daily with free drinks, including delicious local Jeju beer. You can also order from the hotel's menu, which is rich but a bit pricey. There's a GS25 convenience store nearby, but unfortunately, no instant noodles! The hotel has direct access to a coastal greenway with sea breeze and waves, leading to a secluded beach behind the hotel (p14). It's clean with fine sand and few people. Rainy days offer a different vibe, but be careful of slippery paths. Crossing this beach leads to The Cliff restaurant on the other side, saving a lot of time compared to the main road. There's a great brunch spot next to the hotel on the first floor, a bit pricey but delicious (p18). A short taxi ride takes you to attractions like the Columnar Joint and Teddy Bear Museum.
Booked a 46-square-meter twin room on Agoda (recommend confirming the booking with the hotel via email!). The room has a balcony with great views of the secluded beach and infinity pool. Although not as spacious as Hyatt, the hardware is excellent, more like a resort hotel. For those with poor sleep quality and a budget, this is a top choice. The mattress is very comfortable. If you want a higher floor, note it on the booking platform.
A deposit is required, charged per night. We paid in cash and got it back immediately upon checkout.

Just returned from Jeju Island, here are some tips for friends who want to go
This time, Mia's kindergarten graduation trip was to Jeju Island.
The weather in Jeju Island is perfect for escaping the heat.
It never gets hotter than 30 degrees 🔥, very cool~
Residents of Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai are very satisfied 😄
Four days and three nights are generally enough for taking kids.
It is recommended to stay both by the seaside ⛱️ and in the city.
Taking a taxi to go out is quite convenient.
Here are some warnings ❌:
▫️
Stayed at the Parnas Hotel that many people mentioned.
The hotel is indeed relatively new and close to the sea.
The pool view is okay, but it takes more than ten minutes to walk to the beach.
The room is really very average ⚠️, very small in size.
The basic room booked by my friend is no different from an ordinary four-star room in China.
I booked a family sea view room.
I found three hairs when I opened the quilt‼️ So disgusting 🤮
And the minibar only had one bottle of water and one can of Coke.
As for the buffet breakfast, it ends at 10:30 🔚.
We arrived at 10:00, it was still 328 per person, half price for children.
But many dishes were already empty and not replenished.
🏨 There are very few activities suitable for children.
Also, toothbrushes 🪥 and toothpaste are not provided in Korean 🏨, they need to be paid for.
Remember to bring your own.
▫️
The Teddy Bear 🧸 Museum is not worth visiting.
If you have time, you can go for the dolphin 🐬 watching project, both adults and children will love it.
The Hello Kitty Museum is under construction, don't go for nothing❗️
Most places in Jeju Island do not accept domestic payment methods.
Be sure to prepare a Visa card or Korean Won.

This is my first off-season trip to Jeju Island, and it deeply impressed me
🧳Travel preparation: passport, Korean data card, converter plug, toiletries (some hotels do not provide toothpaste and toothbrush), Korean transportation card (free application from gzh Korea Tourism Development Bureau), Korean won (exchange more if possible), visa card, etc.
📱Essential software: Naver map, Kakoo T taxi software (switch to English in advance), Papago translation software
🚍Route arrangement:
Day1️⃣: Hotel➡️Lotte/Shinsegae Duty Free Shop➡️Rainbow Road
🌟Cafe Namonamo: The first choice for afternoon tea across from Rainbow Road, the sea view from the two-story glass window is especially photogenic, and the drinks and pastries are all good!
Day2️⃣: Snoopy Park➡️Hamdeok Beach➡️London Bagel🥯Museum/Small Dog Cafe Cafe Layered➡️Woljeongri (Mongle Cookies)
🌟Snoopy Garden: The location is remote, although it's not popular, it's very photogenic, a great place for a walk with kids, it's recommended to pay attention to the bus schedule in advance! The bus schedule nearby is long!
🌟Cafe Layered: The store design is very ins style, a very Korean coffee shop, the taste of bread and cake is average, the milk tea is too sweet and not recommended!
❗️London Bagel Museum: You need a local Korean phone number to wait for a seat (there are waiters at the door to help), it's always popular and there's always a line!
❗️Mongle Cookie Shop: The exterior is very distinctive and photogenic, the cookies are average!
Day3️⃣: Yaimyeong➡️Black Pork BBQ➡️Seogwipo Parnas Hotel Resort
🌟Parnas hotel: Located in the Chinese tourist area of Seogwipo City, it shares the Chinese beach with Lotte, Shinsegae Hotel, etc., it's the exclusive first choice for Koreans, there are LV specialty stores, Teddy Bear Museum, etc. nearby, it's very inconvenient to travel, it's suitable for renting a car to go there, the infinity pool is very photogenic, it's worth checking in for friends who like vacation!
🍊Nearby attractions: Columnar Joint Zone, Oulai Market, etc.!
Day4️⃣: Wake up naturally and check out➡️Airport
👌Recommended food:
🥘: 24-hour potato spine soup
🍗: BHC Fried Chicken: Original flavor, cheese ball (easy to line up in the city)
🍖: Black Pork BBQ
🍱: Haenyeo Seaweed Rice (not particularly spicy)
⚠️Sincere advice:
❗️Exchange more Korean won or bring a good visa card Most shops trade in cash, taxis are expensive, and it's easy to consume Korean won, and the average per capita in the afternoon tea shop is not low!
❗️It's recommended to rent a car if there are many people, don't arrange too many itineraries in one day, pay attention to the bus schedule in advance, swipe the bus card when you get on and off the bus, and it's free to transfer within a certain time!
❗️Olive Young supports Alipay and has activities, on-the-spot tax refund requires a passport!
❗️Jeju Island Airport is small, you can check in one and a half hours in advance, you don't need to arrive early, there's not much shopping at the airport!
